We got it with Pastrami and it was more than expected. We choose Sesame bagel, a bit too toasted on the outside but still stayed soft and fluffy with a slight chew. This spot is tucked away in a neat little corner that can be easy to miss but I urge you to give it a shot! Very different from what I'm used to. I wouldn't say they were truly NY style, since they didn't have the chewy outside and less dense, but really liked them. Service was very nice too. Ordered four bagels, but found they snuck in an extra one when I got home :). Very kind. Prices per bagel were really great too. So much better than grocery baked bagels. Only wish I was closer now, but happy to grab a few every time I'm in town. Pro tip: get there early for full menu. As you can see from the list posted, they were out of quite a few by the time I got there at 12:30. I was able to grab a rainbow which is plain but colored, everything with jalapeño and cheese (plus the freebie), cranberry and sesame seed! Since last week I've been left with a craving for pastrami. Was aiming for Beverly Hills this week but Whittier was a whole lot closer to what errands I'd be running today. The wife found this spot which turns out was a wholesale bagel spot which opened to the public few years back. It's more of a pick up and go kind of spot so the only service you get is the cashier and someone bringing your food to the counter. Still friendly and warm. Quiet waiting area other than the gentle music playing on a display with words for you to sing along. As we wait for our food the place keeps getting warmer and warmer. Orders that have been phoned in are getting picked up so seems the get a lot of traffic. Wait time is long so consider ordering ahead. Not as much pastrami as I was expecting but it does pack a lot flavor. I also like the bagel is soft and fresh. My take away? Order ahead. read more

This small little bagel shop is hidden in this generic run down plaza but maybe thats why it's such a gem. My brother went out to pick up breakfast for his gf and the family. He picked up a couple sandwiches and some bagels. I can only speak on the sandwich he brought for me which was the cheddar bagel sandwich with bacon for $7. It was a delicious breakfast sandwich and I wanted another one! Found this through Yelp and the rating was very high, but our visit was disappointing. Primarily the service was very slow, 25 min to get 3 bagels. Of the those only one was enjoyed and the other two were lacking in flavor. The item that was enjoyed was a bacon breakfast bagel on egg bagel with added tomato. Never had cream cheese on breakfast sandwich but was okay, it added more creaminess beyond what cheese can. Worth trying once but I would pass in the future. The egg and bacon were flavorful and carried the sandwich. Egg bagel was a yellow color, could not discern its flavor with the rest of the sandwich flavors. We really like jalapeño and were disappointed with the Jalapeño cheddar bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. Just so little jalapeño flavor. The last bagel was the pepperoni bagel with onion cream cheese. Good for the bites with pepperoni but lacking in the ones that didn't. Probably a better cream cheese to select than onion to pair with pepperoni, so that's on me. read more
