I met Misha at The Made In Hawaii festival. It was life changing. Prior I had learned about her from a sales associate at "Fighting Eel" who shared that Misha dives for her own shells. . . So bad ass! I can't remember the year but shell/pearl bangles were all the rage and Misha's were perfectly hammered, shiny and built to last. While other cheaper bangles I've bought over the years have changed shape, Misha's bangles are SOLID and as beautiful as the day I bought them. I have acquired a collection of Misha's jewelry and get more compliments on her designs then all my other jewelry combined. I am particularly obsessed with her statement earrings but what I like best about Misha is her line is constantly evolving. New earring designs (love the studs), rings, necklaces, and collaborations with other local businesses. Today was a first for me visiting her newish downtown location. Her studio is across the street from Pig and The Lady so be sure to gather your girlfriends and plan a shopping and lunch date. Misha's showroom hours are 12-3 Wednesday-Friday but I recommend you also follow her on Instagram to find out about other special events (@mishahawaii). When I arrived at the address, I used the intercom system to scroll through the list of names, which connected me to Misha so she could buzz me up. Misha's space was gorgeous with tons of natural light and BEAUTIFUL one of a kind creations at a range of price points (not pictured her luxe Tahitian pearl line). As I mentioned above, I have an amazing collection of her jewelry already (mostly earrings) so I was looking for another statement piece, a necklace. And I found it! The Moana Tassel Tahitian Pearl Necklace. The 28″ chain is 14kt gold filled with tourmaline (rainbow) rosary gemstones. BUT... I liked the pearl on another version of this necklace better and I was torn between the two options... Misha offered to change the pearl on the necklace on the spot, while I sipped a glass of delicious rosé. I was able to hand select another GORGEOUS pearl and walk out of her Holiday Ship and Shop event with a customized necklace I truly LOVED. . . And two pairs of earrings. I will wholeheartedly continue to support Misha's small business because her creations are truly top of the line and she treats her customers like family. Mahalo Misha!

I have two Misha bangles. One was a gift from my sister and I loved it so much I went and got another bangle. A three Pearl bangle with a gold ,purple and black Pearl. I love it! Misha might not be the cheapest but she sure has the best quality pears and best work I have seen. Make sure if you are getting a gift for someone that you order in plenty of time because she is very busy and can some times take two to three weeks to get your order created.

Maile Monstera earrings with Carrie Monstera necklace. My first earring and necklace set. (I now have over a dozen sets)

I love their jewelry. I've purchased several pairs of earrings, and I have my eye on the Tahitian pearls next!

Daisy spent so much time with me throughout the customization process, truly listening to my ideas and ensuring my vision came to life. I provided a loose pink stone, and together they helped create a beautiful piece that feels like a second engagement ring to me. What impressed me most was their commitment to customer satisfaction. There was a misunderstanding during the process that was entirely my fault, not theirs. Despite that, Daisy and Amy went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the final result. They were patient, kind, understanding, and genuinely cared that I loved my ring. Their professionalism, craftsmanship, and dedication are outstanding, but what really sets them apart is their aloha spirit. They treated me with such warmth and grace throughout the entire experience. I am incredibly grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a truly special custom jewelry experience or any piece in general

Friday came, & I arrived shortly after the chain was delivered. Unfortunately it felt like a bait & switch. The chain was thousands more. The worker did take ownership of the mistaken quote, but that's where it ended. No accommodation for the mishap & time wasted.

First and foremost, I want to call out that it REALLY helps to have done research prior to…read morepurchasing an engagement ring. You should have some idea on what the special person in your life would want and pictures are the best way to get that help in designing the proper ring (if you're going the custom route). This includes, but is not limited to, the setting, the setting material, prong design, diamond clarity/color/cut/size, even other features she might like - and most of all, ring size. Knowing details beforehand made the conversation much more enlightening than I ever imagined. I spent a year sporadically researching options, keeping Moshe in my back pocket - turns out, he was the one I should've went to all along. Back in April, I contacted Moshe since the time was coming up fast. I googled that the turnaround time for a ring was typically 5-6 weeks and I was about 7 weeks out from the day I planned to propose. I needed to get with someone I knew people trusted and that just had a flawless attitude to getting high quality pieces completed - Moshe was my guy. I chatted with him a bit on IG to explain what I'm looking for, got a quick quote, and asked about turnaround time before booking an appointment. When booking the official appointment, you need to provide a deposit (that gets credited to your total cost of the ring). This is when it gets serious so make sure you're ready to commit. When I showed up to the appointment, I was greeted as if I were a family friend. Though I will recommend you inquire about the exact location of their office before you show up. It's impossible to find on Yelp at least to my knowledge and for security purposes, I think it's safe to leave that information out of my review as well, but that's something for you to keep in mind. Anyway, everyone is incredibly nice, they're quite literally like a family. We sat down in Moshe's office where he asked a few basic questions before digging into the finer details about design. I had videos, pictures, and experiences to share (based on discussions I had with my girlfriend). Moshe walked me through the entire customization from diamond size (which I had already picked out prior to the appointment on his website), setting, prongs, and of course, budget and pricing. Most importantly, selecting a date-range for pickup (at least, in my case). After designing, I got to meet Aunty M, who takes payment while Moshe got on the phone to get my order in the queue ASAP due to my time constraint. I was in the process of getting a fresh new credit card for this purchase so I put down a deposit on one card before paying two days later with the fresh one - kind of recommend this since you can end up using these points for a trip later, maybe even your honeymoon, who knows! Come the week that we take off on this trip (proposing overseas), I called up the office to see how we were doing on time. After a bit of back and forth, we agreed on a pickup date one day before takeoff. That meant that I was clear to not only tell my parents it was happening, but to also ask for the blessing of my girlfriend's father. Now that we're back, we downsized the ring by a full size so it'll fit my fiancée's finger better since the hint that I got early on about ring size was actually not accurate. I shared the story of the ring customization with her and let me tell you, it was quite an adventure, but she loves how it came out - it was literally the ideal design. Thank you to Moshe and the team, the ring was perfect thanks to all of you for making it happen. She cannot take her eyes off it now, it's just spectacular.
