Prices went up a $1 or $2 on several items.

3.5 Stars (rounding up to 4). I just realized YELP changed the meaning of the stars (3 stars used to mean "A-Okay", and 4 stars meant "I'm a fan"). Now it means "OK", and "Good", respectively. While I could say the food was "Good", it's hard to say "I'm a fan"....just yet. I stopped by yesterday for the first time for takeout. I can't say this is the best Peruvian Chicken I've had, but at least it scratches the itch. Overall, not bad, and will likely be back to try a few more other items. CHICKEN: The biggest thing I'm looking for in Peruvian chicken is a STRONG mouth-watering pop of flavors with the first bite. The flavors here are a bit more subdue than I'm hoping for, but still good. In fact, my wife seemed to appreciate that subtlety more than the spice-bomb I'm looking for. We ordered a whole chicken meal for ourselves and 4 single meals for some workers. We thought the chicken was good, and got neither compliments or complaints from the workers. YUCA: I would rate these as A-OK. They didn't quite have the crisp golden look I was expecting. SAUCES: I thought the white and green sauces that others have commented on were okay. The white sauce was sweet, and when I asked the person (owner?) behind the counter what was in it, he muttered through his face mask something to the effect that the guy who makes the sauces was not there, and it's a secret. The sauces is thinner than other places. I normally skip the green sauce, but I found it pretty good here. PRICES: The prices at the store versus on the menu and website has increased (reference the picture of the menu). I've venture to guess these increases are a related to the new normal (i.e., COVID-19). ---------------------- (Prices as of 12/29/2020) MEALS (2 sides) 1/4 Chicken - $7.75 1/2 Chicken - $9.75 Whole Chicken - $18.75 CHICKEN ONLY 1/4 Chicken - $6.50 1/2 Chicken - $8.50 Whole Chicken - $15.50 OTHER ENTREES Lomo Saltado - $13.50 Tallarin Saltado (Beef) - $13.50 Bistec a lo Pobre - $15.00 Carne Asada - $13.99 Chicken Sandwich - $7.99 Steak & Cheese - $8.75 Misky Chaufa (Beef) - $11.50 ----------------------------------- As a side note, I went into the bathroom to wash my hands, and was a little surprised to see it could use a little more TLC. It wasn't terrible, but the business and the building is relatively new.

Register was so friendly and all smiles, really brightens up the place. Chicken was good, not dry and moist . Salted pretty well and the rice was also delicious. No complaints to be had.

I want to love this spot since it's right next to my house, but I just couldn't fall in love. The chicken was so mild in flavor, but I will say, it was juicy. The plantains weren't what I was used to. It was a bit dry and flavorless. Huge plus that this place took my order over the phone and had it ready in 10 minutes. but y'all the plantains made me sad. so I can't recommend the plantains. I know my husband enjoyed their food, so it's different for everybody.

Nope! This is not Peruvian chicken. At best, this is baked chicken with a ton of salt on the skin. The chicken has no hints of the cumin, garlic, lime, smokey flavor, etc. that you expect with Peruvian chicken and any recipe associated with it. This chicken was not good and dry. We also received the driest yuccas ever fried. Yuk!

Quick and professional service. The whole chicken was delicious and the side of yuca was cooked to perfection. One note is that their whole chicken price has increased from $13.49 to 16.99

Their chicken sandwich comes with fries and is SO tasty! Fresh pieces of chicken in a crunchy roll. Love the spicy green sauce they include. I always ask for an extra because it tastes great with both the sandwich and the fries.

I went here to pick up dinner for my son while I was waiting for carry out food next door. I'm not sure how much business they actually get...maybe because they are new, but there was nobody in there when I came. The chicken was on par with many other Peruvian chicken places. Got mac and cheese as the side and that was pretty gross. It tasted like a frozen entree mac and cheese that they just warmed up. Also, I normally love the yellow sauce, but I did not like the one they have here. It tastes different from other places. I would probably go to other chicken places before I ever came back to this one. I forgot to take a picture of the quarter chicken meal we got.

I don't even have a huge appetite, and the amount of food I received was still surprisingly small. The service was also disappointing from the moment I arrived. The restaurant was completely empty, yet no one greeted me or acknowledged me when I walked in. I eventually had to walk over to the bar area myself to ask about my pickup order. The woman working there looked confused that I was even asking and mumbled a response I could barely understand. I figured maybe she was busy, so I waited, but the entire experience became increasingly uncomfortable. I stood there awkwardly for about 10 minutes while the employees talked amongst themselves and kept looking over at me, yet no one updated me on my order or even spoke to me. The worst part was the food itself. The potatoes in the Papa a la Huancaína were cold and partially raw. I literally had to finish cooking them in the microwave at work. The empanada was decent, and the alfajor would have gotten better marks if it weren't for the small hair I found on it, but overall the experience was not worth the price. Unfortunately, I wouldn't ever come back. Revash has better portions, better prices, and overall much better food.

It features a modern, trendy, and lively setting with hanging plants, stylish tiles, contemporary lanterns, and warm wood tones, creating a welcoming environment. It's popular for brunch, ceviches, sanguches, salads, seafood dishes, lomo saltados, and more. The dishes we tried were very good, and we recommend: - Causa Sampler, featuring crocante, tartare, and pollo -- all fresh and delicious. - Ceviche Sampler, with traditional, cremoso, and callejero options. - Tostones Sampler, featuring pulled pork, crab salad, and shrimp on crispy, chewy smashed and fried plantains. - Tallarines a la Huancaína: linguine with cream, Parmesan, and Huancaína sauce, topped with lomo saltado -- a unique Peruvian pasta dish that feels more like noodles than traditional pasta. - Arroz con Mariscos: Peruvian-style seafood rice with squid, shrimp, mussels, and salsa criolla, reminiscent of a Peruvian paella. - Lychee Passion & Chicha Colada: tasty mocktails made with lychee, passion fruit puree, chicha morada, pineapple juice, coconut milk, and lime.

The ceviche was a bit small portion but it was so tasty! We took the last 1cc of it my lamb shank was really good, especially the base of potatoes and the amazing sauce! Fried Fish, Beef Stake, Crispy Cod Fish were great too. Our server was very friendly with a big smile on his face. He recommended also introduced everything to us. I have to mention that, their bathroom has one elevator for people who have issues with climbing stairs. So thoughtful and caring! Oh! Never forget to order one of the best cake: Rice inside Cheese Cake! It was so delicious, and might blow you away! Inside decoration also very nice. Bright and spacey. Definitely will be go go go mood with family and friends again!
