CREW: Tim - Tyler - Dominic - Aaron - Tommy These guys are professional, efficient, easy to communicate with and hella strong!! Tim called as they were driving down and showed up on time. The whole crew came up to our 2nd floor condo, introduced themselves, assessed the space, asked me about the furniture, verified our needs, told me about their process and quickly got to work. We were moving from a 3 room condo. The biggest stress was having so much stuff since we had a toddler and how will these guys navigate large furniture and a giant car bed??? These GUYS protected our belongings securely with blankets and wrap. They even teamed together to lower several pieces of heavy bulky furniture over the 2nd floor railing! I had gained full confidence in their ability to do the work! They take their job very seriously. What I liked most was that the CREW offered recommendations and best practices for us - from the old place and at new place. I trusted their opinion. They were good at spacing and showing us how our furniture would best fit. Tommy and Dominic were miracle workers in getting a very large car bed down a hallway into a narrow turn of my toddlers room. At first I wondered if we'd have to sell the bed. BUT these guys navigated the space - without breaking anything! Each of these guys were AWESOME for their individuality. They each hustled and gave us 100%. I hired Mission Movers to move from Carlsbad to Santa Barbara. Jeremiah (the owner) came to my apartment and performed an accurate cost estimate (he showed up right on time too!). When I had to make some changes to the move, he was quick to adjust the estimate accordingly. On the day of the move, Alex, Gavin, Nico and Thomas showed up on time, were courteous, friendly, and handled my belongings with care (all of which arrived safely). More importantly, perhaps, these guys were good people. I lived at a complex that shared space with a daycare, and I actually saw one of the guys put down a stack of boxes in order to help a young mom carry her stroller up some stairs. To me that is what integrity looks like, and it made me realize how fortunate I was to have them help me relocate. The following day I got a call directly from Mission Movers to let me know that they are going to refund the differences for the moving time that was under the quote. I was really surprised that a company would go so far and beyond for customer service. I am a frequent Yelp reader, although I've never posted a review, and I'm always skeptical of overly enthusiastic reviews. But the four men who helped me relocate exceeded all my expectations, and they have my deepest appreciation. So hats off to Mission Movers! This review is WAY overdue. I've hired Mission Movers twice to help me move. Each time my experience has been amazing. Both times have been to help me move into a one bedroom apartment.  In spring of 2017 I had Gavin, Babbin, and Josh help me move. In spring of 2018 I had Gavin, Cody, and Nick as my movers. First off, aside from being some of the nicest guys, they took amazing care of my stuff. Nothing was broken.  They move fast and efficiently. Before I knew it, everything was ready to go in the truck.  The thing that impressed me the most though was their attention to detail and level of service. Seriously, I don't know anyone who raves about their movers. I recommend them to everyone. Moving is already such a pain, but then having to trust all of your belongings with complete strangers makes it even more nerve wracking. Furthermore, I'm a single woman living on her own and I move by myself each time. Each time I felt comfortable and completely at ease. I felt taken care of as a customer.  They book up quickly so make sure you plan ahead to schedule them. That's their only downside! They do such a good job that their availability is limited. As long as I'm living in Orange County, I will continue to use Mission Movers. There's no one else I can trust with my move besides them. read more

These guys are excellent!!! This is the 3rd time I have used them and every time has been outstanding. For this move I was relocating from Moreno Valley to Orange. Jeremiah was quick to respond and helped me set up a night move for 10/8. When I was able to get the whole day off on 10/8 I called him to let him know and he immediately responded with "This is fantastic! I have a crew that is finishing up early and will send them your way". My 3 movers-Gavin, Christian and Todd (?) showed up at 1:30PM. My apartment was loaded into their truck in 45 mins! We were able to get on the road and to my new location before traffic and they had my stuff unloaded in about 45 mins as well. Don't be scared by the quick time, I don't have too much stuff and was really organized. That being said these guys are careful, quick and accommodating. They wrapped all my furniture, helped me take down some things from my walls and delivered everything to my new house unbroken. Once in my new place they even reassembled my sectional couch. I can't say enough positive things about my movers and this company. I will never move myself again! My entire move was done in about 3 hours (remember drive time was about 1 hour) and when you pay in cash you get a 10% discount. My total was less than $600 and worth every dollar. read more

