Jalapeno Cheddar breakfast bagel with bacon

This spot is tucked away in a neat little corner that can be easy to miss but I urge you to give it a shot! There is a ton of parking available and their breakfast bagels are top notch and reasonably priced. My bacon breakfast bagel was only 7 dollars! Lovely people all around with great service.

Very impressed with this bagel place. Bagel reminded me of NY, the coffee was great, and there was decent parking. The service was friendly and helpful and the location is small but functional - a lot like bagel restaurants in NY.

Experience and service may differ on a weekday, but expect a WAIT on a weekend morning. We got there and, ordered at 9:30am and food wasn't ready until 10:05am. We were expecting a quick breakfast bagel run, which it was not. Ambiance was a full shop of people waiting for their orders - quiet, hungry people. Definitely a chill vibe. You could come in sweats if needed! However, the wait is well worth it!! The breakfast sandwich (I got it with bacon, lettuce, and avocado). The bagel was fresh and airy, but not necessarily a NY style bagel with a harder outside. I would come again but plan ahead! Show up a little before you're hungry cause you will be waiting!

Stopped by here for the second time today and its delicious. The bagels are soft light and not dense. Had the jalapeño cheddar bagel and the bacon cheddar bagel. Both are really tasty and the jalapeño has a nice kick to it. The employees are very welcoming and kind.

Came around 9am on a Thursday, pretty easy to get parking, the doors on the side and there's not too much space inside to eat so it's more of a to-go spot. Service was quick and easy, they do take Apple Pay which is huge. Ambiance is a little eclectic but that's not the point. Now the bagel is a solid 8.2/10 for $9.50. Bagel was fresh, everything seasoning was a good amount. Could've maybe had a lil more salmon but still good. I'd come back if I was in the area looking for a bagel.

The best breakfast bagel sandwiches in town, the bagels are so soft and taste really good. They have different kinds of ingredients and you can customize your order. I highly recommend them.

I love this place!!! The service is great! The bagels and pastries are amazing! My favorite is the Lox Bagel with everything on it ! It can get busy but it flows quickly.

New York Bagels LA has been a staple for me for years, but I tried one of their breakfast bagels for the first time a few weeks ago and immediately knew I'd be back for another. The bagels are soft, fresh, and the sandwich has the perfect ratio of ingredients every single time. It just hits. And honestly, don't let the exterior fool you. Once you get your food, you genuinely won't care what the place looks like because the bagels speak for themselves. So good.

Lived in Whittier for over 20 years and never was able to try this place. Seems like they were closed every time I drove by and never really thought to stop by for a bagel. Anyway, driving by around 12:30 and saw they were open, so I made a u turn and dropped in. Glad I did! Bagels were not warm, but were fresh. Very Soft and airy. Cream cheese was very light too. Very different from what I'm used to. I wouldn't say they were truly NY style, since they didn't have the chewy outside and less dense, but really liked them. Service was very nice too. Ordered four bagels, but found they snuck in an extra one when I got home :). Very kind. Prices per bagel were really great too. So much better than grocery baked bagels. Only wish I was closer now, but happy to grab a few every time I'm in town. Pro tip: get there early for full menu. As you can see from the list posted, they were out of quite a few by the time I got there at 12:30. I was able to grab a rainbow which is plain but colored, everything with jalapeño and cheese (plus the freebie), cranberry and sesame seed! I prefer plain, so the rainbow and sesame were good alternatives!

The breakfast bagels are amazing! I'm no expert on New York bagels but I will say they make a mighty tasty one here. But that breakfast bagel is ::chefs kiss:: soft and with fresh eggs and a delicious sausage patty. The cashiers are friendly and helpful. this place is a small shop that's kinda hidden but when found a treasure awaits!

Since last week I've been left with a craving for pastrami. Was aiming for Beverly Hills this week but Whittier was a whole lot closer to what errands I'd be running today. The wife found this spot which turns out was a wholesale bagel spot which opened to the public few years back. It's more of a pick up and go kind of spot so the only service you get is the cashier and someone bringing your food to the counter. Still friendly and warm. Quiet waiting area other than the gentle music playing on a display with words for you to sing along. As we wait for our food the place keeps getting warmer and warmer. Orders that have been phoned in are getting picked up so seems the get a lot of traffic. Wait time is long so consider ordering ahead. Not as much pastrami as I was expecting but it does pack a lot flavor. I also like the bagel is soft and fresh. My take away? Order ahead.

Wow these are amazing bagels! I havent had rela NY bagel in NY before bit I would say this may be closest to it. I'd love to try the real one since NY to compare! This small little bagel shop is hidden in this generic run down plaza but maybe thats why it's such a gem. It has the small shop feel with hot heat running through the store, no AC, old fashion signage vibe. Service was decent. The staff, they don't smile. Maybe they're sick of making bagels? Haha well they are amazing at making them! Every morning a great morning for bagels, smile!!! I'm already thinking about the bagel I'll curate for my next visit!

My brother went out to pick up breakfast for his gf and the family. He picked up a couple sandwiches and some bagels. I can only speak on the sandwich he brought for me which was the cheddar bagel sandwich with bacon for $7. It was a delicious breakfast sandwich and I wanted another one! The bagel was nice and chewy, bacon crunchy, and eggs fluffy. It was a thick sandwich with lots of flavor. I would definitely like to come myself and check out more of their bagels!

I initially got it because curry chicken sandwiches always have a sweet element and most places do raisins or apples. Here, they did peach, and I was like, 'damn. I want to try this.' But when I bit into it, the star of the freaking show was the peppercini!! What!??! That vinegary balance with a tiny kick. Mmmm, yeah. Super good that I ate way too much in one sitting.

Sandwiches are quite large, big enough to split between 2 people if I'm being honest, but nothing I would complain about. Egg salad was great, never felt heavy despite how large it was, but I also enjoyed the Uptown Club, thickly stacked with each component but felt wholly balanced with whatever was pickled and the tomato. I did find the meatball side to be simultaneously too salty and too sweet, even though you would figure these would cancel out. I did enjoy the looseness of the actual meatball, and the crispy shallots on top were a wonderful addition. Would love to revisit, would be a perfect pit stop for any picnic or lunch occasion.

The lady who helped me at the register was very nice as well and great at giving recommendations! I will say though, I got the ham and cheese breakfast croissant and I was not a fan. I ordered it hot, but the outside was only slightly warm when I got it and it was very cold on the inside. Portion wise it was pretty big so portions are worth it I guess, it just wasn't my cup of tea. I think there's some sort of sauce in it, I am not exactly sure, but I just didn't like the flavor! I think I'll just stick to the drinks for when I come!! The inside was really cute and very clean. I like how they have the cup holders at their stations by the trash can that way you don't have to ask or if you want an extra it's there!
