These guys are incredible! I just recently moved from Costa Mesa to San Francisco and was struggling to find movers that would give me a decent quote. When I found Mission Movers on here and saw all of their positive reviews, I thought I'd give them a try. Their quote was $500+ cheaper than any other I could find, so I went for it. I could not be happier with the results. Gavin and Charles showed up on-time with their truck and got to work right away, hauling my belongings with masterful speed and expert caution (in 90* heat too!). They took great care with my big items (sectional couch, antique pie safe, dresser, glass-topped coffee tables, bookshelves, fridge), thoroughly wrapping each one with blankets and saran wrap. They loaded and organized all of my stuff within two hours, planning to hit the road to SF early the following morning. When they got to my new place in SF, after 8 hours of driving, they were able to unload with the same ease and expertise as the load-in. Those of you who are familiar with the houses in SF will know that the narrow hallways, steep stairways, and such make for difficult furniture moving. These guys didn't skip a beat. Just like the load-in, my stuff was all unloaded and assembled within two hours. I was thoroughly impressed. Mission Movers are experts at what they do. If guys like Gavin and Charles are moving your stuff, you know they will handle it with extreme caution and great attitudes. If ever I move back to Southern California, I will without a doubt use these guys again. I called Mission Movers with short notice on a pretty difficult move from Newport Beach to Orange. The difficult part was an oversized couch that had to be lowered three stories off a small balcony because it didn't fit in my condo's elevator. Jeremaih and team showed up on time and went straight to work. My furniture and belongs were carefully packed, blanket wrapped, and shrink wrapped for protection. I had Jacob and Jeremiah show up to move my 2 bedroom apt and i would recommend both these guys. Not only did they show up on time but called me to let me know they were on there way. The last company I used took so long and tried to get every dollar from me but not these guys. You basically call these guys and your move is in there hands, you don't have to worry about a thing. The first time I used Mission Movers (September 2014), I chose them because of their Yelp rating, their reasonable rates, and a conversation that I had with Jeremiah over the phone. I ordered a 4-person crew, and they worked 11 hours (until 8 pm) moving a HUGE truckload of stuff to 2 locations. Long story short, NONE of my property was damaged and only a small table suction cup was lost (but they reimbursed me for that). Alex and his crew was very professional, efficient (truck loading managed by ex-military), and provided a level of customer service that is above and beyond what one would normally expect from a moving company. Today was my second time using Mission Movers (4-person crew to help my parents move stuff to 2 locations), and again their level of service and dedication to customer satisfaction is nothing less of exemplary. This was the best moving experience we have ever had, and we were moving into a 3rd story condo with no elevator on the hottest day of the year! Brock, Tommy and Timothy were always upbeat, never complained and I had to sometimes demand they take breaks since it was so hot outside. These were the hardest working guys I've ever had move me! They were supposed to come at 9am and guess what...it started pouring. I got a call from Shawn saying that they'll be coming on time. I was like "are you guys sure you wanna do it?...its raining outside". They sounded determined and they showed up on time, wrapped most of our stuff quickly & carefully and loaded/unloaded as if weather was not the factor for them at all. Both Jake & Shawn were nice and very professional. During our move, my bookshelf lost a hinge or something and it lost stability. I wouldn't completely blame these guys for cheap walmart / ikea stuff with black cardboard holding the entire assembly. Still, Jeremiah was nice enough to offer me money or fix it by himself.
