This review is long overdue! Now that I'm moving yet again I realize I never reviewed Mission Movers from my previous move (1 year ago). I had a unique situation where I needed to move on pretty much zero notice. I had to have my house moved and ready for a Super Bowl party, but didn't get the keys to my new house until the Thursday before. I thought I would have them Tuesday so I had to reschedule movers two different times and called these guys last minute. Jeremiah said he could fit me in whatever day I got my keys and was on standby for me. When I called him Thursday he sent guys over as soon as possible. They worked fast and had awesome attitudes the whole time, even though they ended up working super late. I wouldn't have been able to pull it all off without them! I have moved 6 times in the last 10 years. Never did I expect this standard of excellence in a moving company. Nothing short of impressive, the best moving experience ever. Every single member of the crew was highly professional, intelligent, caring, and extremely polite. They broke and scratched nothing! At one point I walked into the laundry room and found two crew members talking and messing with the washer/dryer that they had just brought upstairs. I thought that they had broken something. They were hooking up both machines (water and electric) to the new house and making sure that both machines were level so as not to vibrate when they were turned on. Seriously! Who does this? I despise moving so I've put it off for 3 years... well the time finally came. I had a huge sectional couch and tons of boxes and bedroom furniture that little old me did not feel like moving herself. I saw all the great Yelp reviews and decided to call Mission Movers. Joe and Angel were AWESOME! They wrapped my couch and precious items and safely moved them out and down a flight of narrow stairs. My husband and I were moving into our first home so I was pretty high strung. I booked with Mission Movers over a month in advance and Jeremiah was patient and professional with me each week I confirmed leading up to the big day. The morning of our move, Jeremiah texted me to let me know their ETA and even offered coffee, which I thought was nice. Omar and Alex were our movers that day. They took a quick peek at our current space to confirm what needed to be moved and got right to work. I was amazed on how they carried everything rather than rolling our items on a dolly down the stairs which I have seen movers do in the past. Our neighbors must have appreciated this since it made less noise. They were able to take apart furniture and reassemble it, they deducted for their lunch time and took stuff we no longer wanted to the Salvation Army for us. They charged a flat fuel rate of $20 and the total cost was totally reasonable. All in all, I was very impressed by Mission Movers! Omar and Alex worked well as a team and were very professional and careful with our items. Really great team of young guys who work well together and protected everything well (padded & wrapped). Moved mostly big furniture items just across town ( Tustin to Irvine). A lot of expensive woods & leathers and they took great care handling everything. Showed up on time, worked hard all day and even graciously moved a few things up-to-down & vice versa. What an easy move of our small office! Contacted Jeremiah and he was able to get us an appointment even during busy moving season. Trevon and Tyler showed up on time, took a look around, and said it would be no problem. They were very careful with our furniture and equipment, and so efficient they got it done under our original time estimate. They even asked if there was anything else we wanted moved in our new office to accommodate the space. Couldn't have asked for a better company to work with and they were very nice. There is a reason this company has so many 5 star ratings....they are FANTASTIC!!!! First, Jeremiah is great. He is quick to respond to any and all issues. We had to push back our move date one day (at the last minute) and he was able to get it done. He follows up, which is very rare nowadays. Chris, Trevo, Tyler, Cody and Nick showed up at the exact time scheduled. These guys really worked hard! Can't say enough about how professional, efficient, and careful they were with our stuff. They wrapped all the furniture very well so we had no nicks or scrapes - and we have a LOT of stuff. Someone had a pedometer and they logged over 10 miles that day. This is my second time hiring Mission Movers and I'm definitely satisfied with the outcome of the whole process. Jerimiah is the owner and is super cool. He is your first point of contact and makes you feel at ease when requesting a quote. Prices are reasonable and fair. They are friendly, prompt, give courtesy calls, and take good care of your belongings. The two guys that showed up were Joe and Thor. They offered to pick me up some coffee and donuts during the courtesy call which I found was very considerate. I have large, heavy furniture and they did not complain once, and even showed gratitude when I assisted (my choice to assist). Jerimiah personally came to my apartment at 9pm last night because I had thought my bed was broken. I called him in a panic yesterday morning and he showed up that same night and everything was all good (bed was not broken). I really appreciated all those little things. I am finally getting around to reviewing Mission Movers, as they have moved my family 3 times since 2014. Each time has been a great experience from scheduling to the actual move day. The crew usually consist of 2-3 young men who have been very attentive and detailed with each of our moves in Irvine. ALEX, NOLAN AND BUD (Real Name) were THE BEST MOVERS I EVER HAD! They are the DREAM TEAM from Mission Movers for sure. I had to move my family 2 times in 2 weeks. I couldn't get these guys for the first move because we were on a tight timeline and they were booked up for an entire week.