My family and I have used Mishel dental for many years. Today, 04/23/2026, I needed to make an urgent dental appointment and was told I missed an appointment back in 2023 and needed to pay a $80.00 balance before I could schedule a new appointment. I have never received any documents showing I have a balance due. My recommendation is not to use this dental practice as they seem to be more interested in making money, then helping people and our community! read more

Dr Mishel has been our families dentist for over 20 years and we love him! He takes his time explaining options if you need major work done and will not do anything that isn't necessary. Kind, honest and an excellent Dentist! His partner Dr Spencer Kruse is awesome as well! I'm 47 years old. I had some serious orthodontics as a child and have since not wanted to see a dentist. Thanks to a delicious fudge covered cookie I was quickly made keenly aware that my teeth could no longer be ignored. Dr. Kruse is an absolute saint. I had a NASTY cavity (first in my life). This crew took excellent care of me. Due to my childhood issues, I was a nervous wreck and I'm sure one of the worst patients they've ever had. Fidgety, clenching, and just being a giant baby. I'm not kidding at all... I felt ZERO pain and still acted as though I did. (4 numbing shots and I felt none of them) They did their work, despite my childish behavior, and I feel 5 years younger. (Left there about 7 hours ago) I'd highly recommend Dr. Kruse to anyone. Friend or foe, it doesn't matter. This fella doesn't want you to hurt. I truly believe he just wants to make your teeth be all that they can be. They also have the coolest laser scan tool that I found endlessly fascinating. Dr. Kruse was kind enough to explain that to me as well. I have another appointment in about 10 days for my permanent crown and I'm actually looking forward to it. I have been coming here since 1999 when I was a child. My parents insurance switched so I switched dentists from middle school throughout college. Now that I am on my own insurance I decided to come back here because this is the dentist of both my dad and grandparents. This is a new location since I have visited as a child. My most recent visit I had some mixed feelings about my overall visit. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because the receptionist was kind of short. When I gave my name at check in her response was just "okay". So I wasn't sure if I needed to just sit down or what I needed to do. The hygienist was friendly but also seemed a little frustrated while cleaning my teeth. Dentist was friendly, but time spent was very quick and impersonal. He asked what I had been up to but it felt like it was just a standard question he asks because he wasn't too interested in my response and was actually walking away while still answering him. I like to keep all of my medical stuff together so I will continue to come here with hopes that my next visit is a little more pleasant. Mishel office will not share weather or not employees are vaccinated. Claiming HIPPAA violation. I called and asked multiple times. They have been pretty rude if any of us ask. As a covid high risk patient they bullied me right out of my dental care here! I am at a loss for words. Myself and my family have gone here for years. Was so wrong in thinking they cared about their patients including me or any of my family members. We are all-high risk or we live with someone high-risk that we *MUST help protect! Not only that, and this is important to note, there is a Senior Apartment Complex right behind Mishel Dental. Many of those high risk vulnerable Seniors walk to this office. Many Seniors may not think to ask if the Employees at Mishel have been vaccinated. read more

The practice of charging missed appointment fees is not publicly available on their website. The dental care is good, however in a very competitive environment with multiple excellent dentists in the area, I was surprised and concerned to be told I would need to pay a missed appointment fee to be able to have my children access dental care. I just had the best dentist experience of my life at this office. It was quick, the front desk staff was friendly, and the waiting room was nice. My hygienist, Angilee, made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. Normally, I am terrified when I sit down in a dentist's chair, but Angilee was friendly and personable and explained everything she was doing inside my mouth. She also did an excellent job. The dentist I saw was wonderful too! I'll definitely be back to this office for my next cleaning. read more

I schedule far ahead so i can get appointments for me and all of the kids. Last time we arrived they wanted to take my 3 year old son back alone, because they scheduled me with a hygienist at the same time. I wasnt given the breakdown of the appointment times, only the start time. Also, watch out for their texting. They charged us for an appointment missed by my daughter that they say was confirmed, but i never answered. Sometimes i have to ask the dentist to come back and talk to me about the examinations on some of the children. The practice feels like a money making machine. read more

Have been going to Mishel Kruse Dental for several years now and they are great. My hygienist, Nikki, is so professional and caring. Dr. Kruse is excellent. Last week he removed a tooth and prepared two crowns. I thought it would be painful and it wasn't at all. Dr. Kruse and his assistant Amy made sure I was comfortable during the entire procedure. I can honestly say he is my favorite in my many decades of dentists! The office is also excellent about letting me know how much any procedure is going to cost so I can plan for it. They accept my insurance discount plan and can immediately tell me costs which is so helpful. Very efficient, caring, professional practice. Highly recommend especially for dental phobes like myself. read more

My daughter has had Cancer for 12 years. She has Desmoid tumors. She is in home based chemo therapy. She is 24. And disabled. This dental practice let her leave without paying a 20 dollar fluoride treatment. She called back to make a appointment and they said she would not be allowed to come back because she had not payed the 20 dollar payment. She has chemo brain and currently in chemo. Mashel screamed at her and said she could not comeback. I called the Doctor and he said if everyone owed them 20 dollars they would be out of business. Then he told me that me and my three daughters would not be allowed back. This Dentist and his help are monsters. I'm floored at their behavior. After reading reviews on google it is a pattern of behavior that is the worst I have seen in my 64 years. read more

I would not AT ALL recommend this dental practice. Having previously had expensive dental work by Dr. Kruse, which was just okay at best, I was put on a very long waiting list for a cleaning. I spoke to a receptionist this morning asking again when I could get in for a cleaning. She was terse and dismissive at best and was making an obvious effort to get off the phone and move on with her day. When I expressed my legitimate frustration that others who I had personally referred to their office had been able to get in for cleaning while I had already been waiting for some time for mine, she quickly said, "okay thank you" and hung up on me while I was in mid-sentence. I phoned back to speak with an office manager but received a very dismissive, bored and uninterested few moments of her time. I decided at that moment that I was never going to return and I will be looking for a more kind, polite and professional dental practice. After all, why would anyone give their business to a practice that either does not care at all about their customers or decides that their employees being dismissive of and impolite to people on the phone is the price they have to pay to simply staff an office. I give Dr. Kruse and his staff an F grade for running a poor practice. read more

It is hard to say what the best thing is about Mishel Kruse Dental however if I had to pick one I would have to say the people. Having been a patient since 2002 and moving around a bit I have driven as much as two hours each way for a dental appointment to this office. I have referred both friends, family, and coworkers alike and truly trust the staff to take care of my dental needs. From the moment you walk into the clean, updated office to the friendly hygienists who clean my teeth, it is the best experience one can hope for in going to the dentist. The efficient team keeps the process moving and Dr. Mishel takes the time to address any concerns that I may have. My sister called to make an appointment with Dr Mishell. She was told she couldn't make an appointment because she didn't pay her 20 dollar bill for an extra fluoride treatment. The office staff did not say she owed anything when she left. They said that they had sent her three bills and she hadn't responded. My sister is disabled and in chemotherapy for cancer. She has chemo brain and has attention deficit problems. She paid the 20 dollars on the phone but was still refused a new appointment. Then, when my dad called to find out what was wrong, the staff and doctor told him that he could not make an appointment for himself or for his daughters or anyone in my family, including me. The staff was so rude and yelled at my father. I can't believe the doctor does not have the humanity to treat a disabled girl and her family when they don't owe a penny. We found a new dentist and would not recommend this one. read more
