So the reason for the 3 stars: I'll start with the positive. The place was clean. And the food was good. The negative there was only one waitress. So it took her about 10mins for her to get to our table and take our drink order. Then when we ordered our food it took about 30mins to get here. I'm trying to get the waitress to come to my table to I can order more food and she keeps ignoring me. So that sucks. Because it's obvious she's frustrated having to do this alone and that's why she gives the customers an attitude. If the service changed this place would be a lot better. Also someone just walked in at 9:21 wanting to eat here and they told them they where closing in 9 minutes. Online it says they close at 10 so they should change that. The customer even asked if they could order to go and they said no. read more

Gross!!! I was a loyal customer of this sushi place until last night of witnessing how servers and staff handle the food that they feed their customers is just a NO NO NO!!! I have never in my life walk out of a restaurant. Its disappointing seeing one of the server scoop the ginger using her barehand and proceed to give it to one of the customer. she didn't stop there, she didnt wash her hand and went straight to the fridge and grab some edamame with that same dirty hands. In addition, we caught another staff was handling shrimp tempura with his barehands and was trying to hide it from the other guest. I'm addicted to sushi Because of this place! The customer service is superb and the sushi chefs are fun and sweet.... I say sweet because I have a 3yr old and she has been going with us to miso since she was born and every time they see her after we eat they give her a little cup of ice cream with a tiny spoon or they will ask her if she wants oranges. The fact that they pay attention to kids is awesome. There aren't many sushi places you can go to and they pay attention to every individual including the kiddos. Food: doesn't get better. Fresh fish with no doubt. Their rolls are excellent. My absolute favorite sushi spot to go to. Rolls are delicious and nicely sized and the staff is cool and friendly. The dynamite rolls and appetizer is amazing. My wife never wanted to try sushi before...I finally convinced her to try one night at this establishment and she is now a huge fan and loves just as much as I do. read more

I went to pick up an order for a client of mine and come to find out my food wasn't ready when I arrived as I waited after 20 minutes of waiting without anyone approaching me, finally a tall young Asian guy approach me and he asked me the name on the order and he Checked and told me " oh your order was given to Someone else" and I was waiting for an apology and how they could probably make it right, instead he treated me with an angry attitude, looked at me and told me to go outside and wait until they remake my order, I told him i needed a time since my client was waiting, I waited for 45 minutes and was humiliated by this employee. Once was the top spot to go. With Big Tuna just a mile down the road, you could always come here and get served. Not anymore, the staff is slow, wait time for your food is far too long. Was told if we kept ordering rolls and not finish we would be charged 1 per piece. After a few hours, we realized we had several pieces lefted over was afraid of getting charged for slow and bad service, we wrap them up in a napkin and left them outside in the planter. I love sushi. I"m a vegetarian. Go figure. I went to Miso the day after a disappointing experience with Hiro. I went during Happy Hour, and initially was the only person in the place, at around 4:15. I ordered the Vegetable roll, the vegetable tempura appetizer, and the cream cheese gyoza. These are each $2.99 during Happy Hour. I also had hot green tea. Nice place, clean, modern music mix, smells clean. Beautiful job on the vegetable roll, the tempura was *fantastic*, and the sauce with the cream cheese gyoza was delish! I had to order a second vegetable roll, the first was so great. I will go again during Happy Hour (otherwise their vegetarian options are too pricey). If I'm truly starved I might do the all-you-can-eat because they have a number of vegetarian options...but I really REALLY wish some sushi place would make just a little effort to please Veg-heads by doing something like a lower-priced AYCE Veggie option. I know a LOT of Vegans and Vegetarians who love sushi, and who have significant others who love regular sushi. I know I'd push for sushi when I go out with friends if that were an option...as it is, I more often suggest one or two local Thai places where it's easy to get a *wide variety* of vegetarian dishes easily, and my carnivore friends are happy too. I was out of there with a full tummy for $15.05 plus tip. Which is only $3.00 less than the all-you-can-eat lunch, come to think of it. And comparable to Gold Fish's anytime prices for veggie rolls, avocado rolls, and cucumber rolls. So make this on a 3 1/2 star review. read more

