Dellah is located on a mixed residential and commercial street with plenty of parking nearby. We chose to eat lunch here in June 2026 since it wasn't too far from our hotel and we saw that they had outdoor seating - important since we had my little dog with us. The place was very busy but since we were eating outside, we had no wait and we were waited upon promptly. There are a LOT of American choices on here (like sugary pancakes) but a third of the menu consists of Yemeni food. I got a traditional Yemeni tea ($4.50) and my boyfriend sipped on a smooth matcha latte ($6.50). We had a big breakfast that morning, so we chose to just share the lahm sighar ($20), which comes with a piece of khuba bread, and also order an additional khuba bread ($2). About 15 minutes later, our food was ready and after taking the necessary pictures, we dug in! Needless to say, the extra bread was not necessary. I don't know what we were thinking but we assumed a piece of khuba was small. Nope! Each piece is the size of my 17-inch computer. Anyway, we used bits of the khuba as silverware to pick up the deliciously tender lahm sighar, something I saw others do when I went inside to use the bathroom and nosily looked around. I must mention that the BATHROOM HAS A BIDET. I REPEAT. BATHROOM HAS A BIDET!!!! Hehe :) seeing it just made me happy lol. So anyway, I saw that the coffee section of Dellah is set up inside like a traditional coffee shop where you can grab and go some coffee, tea, and pastries if you'd like. I did grab my bf, dog, and I some water from the coffee counter, which is self-service. We didn't leave a crumb behind and loved our food here. I would happily come back again! Without the added eggs, this dish would be woefully lacking in substance for me. I would likely still be left hungry with the beans alone, since I don't eat the bread, generally. I tried the bread to give it a go, it's good. The Greek salad is nicely plated or bowled rather. The ingredients are in separate piles and looks like a pinwheel. The red onions were crudely cut. The tomatoes looked wrinkled and not so appealing. The Greek salad was underwhelming for me. The tea doesn't taste good, definitely need some honey, sugar or the milk here, although I favor nothing in my tea.