Above and beyond from before they even started! I was told to anticipate the crew between 9-9:30 a.m. I got a call from Dom at about a quarter to 9 letting me know their ETA. Dom, Thor, Cody, and Nick all came in and introduced themselves then got straight to work. I have a too much stuff. Too much. They loaded, delivered and unloaded in two hours less than I anticipated. They even warned me it would be done sooner before we left Irvine. They had to unload in San Clemente on an incline, avoid power lines and then come down some awkward stairs to get to my place. I have two Shih-tzus and a High Quality Cat. They were SO careful to make sure the pets did not get accidentally let out. They even said hello and gave some scratches out when they met the dogs. Their work ethic, diligence and general concern for my belongings were amazing. But more than that, they worked together as such a great team which took my the stress out of my move for me. I HIGHLY recommend these movers. Jeremiah promised and OVER delivered. I'm so glad I trusted the reviews on Yelp and I intend to use them again when I clear out my photography studio later in the year. Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Jeremiah worked with me to schedule my move even though I was a bit last minute. He even sent me a list of referrals when he was unsure if he'd be able to fit me in. He is a great communicator and I always understood what was going on. My two movers - Brad and Kyle - were wonderful the entire day. They called an hour ahead and again when they arrived and they arrived on time. They were fast, efficient, personable, and very pleasant to work with. They got even better after sitting in traffic from LA to San Diego, my new apartment's elevator broke and Brad and Kyle had to immediately shift gears and bring everything up stairs to the third floor. They handled this unfortunate situation so well and remained extremely pleasant and kind (and I own a LOT of books, sorry guys!). Overall, just absolutely freakin' amazing. This was my first experience hiring movers for myself, and I think it has spoiled me. 10/10 would recommend/hire again. read more

THESE GUYS ARE LEGIT PROFESSIONALS I have done near 4 moves in the last 6 years, and I have always come to expect a few problems. For those of you who have moved, you know the games these guys play (huge price increase as soon as your stuff hits the truck, missing stolen and broken stuff...and the list goes on). Moving is easy, said no man ever. I In comparison to my last 3 moves, Mission Movers made it a heck of a lot easier. 1) Guys showed up on time and we professional. I've had some companies with shady day workers...not the case here. 2) Price was the price I was quoted. This was a first in my moving experience. 3) They delivered on time...I asked them to deliver on a certain day, and they did it....which again, is not normal for moving companies Bottom-line, I have not tried every moving company, but of the 4 I've tried, Mission Movers is headlong above the rest, and worth every penny spent. I had a moving company already booked for my move but then when I tried to schedule my move with the new condo, they have specific requirements that I have to meet. Unfortunately, the moving company I booked can't meet those requirements so I'm scrambling to find a last minute moving company that would satisfy those requirements. I found mission movers through yelp and I called Jeremiah. They must be a very good company because they are all booked up and the earliest appointment is 2 weeks from now. So definitely try to book early if you can. Then Jeremiah texted me a list of moving companies that he would recommend for their good services. It's a very nice gesture of him and also an admirable way to do business. Not many people out there would recommend their competitors like that. Even though, I didn't have a chance to work with this company but I would recommend them to anyone based on the business ethnic they have. read more