The cute, kind waitress is always really sweet and caring every time I come in (I wish I knew her name). However, one of the Asian waitress, and the older Asian lady I don't care for. Came here with my family for a nice dinner date and received some of the worst service ever. We had all you can eat so we sat at the bar. By sitting at the bar you think you would get better service. Our sushi chef was more interested in standing around talking than working. We had to ask him twice each time for our sushi we had ordered. He kept disappearing into the back and it took him about 10 minutes for a piece of yellowtail on some rice. Wow, They've changed for the worst! My friends and I love grabbing some sake bombs and sushi a year ago, but after today's visit, Miso Sushi has the worst food ever; their ingredients are terrible. The sushi chef tries his best making beautiful presentations with great fish to rice ratios in the rolls, but when you take a bite it all goes downhill. The service was quick and friendly, always had a full glass to drink but quick friendly service is just one important part to run an restaurant. This is my 1st review, but not my 1st time eating at miso sushi. I have never been disappointed by the food, it is great. But what makes your meal enjoyable is the service. Last time I ordered for delivery, my order was wrong, but very good. This time I made sure to ask for extra wasabi. Last time I got something the size of a nickel , no kidding, in a cup. This time, it was no better, but at least my order was right, this time. So how much DOES wasabi cost. Since here in America, you get horseradish with green food color, not a lot. So, to recap, they DID get the order right, this time, the food was good, but they couldn't provide me with a little wasabi [I said please, twice].Oh! they threw in free indigestion, No Charge! $45 for food, $22 for delivery[it was on time]. and free indigestion. I'm really hoping someone will read this, buy the place and do what he has to to GET THE SERVICE UP TO ACCEPTABLE. But the food is very good. Trust me, it doesn't pare well with indigestion. We were able to walk in and have a seat immediately. Everyone was having causal conversation without any sense of urgency to help us. Arthur said he would be able to help us within 5 minutes to an hour. My wasabi had a beard hair in it. I brought this to his attention and he tried to make a joke about it. He gave me more, without the hair. Every roll I got tasted the same. Every roll was saturated in sauce. I got two roll's before my sister got hers. The waitresses were nice but didn't come to remove the plates until the very end when we asked for the bill. One of them spilled hot soup on a child's arm. read more

The gang is becoming quite fond of sushi lately so I had to update my review of Miso. Eight of us sat down at the sushi bar for the all-you-can-eat special on a Friday for lunch. Orders for drinks and a food were taken immediately. The entire bar filled with other customers within minutes. The beers came quickly and my first set of sushi (yes, not just rolls!) was handed to me a minute later. There were 3 chefs cranking out the food--I mean quick. But careful, if you ask for something extra spicy, unlike other sushi bars I've been to, this one knows what spicy really means! Hooray for spicy raw fish! ;) Great tasting food and great service. What more could we ask for? More sake--cold, good stuff of course--fer sher! We (2) were seated at the sushi bar, drink orders were promptly taken and the drinks delivered. Waited for several minutes then the sushi chef took our appetizer order. Waited another 10-15 minutes, no appetizer and no chance to order any sushi. We were completely ignored by the sushi chef. It was good, we got our food in a reasonable time (FYI it's better not to go in a restaurent when your starving and don't have the patient or time to wait.). Me and my bf absolutely love this place! Whenever we come out here from Arizona we come here!! We do the all you can eat and we've had almost all of the sushi tools on the menu! One time we brought my brother and he love this place! Yea sometimes there services are kinda slow but the last few times we've been out its been packed! The only thing I really don't care for is that before if you had a group and all of you were doing the all you can eat you could sit at the tables but now they want and have you sit at the bar :/ other then that we love this place! This place is ridiculous!!!! Took 10 min to get our drink order and menus. Then when it was at 40 min mark we asked how much longer the waitress said well the order didn't go in till 25 min ago and that there was another large order placed before ours. Keep in mind we got a bento box with California roll and salmon teriyaki, not a complex order. And a future tip to the waitress, just because you placed the order late does not change the fact that we were waiting to get service and were sitting at the table for almost - whole hour!!!!! In the future tell you customers that it may take longer because you have a larger order and may take longer and not give attitude!!! I would never go back to an establishment like this and this type of service! Food might be ok but there are way better sushi places around that one can go to. read more