(speaks to the fact that they are so good and busy) And had the WORST experience with another moving company ("Moving Specialists" - http://movingspecialist.powersites.net/) The Setup: Jeremiah was very understanding and worked with me as I had to adjust and readjust our move dates and finally we settled on Sunday, 3/16/14. The Move: Alex, Nolan and Bud pulled up in the "BEAST" and we just hit it off from there! They were courteous, FAST and detail oriented as they moved and packed the truck. They did everything that was required of them and even went above and beyond in moving just 3 items to our temporary home. Once we got to the storage unit we just had fun unloading and playing tetris with my furniture. It was an absolute pleasure in working with these gentlemen! One TIP for those that will be using these guys: If you can, go with 3 movers. While Alex and Nolan moved and hauled the furniture, Bud was neatly putting everything away in a systematic order. It was totally worth it. These guys busted out this job so fast. At the end of it I wanted them to stick around, have a few beers and just kick it. It was that fun even though it was all business. I'm going to be picking up my family of 5, hopefully, in the next few months and moving into a permanent home. What can I say... These guys are amazing!!!! Save yourself the hassle and the heartache and hire these guys!!! For our original moving day we hired another company (Big Mistake!!!) Firstly they arrived 5 hours late then it took them 5 hours to move 5 pieces of furniture, one of which they damaged. It was 10pm that night and I was distraught! We still had a house full of furniture left at our old house. Paid this company over $400 for a move that wasn't even complete! That night we slept on a plastic covered mattress on the floor as the rest of our bed was still at the old house. I woke up and found Mission Movers on Yelp. I got Jeremiah (the owner) on the phone and asked what they charged? He told me the cost however informed me that they were booked up ahead of time. I went on to explained the situation to him and he told me that he really felt for us and that he would add our job on as an addition for the end of the night. They arrived at our place at 7pm that night with 2 men (Alex and Nicholas) and a truck, and to my surprise Jeremiah the owner as well! They said sit back and relax, don't worry we will knock this out for you. I couldn't believe my eyes they were so fast and efficient, not to mention they shrink wrapped everything to avoid damage!!! They had us completely moved in 3 hours! We can't thank Mission Movers enough for what they did for us. Thank you guys for saving us and a job well done! You guys are amazing! Today was moving day for my daughter and I can't imagine how it would have turned out without Mission Movers. Jeremiah the owner was amazing, professional and personable. He brought along Joe, Tyler and Dominic who were all unbelievable. They all made the move, if I dare to say "fun". They helped with any and everything we needed. Joe went with me to get more boxes and tape, they all helped make , and label the boxes, wrapped all the fragile items with so much care, carried out the loads of trash for us and were seriously the strongest group of men I have ever seen. OK, I have to admit I was skeptical at first when I saw that any mover so consistently received 5-star ratings from customers since most of the time, one outfit is worse than the next. Once I spoke with Jeremiah who was a nice guy with very straightforward answers to my questions, my attitude began to change. I booked mission movers for a move from San Diego to the SF Bay Area because of all the great reviews I read here on yelp. To say they didn't disappoint would not cover it. I was honestly blown away by their professionalism and courtesy at every end of the process. First, booking with Jeremiah was a friendly easy process. The communication was totally transparent and honest. No hidden fees. The price was fantastic and he was very accommodating in working me into their schedule. Second, the actual movers, Mike and Kyle were fantastic. They were so polite and friendly. They worked fast and clean. I appreciated the great manners as they were moving my moms stuff and she can be on the sensitive side. She absolutely loved them. Mike was great about updating me regarding their location and estimated arrival time. Kyle pulled out tools and put things together quickly and efficiently. Didn't get to work with Mission Movers as they were completely booked for my move day and the day after; however, jeremiah asked me to forward my cell phone info to him and he would refer another company to help that he was sure would do a good job. Within a minute of my text to him I received names and phone numbers for 5 other movers. 15 minutes later I had my moving arrangements made. We moved last Saturday, and this wasn't an easy one- many large, heavy items to be moved into a 3-story hillside home with limited access. Mission came through again! Jeremiah, Niko and crew moved my household and after truly horrible past experiences with movers, I relied on other Yelpers to find a decent moving company. Mission Movers exceeded all expectations and made the move so smooth and easy! I had to move into a home under construction, it was a nightmare but they truly made bad situation into a good one. On moving day I had been up all night with last minute packing and was a basket case by the time they arrived. The took care of everything including packing up items too large and heavy to deal with. We stopped off at a furniture consignment store to drop off some unwanted items and they talked me into consigning an item I was going to toss in the trash. That netted me an additional $100.00....thank you so much! We then stopped at a last minute storage unit to drop off items to make living under construction a little easier. They had everything packed into the unit quicker than I could get to the office to sign paperwork! At one point one of the movers came to me with a piece of jewelry that had fallen out of one of the boxes. These movers are honest and trustworthy and are extremely hard working with team camaraderie! Best of all they smiled (Niko don't ever change and keep smiling) and had great attitudes which was infectious and just what I needed with all the stress. The last moving company I used all grumbled non-stop and clearly did not want to be working. They put boxes clearly marked in the wrong rooms and damaged multiple items. Anyone who has gone through a move knows how stressful it can be and this company changed my view about moving companies! Best moving service I've ever experienced--and I've moved 8 times in the last decade. Dom, AC, Jamie and Tommy were excellent. They were on-time, super efficient, extra helpful and careful with taking down my daughter's nursery furniture, my bedroom set and moving a heavy couch from a loft area. Not only are they professional but they are on time and went above and beyond to make my move as easy as possible. To make a long story short as they were packing up my mattress and frame I realized that I was in need of a new frame. They were so kind as to follow me to a mattress store to buy a new frame and loaded it in the truck and also put it together for me at my new place. Now that is what I call accommodation.
