Went in for a Half Balayage, ask for Ang she's perfect in doing it as I had her do mine. However, I think everyone there did a lovely job as I was watching the rest. There no sound of complaint; they even had food and drinks out for the customers which was very thoughtful, no one is rude there, they have a wonderful service & I loved the results. read more

The highlights done were ok but looked like barely anything had been done to the point where I was asked did I even get highlights. But the problem I had was I left with a large scar on my forehead from either a burn from the dye or the forceful rubbing off of the dye that was left. I've been hesitant to leave a negative review as I'm not confrontational and try to give benefit of the doubt but it's been months and the scar is just a constant reminder of why I would never go back here. read more

The hair stylist and I discussed my color and the next day just changed her mind without mentioning the change when I walked in. When I asked about the change they refuse to acknowledge that the day before we had discussed something else. I shower the stylist a picture of the hair cut I wanted her to mimic she could not get the top of my hair to have the same lift. I just had the best experience at this salon. My son is 19 months and we took him in for his first(ish) haircut. Sam was excellent with him. He was, as expected, not the most cooperative toddler in the world but she was so patient and easing. I was terrified to get his haircut but Sam listened to what I said and emulated a pictured I had shown to the T. The owner is warm and welcoming as well. Better late than never posting a review. Visited this location a back in October. I called, made an appointment and took my 6 year old to get a hair cut, wash and blow dry. Everyone was so nice and friendly and took great care of my little girl. Samantha washed, cut, layered and did a blow out for her. This hair salon is by far the best salon I have ever been to! You feel a very warm and welcoming vibe when you first walk in; everybody is smiling (including the clients)! Every stylist is extremely attentive to their clients, always making sure that the clients know exactly what is happening to their hair. I always find that I feel more comfortable knowing exactly what a stylist or colorist is doing to my hair so I'm not left with questions. Kylie is the only person I trust with coloring my hair after I received horrible highlight from a different salon! Kylie is a goddess when it comes to color and she knows exactly what will look good and won't look good. She will always tell you what she thinks would look best and I recommend trusting is because she is the saint of all hair in the world. Visited this salon for the first time today and was super pleased! 2.5 yrs ago at a DIFFERENT salon I had such a bad experience Ive been afraid to let anyone else touch my hair...so I was nervous to maKe an appointment but terribly desperate. I searched for a local salon that had good reviews and Mirror Mirror popped up. I read the reviews and visited their website and decided to give them a try. Sam (stylist) at Mirror Mirror greeted me and started off by listening to me and asking me what exactly I was looking for. She truly listened and was conscientious about my past experience at the other salon. I left very happy and pleased with the whole experience. It's a really nice salon, too. I just moved to the area so was looking for a new go to salon to trim my hair every so often. I've given this place multiple tries due to their good reviews. Their reviews seem to be more for their wedding services. If you just want a hair cut they leave much to be desired. I communicated that I wanted to add layers to my hair and lighten the weight of it and all the stylists do is trim 2 inches from the bottom and blow dry. I went for a cut and color and I LOVED the color and the new cut. It was my first time going here, and I was excited to have found a new salon. Today I needed a blowout and went to a place by an event I was attending. The stylist kept asking where I got my haircut, and then she asked if she could show me something. She took a picture of the back of my hair, and the bottom was cut so unevenly. I haven't noticed because I have been drying my hair, but with it straightened today it was really noticeable. I liked Mirror Mirror and found everyone so friendly and helpful, so i think I will be back but will just ask for a different stylist next time. read more

I wish there was an option to rate more than 5 stars. Going to a hair salon for color use to be such a stressful thing for me. My description of what I wanted vs. What I was getting never the same. I just remember sitting in a chair as my colorist would be finishing that last piece before spinning me around and always being disappointed. I am so glad I found Kylie. Kylie has been coloring my hair for about 4 years now and I could not be happier. She really knows how to give you exactly what you want. She's confident, friendly, and extremely talented. I had to update my review because unfortunately after COVID a lot of good people left this place (for ex Kylie and Angela). The overall environment is pleasant as Im always greeted by a very friendly front desk, Nancy, which is why Im not giving it a 1 star). But the quality of work is not worth the amount they charge. After numerous times of going here and telling the stylist (Jessica) of what I wanted and each time it was completely wrong ( I mean I showed her a picture of blond hair and she literally made me just a slightly lighter brunette). When I asked for highlights to be done she made them the worst I ever had in my life, resulting in some yellow/brown tone hair instead of what its supposed to be "highlights"=bright blond strips of sections. This person literally didn't listen to me at all, and I could tell that she got offended that I didn't like what she's done with my hair. Well Im sorry after spending $400 I think I deserve to get what I paid for. Not only did she not listen to what I wanted to be done but she did things without explaining them to me or even asking for my permission, for example placing a base color for my hair when I never asked for it (and of course that was extra money which I wasn't told upfront about) or like putting me on glaze treatment without explaining or asking me (which ofcourse added to the cost again). Nothing was even offered to make up for this, at this point I don't even care anymore. After all this nonsense and the chances I gave and the money I wasted, and my poor ruined hair (I actually had my hair break in half which I never experienced in my life), I will not be coming back here ever again. My advice (from other reviews) if you do go here ask for the owner, she is probably the only one that knows what she is doing at this point and ask ahead of time what they're planning on doing to you and how much it will cost you. Otherwise I would not recommend coming here to anyone. read more

I went in for an interview for a position as an assistant almost a year ago and since then this salon has contacted me at least 3 if not 4 times saying they were interested in me working there. They all seemed like really nice people when I came in for the interview, but unfortunately my experience with this salon has been very unprofessional. Every time I reached back out after they showed interest by contacting me there was no follow up. This salon clearly doesn't value my time and energy as a job applicant so I can only imagine working there. I called back to follow up for the second time this week after they contacted me for the third or fourth time last Thursday because, again, they did not call me back. I asked to speak to the owner so I could tell her how unprofessional this was, and she "wasn't there." Yea right. I've worked at a salon before ladies. I've been to many hair salons and I usually sit in the chair feeling anxious for the entire duration and unsure about what my hairdresser is doing. I had the most wonderful experience at Mirror Mirror. I really can't say enough!! It started off with a very kind and reassuring appointment booking over the phone. I work many hours and don't have many days off. They were very accommodating, allowing me to come in the same day. When I got there, everyone was so nice offering me tea and coffee. It was busy but I did not have to wait very long. Caitlin took the time to ask me what I was looking for in detail and made sure to take a good look at the pictures I brought with me. I wanted a particular shade of brown balayage and I really appreciated that when it came time to glaze my hair, she brought over a book to compare colors and shades. After the balayage was completed, I was passed onto Angela who cut my hair. She was just as detail oriented asking about how much I wanted cut, angles, and layers. I've been to salons where the hairdresser didn't even know what those terms meant so it was a great relief to see that she was more than competent. Angela answered my essay worth of questions without any sign of irritation or exasperation. She was wonderful at keeping me relaxed and before I knew it, I was done! I felt like a new person and my hair was beautifully colored and cut. Please please please give these girls a try. You won't regret it!! read more
