If I'm being completely honest, the only reason I came here was because we wanted to eat at Al Tayeb restaurant (next door) and we had a 30 minute wait. We figured it was a perfect opportunity to grab a coffee or tea prior to getting breakfast and I think this business greatly benefits from the circumstances (I guess you can call it a symbiotic relationship). It's essentially another Yemeni coffee shop like so many that have opened up in metro Detroit. Nothing to complain about, just delicious and aromatic warm beverages with some desserts behind the display. I took home a tiramisu with biscoff cream on top. Nothing really makes this place stand out from other coffee shops, but it is definitely nice inside!

Definitely beautiful place, you can appreciate the decor and attention to detail in this little coffee shop, everything is well thought of. Place is very clean, staff is nice and helpful. The food presentation is very nice. Ordered a mocha latte, I was well pleased with it. I'd recommend, and come back again to try more things.

    Fancy and modern interior!

This spot was in the ATA plaza next to where we had lunch at AlTayeb so we decided to stop in and get drinks & dessert. I had the: * Adeni Chai - my go to when I visit any Yemeni coffee shops because the chai is just outstanding. Azal's was no exception - aromatic, comforting and bold! Also, appreciate that they asked about sweetness level. * Sabaya (a multi layered Yemeni pastry ) * Lotus Basbous ( semolina cake ) * pistachio cup

The aesthetic of this place is beautiful with stunning artwork and decor. The adeni chai was good but not as flavorful as other yemeni coffee shops in the area. They have a variety of desserts that were all tasty. I'd come back and try their other drinks.

In addition to coffee, they offer cordatos, hot chocolate, lattes, refreshers, green tea, cold brew, and a variety of other café-style beverages, along with a selection of pastries. I ordered the iced pistachio latte, which was smooth, flavorful, and absolutely delightful. I paired it with a Dubai chocolate pistachio croissant, and both were exceptional. The atmosphere is calm and softly lit, making it an ideal spot to unwind after work or spend the day co-working. Customer service was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Everyone seemed genuinely pleased with their experience. There is a shared parking lot available, as well as street parking.

Might need clarification on that if it matters to you. The lady at the register has a soft voice so it was hard to hear her. There are 3 entrances, front back and side. If you go in from the side though be sure to watch your step. There was parking on the side. There is an outdoor area.