Best movers is not really the best way to describe these guys... They absolutely were..the best!!! But they were more than that.. As a person who always has used professional movers, I can tell you that these guys hold the bar so high for themselves.. This was a last minute move for me. I called at 1PM with a ridiculous request to have movers at 4PM the same day.. Not only did I get a call "right back" as promised, they were early and waiting for me whenever I was ready to go. They were fast, careful, professional and I wasn't worried at all about my belongings... But.. They were also sweet and kind and honest hard-working men. I felt safe and cared for. As a single woman, this will be comforting to any woman thinking of hiring movers. I would recommend these gentlemen to ANYone needing movers.. ANYONE.. Can't recommend these guys enough. I can think of few things I hate more than moving but Mission Movers made the process way more bearable than it had any right to be. Jeremiah was great to deal with over the phone; he got back to me in a flash after I left a voicemail, gave me the complete rundown (with a very reasonable quote of $75 an hour, two-hour minimum, plus gas), and within minutes we had everything booked. Bill and Angel were my movers, and they did a terrific job. They were friendly and professional and got all my stuff into my new place quickly and in one piece. They even helped me pack it up! I had a bedroom and several cabinets' worth of items to move, including an IKEA bed that required disassembling and reassembling, and Bill and Angel got it done in barely two-and-a-half hours. These guys are the best movers I've ever had. Dominic worked with me on getting me scheduled for a morning move on a day that worked for my scheduled. On the day of the move, Mike called to let me know they were on their way and gave me their ETA. They arrived when Mike said they would, and started moving me the moment they entered the apartment. I had most of the apartment packed up and ready to go. The few items that were not packed, the guys wrapped them up and loaded them into the truck. My move from a 1 bedroom apartment in Huntington Beach to Costa Mesa took less than 3 hours, from loading to unloading. Everything arrived in the same shape as it left. Mike, Chris, and Jacob were nice, courteous, and fun to work with. I found this moving company here on Yelp after moving in the past and hiring companies that were nothing close to deserving a 5 star rating.. so I gave Jeremiah a call, he was extremely accommodating, professional, and had 5 guys move my 2 bedroom townhome so efficiently and productively... they were not only impressively speedy but also very diligent in listening to instructions and being cautious of certain items (mirrored furniture, valuables, etc) given by me (someone who finds moving to be the most stressful task on the planet)... I could not have been happier with putting my trust in Mission Movers. Along with extremely efficient; they were friendly, trustworthy and extremely kind throughout the process. 5 stars all around.. Jeremiah, in particular, was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Despite their busy schedule, they accommodated my needs when my home closing unexpectedly happened early. The next day, these incredible guys arrived promptly to pack up my entire three-bedroom condo in Costa Mesa. They ensured that everything was securely unloaded and stored in a storage facility before efficiently relocating it all to Irvine. Not only did they handle my desk, sleep number mattress, headboards, and larger, more valuable pieces with utmost care, but they also expertly assembled everything upon arrival. We were looking for a moving company and wanted to schedule an in-person cost estimate at our house, to ensure there aren't going to be any surprises on moving day. Unfortunately, they don't do onsite estimates, which most other moving companies do onsite "not to exceed estimates." Why don't they...what are they hiding??? We will only hire a moving company that does onsite estimates, so we know exactly how much the move will cost ahead of time. Like some of the other reviews below, the guy, said his name was Jeremiah, that finally called me back after getting auto emails bounced back and being sent to voicemail, was rude and had poor customer service. Talk about a rude dude with an attitude! Definitely not a company I would want to trust handling all of our stuff during a move. read more

I was just moving my own room out of one house and into another, and I was worried about paying through the nose for just a small move, or them saying they wouldn't do it all together. But after talking to Jeremiah on the phone, he completely reassured me that not only would they take care of my move, but that they would do it at a super reasonable rate. Come moving day Heath and Jeremiah showed up on time, and got me out and in to my new place quickly, without even scratching a single thing. These guys are some of the best in the business, affordable, polite, non-threatening (I'm a younger girl in college- these things make a difference!) and stayed in my budget. Thank goodness for Mission Movers! I was referred by a friend who used them out of their office in Orange County. I was going from Oceanside to Carlsbad so I didn't hunk I could use them but then I found out they had a new branch right in Carlsbad. Awesome! The guys were so professional and great. Alex, Nick and Jeremiah were so fantastic. They HUSTLED! My house went so fast I couldn't believe it. The guys were clean cut and respectable looking. People I totally trusted to handle my (somewhat expensive) furniture. I've moved before and seen how bad it can get, and they exceeded my expectations by far.
