I went to them because they offered the fairest prices in the area for what appeared to be the best quality service based on the reviews, and their website has a specialty section for wedding gowns so I trusted that they had cleaned one or two before. The lady who works there is super sweet and when I got my gown back she charged me less than the quoted price. The dress looks spotless and is in pristine condition. Great dry cleaners! Susana is very friendly, and helpful. I brought a bridesmaid dress in because the hem was dirty from walking around a garden for the wedding photos and the hook loop on the back came undone. Susana sewed that back on for free, she said reattaching buttons are free too, cool! I dropped off the dress on Wednesday afternoon and it was ready by Friday but I was busy and picked it up Saturday instead. They hold onto your items for 30 days. So plenty of time to pick them up! It's literally located in the corner or Mission and Garfield which I pass by all the time but never noticed that it was a cleaners. Now I feel like whenever I need help with hemming something or cleaning something, I will always go to Mission Cleaners. Susanna was such a nice lady to me. I went on a Saturday and she told me that my clothes will be ready by Tuesday. That's super quick! Even though I only needed my dress hemmed by like 3 inches. I don't know how much other places charge but the original pricing of it was $15. Given that it was my first time coming here, I got 10% for first timers. WOW. I have never written a negative review but this one is warranted. I communicated with this business through Yelp messaging. I need to get my suit tailored for my upcoming wedding and the reviews led me to believe Mission Cleaner would be a good choice. I just called to confirm I would be coming today for a fitting and talked with Suzanna K, the same person I talked with through Yelp messenger. I called saying that I was confirming my appointment and Suzanna claimed that she never talks through Yelp, did not talk to me, was very rude, and hung up on me. Attached is part of our conversation which clearly states her name. Unless the Yelp page for this business is being run by someone else not associated with the business, I can't think of any reason why a customer would be treated so terribly. I bought a gown through Amazon and it was too long. In addition, there were a few basic changes I was looking to complete: close the slit with the overlaying fabric and make modifications to the sleeves. Upon arriving the main lady was friendly and she directed me to try on the dress, which I did. I left the back of the dress undone as it's corseted and I required assistance. The seamstress didn't know how to tie it and the main lady and I had to show her how. Then she asked me how much I wanted to cut the dress to which I responded she was the professional so I was hoping she would know the appropriate length to cut. We conversed a bit and determined the length but it took the seamstress multiple tries to get the right length, or so I thought. We then discussed closing the back of my slit which she pinned while I had the dress on. When I asked about modifying the sleeves, I wasn't done explaining what I wanted when she shut me down and stated it was too hard for her. I was charged $80 because I was told the dress had multiple layers. When I picked up the dress, I wasn't able to try it on but when I got home, I realized how uneven the hem was. In addition the stitch closing the back of the slit doesn't fall naturally, instead there's a pocket that droops. Despite the main lady there being polite, I found the seamstress to be short and unpleasant. read more

I've only checked in here twice, but the lady that handles all the orders and clothing is incredibly nice. She ensures that the services that are provided get fulfilled and executed properly. I noticed that a stitch was not complete as there were still tiny holes and she immediately said she would take it back and have her person revisit the stitches to fix. I have dry cleaned all sorts of clothes and I have not had one come back with stains that I pointed out when I dropped off my clothes. Highly recommend. There's a yelp deal that allows you to get $1 off when you pay. Also, I think there's an extra charge on the credit card for any orders below $15! I went on the Yelp reviews and chose to take my alpaca sweater here for a minor repair. The seamstress did an excellent job patching a hole under the left arm. I had told the woman at the counter that I didn't want the sweater dry cleaned, just repaired. I paid and took the sweater out to my car. When I got to my car, I could tell that something didn't seem right, so I took the sweater out of the plastic and put it on. I was seriously dismayed to find that it was now thinner, and longer in the arms and in the body of the sweater. What happened to my cozy, plush, perfect fitting sweater?!! I went back inside and showed the results to the woman at the counter. She told me that she steamed the sweater because it was in a ball after being repaired. I showed her that it is now too long in the arms, and fit differently all over. She shrugged her shoulders, did not offer an apology or any reparation - not that any could suffice since the sweater was not only expensive but had great sentimental value. I told her that I felt very sad. She said nothing. I went back out to my car and cried. That woman is apparently ignorant of how to care for sweaters. Well deserved 5 stars. The owner is a very elegant lady who provides all customers with excellent services. I have been coming to this cleaner since a year ago. The owner remembers my name even though I do not come in often. There was a time I want to wash a canvas messenger bag, and the owner was not sure if it can be washed. She said that she will give me a call after she check with her staff. She called me back and told me that they cannot complete the job as they do not want to mess up my bag. I respect that. It also means that they will not force to complete a job for more business ($$$). There was another time that I took my blazer in for dry clean. When I go pick up the blazer. The owner politely asked if she can send the blazer in for another wash as she believed that they did not do a good job. She wants to make sure that I was not in a rush of needing my blazer. I have no idea what the stains were or how long they had been there. I went to other dry cleaners and they turned me away telling me that there's nothing they can do. Sometimes a business will impress me so much that I know i"ll be giving them 5 stars before I even get their product/food/service. This is one of those times. I stopped by today tog et my dress shirt cleaned and pressed, and not only was the lady very professional and nice(even though I came in wearing sweats and having just gotten out of bed). She was extremely friendly and helpful. I told her exactly when I needed the shirt, and she was very transparent on what she could and could not do, and why. I ended up being able to pick the shirt up in one day in the afternoon, which is very reasonable. She also was kind enough to point out all the discounts they offered, like 10% off the first shirt and $1 off if you use Yelp, which is a huge deal for me because I feel like I've had way too many experiences where the business will not tell you about a discount unless you directly ask for it.
