The boneless ribs were just ok, nothing like how they usually are. They are usually very tender and flavorful. These were lacking flavor and fatty. The Wonton soup was completely different as well. What are usually pillowy soft wontons, were thick and gummy. The broth tasted like bath water. So the entirety of our meal tasted NOTHING like the Empire we know and love. This is so disappointing. The same thing happened with Chen's Yummy House. Every time that we find a great place, they change hands and it goes to crap. I just figured I'd warn everyone that this place is NOT the same. I thought maybe they just had a bad night, but I looked at recent Google reviews before posting this, and I see a similar complaint. This was so bad that I don't even think I'll give them another chance for redemption. Every single component of our meal sucked, and we were out $50.
