Love the mission of this place. Happen to be there for lunch at noon and for the national anthem. The cashier was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. He let us taste any meat we wanted before ordering. Because of that I ended up with the brisket and was quite happy with my choice. Went to lunch , looking for a bbq place, and landed on mission bbq and was not disappointed whatsoever.We were immediately greeted and brightened the mood. The food was so flavorful, along with the sauces that they provide. The service was superb , Mike went above and beyond to let us know that if we needed anything he was the guy to goto. We got a brisket combo, and a pulled pork sandwich combo and it came to around $30 but the atmosphere along with the flavor of the food, it definitely was worth the splurge. will definitely be coming back! read more

Pretty predictable. I would give it 3 1/2 stars if I could, but I can't. I understand good help is hard to find these days, and our counter person who helped us pretty much just pushing buttons on the machine. Portions, were a little small. Green beans and bacon were sold as fresh but tasted like they were out of the can with some bacon grease added. The baked beans were fantastic. Cornbread was good. I love their soda, fountain and choices. but overall the cost far exceeds the value here. The barbecue meat was good, but there's more to an experience in a restaurant nowadays than just good meat. No one tries harder to please than the good folks at Mission Barbecue. And they back it up with good, simple barbecue at very reasonable prices. I got the pulled pork and really enjoyed it. They have a lot of different sauces and I liked them all. Very sweet which is enjoy. Corn bread was perfect and the baked beans were so yummy. Their sauces are excellent. Everyone in our family has their own favorite ranging from sweet to spicy. The staff members genuinely seem happy to be there and happy to serve guests. Their visible support for police, FD, and veterans is admirable. We've been to several of the chain's locations and find this particular location to be best of the best. The general manager's daughter, Grace, is a gem. Smart kid with a deep understanding of the restaurant business and a natural flair for retail customer service. One pays for each side separately; although you are asked what side you would like - as if it's included with meal. Be careful, price could add up quickly. We saw a tank with two American flags on it that said mission bbq and followed it home. Random encounter. We made our own little parade. Now it's our new favorite place. Patches and pictures everywhere of veterans and servicemen and men and women in uniform. Excellent bbq and choice of sauces. All GF!!! Fries gf. Amazing corn on the cob. Veterans galore. You can bring a patch or picture of your family member and they will put it up by any booth you want and you can ask to be seated there in honor of your family.
