Came back to green dragon and it's still a 5/5 overall! My favorite dishes were perfectly consistent, which I always appreciate. Double cooked Pork (5/5): this got better!! It was absolutely fire! The pork was perfectly tender and had that amazing 'wok hay' flavor. The Misses & Changes: Braised Tofu (4/5): Still good, but I remember this dish being better in the past. It just fell a little short this time. Beef Soup (3.5/5): A new try, but I'd pass next time. It tasted fine, but it felt more like a fast-food soup and wasn't what I was hoping for. Braised Chicken & Mushroom (2.5/5): Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing dish. It was very soupy and watery, less 'braised' and more like boiled chicken. The chicken was overcooked to the point where the bones were falling apart. I was hoping for a consistency more like Three-Cup Chicken

It's really hard to find good takeout places in the area. Green dragon was a pleasant surprise. The sweet corn soup was a bit too sweet. The beef with scallion was a bit disappointing. But the fried rice, fried noodle, candied sweet potatoes, chicken were all decent! Our kids loved the food, especially the noodles and the rice. The scallion pancakes were super thin and had more of a roti consistency. The dumplings were super juicy. Would order again.

Hands down the best authentic Chinese food in NJ. This place has some of the most flavorful and authentic Chinese food. Me and my wife love the sweet and sour pork and their homemade dumplings. We come here as much as we can and drive 30 mins plus each time cause it's that good!

A friend recommended this place when they said that the patrons were mostly Chinese. So off we went! Not the usual Chinese food that we knew, so was cautious when ordering. Ordered a few staples. Mapo tofu was great! Dumplings were made there! All the dishes were great. We'll definitely be back!

The food was ok but not great and for the price point too expensive could be better the food lack of flavor

This is a rare find because not only does Green Dragon serve authentic Chinese food, they specialize in Northern Chinese food, which is very difficult to find in this area. I stopped by to pick up some lunch and I can say confidently that I will be back many more times in the future. I got a braised tofu, a stir-fried beef with scallions, and one of their specialties, the sweet & sour pork. It is important to note that the sweet & sour pork is not the version that you get at your typical Chinese takeout place. This is legit sweet & sour pork that people in China eat. The flavor is amazing and it pairs well with a bowl of steamed white rice. I'm excited to come back and check out the other items on their menu.

Firstly the small restaurant is clean and cozy. I am giving a preliminary review because the dishes I chose were better eaten at the restaurant. They can also put holes in the container to reduce moisture. The Generals Shrimp has a great sauce better than any general's sauce I have had. My issue was with the medium shrimp I think they should be large and butterfly. The shrimp tasted fresh and the broccoli so good with the sauce. The shrimp and pork dumplings have the potential to be the best along with the sauce but the container affected the texture when I finally opened it. Like I said it's a preliminary review. I loves the taste and seasonings my issue is with the texture during takeout. I think they need to change containers and separate the sauce. I will be back because this could be a 4.

Such a change to Chinese food for those non Americans and the Northern cuisine is so good. The BBQ lamb and belly pork is yumms and we have been there weekly since. If you are local, don't miss this!!

So far so good. We haven't ordered much, yet. Family loves the rice. They are very friendly, place is very clean, but of course it's new. Tables are set that's great. A welcome addition to the town. Can't wait to try more of the menu. Menu looks like a mix of Chinese & bbq. Who doesn't love that combo.

Four of us visited last night and noticed we were almost the only non-Asians in the place, that tells you it's authentic! We have never had a bad dish and this visit met all expectations. Thai flavors are always exceptional even if you are not a hot spice fan (like me). Three of us started with the Tom Kha Soup, perfect for cold night. Coconut broth with yummy veggies and just the right spices (Galangal is so unique). Shrimp or chicken added is very nice. I had the Pineapple Fried Rice which sounds boring for a main, but it's full of chicken, shrimp, and other flavorful goodies. We sometimes share as an app, but my favorite so must have one way or another. My son has the Duck Curry which was massive, very tender, almost no fat. He took on level 4 spice, not for me but I tried it, wow. The Masaman curry is always a big hit, daughter said it was great once again. Wife had Green Curry with Shrimp, "creamy with crisp vegetables, very good". Servers all seem to be family, and I believe most are. They all treat you with respect and the true care which adds to a nice experience. Ambiance is warm and nice, great spot for table talk. Prices are fair, and yes, they are still BYO! Keep up the great work!!

