Max (the owner ) and his crew were nothing short of spectacular! From the initial quote to the follow up and communication, these guys went above and beyond customer service. This review is about 3 weeks overdue. I reached out to PortFlex about my move and was immediately responded to by Max. I was super impressed and honestly it was one of the reasons I went with them over a company my family recommended as I didn't have to wait for a phone call to go over all the details to get a general price on what my move would cost. They were super affordable and I loved the minimum was lower than most companies even though I figured I would need the movers for 4-5 hours probably, I liked knowing I had that flexibility. The day of the move John and Tyler showed up. Max had already told me who my movers would be that morning and a little bit about them (Tyler was his brother and hard working and John the driver moved quickly). Max was spot on with that. They loaded up the truck in record time with boxes (the furniture took a bit longer but still super quick!). When it came to unloading I figured it would be longer considering my new place has stairs and boy was I wrong, they were even quicker! They had accidentally forgotten screws for a piece of furniture at my old place and offered to come back later to put it together once they were done for the day. It wasn't necessary as I could easily do it myself but they went above and beyond to try to remedy the issue which was a minor one to me. 10/10 customer service and I plan to recommend them to anyone looking for movers! read more

This is gonna be a long review but I just gotta brag about how amazing my move was and experience was! 10000/10 recommend! If you're considering choosing Portflex please read this!: THANK YOU MAX!!! I didn't get the other persons name but I thank them too! I recently lost my job and had to be out of my home of 5 years before the end of this month so I had a pretty strict budget. I spoke with about 10 moving companies who all quoted me a high hourly rate and non negotiable 3 hour minimum to move my 3 things: a queen size mattress, a dresser, and possibly my TV. No one was willing to work with my budget & I was told by mainly all of them that their pricing was more than fair and would be the "lowest" I'd find. One company quoted me a "more than fair" $800 / 3 hour MINIMUM (they should be ashamed of themselves) and recommended I look on task rabbit/Craigslist, or go to Home Depot to find random people to help me because no moving company would be willing to work with my budget (which wasn't unreasonable btw, it's not like I was asking them to move my things for for $100 ). The stress was so overwhelming and I felt like I had no choice but to just sell all my things but then I got a message from Max! I was over messaging any moving companies at this point so I just told Max my situation, my budget, what I was moving, and did not expect anything to come of it since the last 10 people didn't work out . Right off the bat Max showed compassion and understanding for what I was going through and instead of immediately turning me away, he offered to work with me and my budget which was absolutely amazing of him! Throughout the whole process he was more than patient and helpful with all my questions/concerns, was so friendly/personable, communicative & in constant contact up until the move & the day of. They arrived on time and in 30 minutes my things had been safely wrapped and loaded onto the truck! They weren't able to get my bed frame down which was totally fine as I knew it would be difficult in a townhome so I intended to dismantle/move it myself & I had only planned for them to move the mattress anyways. Max noticed some other larger items I had completely forgotten about like my giant mirror, my rug, and my nightstand that is really heavy & full of stuff, and offered to bring them along for me, he even helped me carry some smaller stuff to my car! It was about a 30-35 minute drive to my childhood home and unfortunately/embarrassingly I didn't have time to move everything out of my old room I was now moving back into which I felt bad and nervous about in case it made things harder for them but Max (being the awesome person he is) again was so understanding and still went ABOVE AND BEYOND by wrapping up the old mattress & moving it into another room, helping move things out that I didn't want in there, and even fixed my sheets when putting on the new mattress (the little things matter!) , he also offered to set up my rug under the bed frame that was already in there after they had already put my mattress on. We couldn't do it because there was stuff under the bed but the fact that he offered was just amazing! The whole move took 2 hours and came out to be less than my original budget! They took amazing care of my things and were very careful moving everything especially the big items! The whole experience with Portflex OC Moving was absolutely incredible and I'm still in disbelief that Max made this happen for me! They have lifted a HUGE weight off my shoulders and gave me a moment to breathe, I am so so so incredibly grateful. I 100000000000% recommend hiring Portflex if you or anyone you know is moving!
