Chicken and fish maw broth is packed with flavor. It's also their most popular and highly recommended broth. It has the diced chicken, fish maw, jujubes and lily flower buds. The broth is rich in flavor yet great in simplicity. You can tell that they put a lot of love into making it. The set comes with Chinese yam, squash, white fungus and noodles. You can order additional items à la carte to add to your broth. We ordered king oyster mushrooms, enoki mushrooms and the shiitake mushrooms pulled with shrimp paste. They also have a sauce bar for any of the food you cook in the broth, but the broth was so amazing and delicious we didn't even visit the sauce bar during our dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is a decent size. Lots of tables of various sizes. There are tables various sizes around. The perception was the shrimp would wrap the mushroom but it came out the other way being the mushroom wrapping the shrimp. It wasn't that tasty, I guess it was the only dish that disappointed. We got the chicken and fish maw dinner set for $49.99. The price may seem steep, but when you think about it, the soup takes 10 hours to cook to achieve that rich and flavorful taste. If you order the set meal for two, it is already very filling. It came with chicken, fish maw, white fungus, nagaimo, pumpkin slices, and noodles. We also ordered the mushroom set (I think it was $21.99), which turned out to be way too much food for both of us, but we loved it. I really enjoyed the broth. Just as advertised, it was delicious on its own and perfect for dipping all the food in. Their sauce spread was also very good, with fruit add-ins available for free. Honestly, I do not think they even need the sauce bar because the soup itself is that good. As for the service, I would say it really depends on who you get. The hot pot here is 4 stars- the collagen rich chicken broth is so golden it's unbelievable. The ingredients are all high quality, pricey but you get what you pay for. Not crazy about the pumpkin and snow fungus as part of their hot pot package though, pumpkin changes the texture and color of the broth which can be unappetizing. The noodles that come with it though are really good, perfect amount of chew and slurpy goodness. Where they lost major points was the service. First there was one guy there who had the worst RBF (resting b face) who looked SO irritated when we asked him for anything. The guy just oozes "I'm too good for this " energy. It was noticeable to multiple people in our party. The other servers although they didn't have such attitude, were not attentive at all and had to be flagged down for every little thing, we had to ask them 3 separate times to refill our broth. For the prices they charge I just expected better service. I get much much better service at the buffet style hotpot places - the fast foods of hotpot. Small thing that also bothered me was them using disposable plastic cups for our drinks. They have a fairly limited selection vis-a-vis other hot pot places, but everything is fresh and tasty. The sauce station is very comprehensive as well, with a few free dishes such as kimchi and various fruits. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I finally did with a friend back in December. Unfortunately there was a water main break that day but despite that, staff was super accommodating and bought bottled water to keep hotpot going My friend and I are both vegetarian so we order the chili pot. I have to say the sauce bar was the best part of the meal for me and I was pretty disappointed with the vegetarian selection. I like everything we got, especially the soup base was amazing. Service was good and they allowed us to bring home the leftovers soup. The variety of appetizers is more the average hot pot restaurants. However, their lunch special is quite confusing, they told us that we all have to pick the same soup base, but I found out the table next to us was able to choice two different soup base between the 2 of them! I was like, what just happened. Also the lunch menu said rice included, but we were charged for our rice, which is not a big deal, but yet, another confusion. The soup base was so good that basically whatever you cook in it tastes wonderful. My love for hotpot if fairly divided for all styles of hot pot, ayce, seafood, quality alc etc. Love their coconut chicken soup base and the chicken fish maw. Both amazing options with quality ingredients. Some of the prices are marked up unfairly but I know what I came here for. Majority of the time, their service is awful except for this one friendly server, that goes above and beyond. The aisles are spacious but the booths could be bigger. Seating is cozy with petite ladies and a wide spread of food. The sauce bar has the variety you'll need to make your go-to sauce. The chicken, mostly dark meat chopped into pieces, cooks well and the longer you leave it in the pot the better it is. Everything else is kind of irrelevant but feel free to get sides to throw into the soup for hotpot use. Finish off the meal with their house noodles and it's the perfect end to their meal. AYCE fruits and snacks at the sauce bar is good too but that's like going to Fogo and only eat from their salad bar. I've been here several times with family and we always order the chicken and fish maw broth. I live in California, but they do not have a branch there (yet, hopefully!), so I try to visit at least once each time I am in town. The servers are friendly, and the food is great. The collagen broth is particularly rich and flavorful, but the chicken broth refill is pretty good too. We sometimes have leftovers, so we take it home and add in Asian noodles and other veggies into the soup at home. Overall, I would definitely highly recommend. Stumbled upon this gem when I was around the area for a wedding. At first, I was shocked by the exorbitant price of the broths but the broth itself can be a meal. For a party of 3, we got 2 servings of the chicken with fish maw (gotta get that collagen in!). The combo itself came with noodles, Chinese yam, pumpkin, and white fungus. We added an order of the mushroom and vegetable platter, tofu skin, and frozen tofu. The soup is beautiful to look at and super flavorful. Service here is AMAZING - super attentive. We ordered chicken in coconut soup this time and it didnt taste as good as the fish maw in chicken soup. The waiter was ok not very attentive but he at least respond to us when we ask. But the waitress was horrible, we asked her to add soup she never did, we asked her to cut the fish maw and she necer did. She even asked us to not move the little cart next to us cause it will be in the way so we had to keep getting up to get our food.