I customized my pho bowl by adding the Beef Ball (Bo Vien), which also came with rice noodles, cilantro, onion, and scallions. I was given a mini bag filled with jalapeños, basil leaves, limes, bean sprouts, sriracha packets, and hoisin sauce packets to complement the pho. Overall, the soup was absolutely dynamite and comforting. The broth had a superb flavor bomb, which made the entire meal extremely satisfying. I enhanced my bowl with the addition of jalapeños, basil leaves, lime juice, and sriracha sauce. The order was delivered in a timely manner. The staff member who assisted me over the phone was super kind, especially since I requested extra sriracha packets. The price point of the pho was nicely affordable. Overall, I highly recommend going to Binh Duong IV for a delicious bowl of pho. This restaurant does not disappoint when it comes to the satisfaction and taste of the food.

3.5: A casual, unpolished spot for Vietnamese food that's probably better for takeout…read more We stopped here for lunch on a weekend and there were a few customers already dining in and quite a few takeout orders coming in. They had two kinds of pho: one with three types of meat (rare steak, beef balls and brisket -$16) and one with one meat ($15) plus choice of additional protein at either $1 or $2 extra. Both were pretty good but we felt quite thirsty afterward from the sodium and seasonings. We enjoyed the tofu spring rolls (though the tofu was hard to pick out) and the summer rolls. There was a little miscommunication around the pho and what was included, and my pho came out with the wrong type of protein at first. But they fixed it in short order and were nice and accommodating. The actual space looks like a larger Chinese takeout place so nothing special there. There's also a sign that said to seat yourself and then order at the kiosk. The server was there and said he could serve us. But you can save money by just ordering at the kiosk or getting takeout. 3% more on credit card orders too. I guess the prices are what you get these days but felt it, maybe because of the lack of ambiance. The plaza is pretty sad looking, with some empty storefronts and smaller shops like a nail place, pizza, small Greek spot, and a Fresh Grocer. The plus side is parking is easy peasy.

We were craving some sort of Asian cuisine, and I had had DD Thai bookmarked to try, so we headed to the restaurant. The small place was tucked away in a strip mall, just off the highway. We parked the car and managed to get into the restaurant without slipping on the massive amounts of black ice that had accumulated in the lot. The restaurant's decor was lacking in that the booths on the right side of the place had ripped upholstery and the seating on the left side was in better condition, but mismatched. Despite the furniture, the woman running the front of the house was very sweet, and the food was great! We started with the Curry Puff appetizer. The 3 large dumplings had been completely stuffed with a sweet chicken curry, while the fried, flaky exterior was a nice golden brown color and not at all greasy. My Pad See Ew with Chicken was very flavorful and perfectly cooked, though it could have used a tad more sauce. My companion felt the same about his Drunken Noodles, which he similarly scarfed up, though he would have preferred more spice. I have now tried several Thai restaurants in Bergen County and many of them have fallen short on delivering the flavorful impact I would expect from the cuisine. However, DD Thai was definitely one of the better ones in the area!

She repeatedly shouted, "Free Sample! Free Sample!" Between her noticeable voice along with the chunk of meat, she immediately reeled me in. All it took was this free sample and I was hooked! It was piping hot and just prepared on the spot. And the advertisement atop the counter also caught my eye. The $14.99 special deal offers two meats and two sides; this is only a $2 up charge from the single meat and single side plate. The styrofoam to-go plate was overwhelming packed. Although this was a great deal, both proteins and both sides were touching each other. I had assumed I was going to receive two separate styrofoam plates. Regardless of this quirk, I managed to separate everything into two microwavable containers. It made for great leftovers for the next couple of days. General Tso's Chicken/Orange Chicken While both proteins were greatly smothered in their prospective sauces, they tasted practically similar. The original sample satisfied me, but the orange chicken was kind of the same. Vegetables Lo Mein/Vegetables Mei Fun: These style of noodles each complimented the main course. Their texture was different because the lo mein was thicker than the mei fun, but they both tasted identical. While the initial free sample satisfied me, I honestly think I would have been better off sticking to a single meat and side. The Tso's was definitely the pick of the litter. While adding variety seemed like a great idea, it didn't add much in the long run. I also was not fond of both proteins and noodles touching each other. #yongkangstreet #gardenstateplaza #twomeatandtwosidedeal
