I highly recommend people avoid Mission Plumbing. After having a tankless water heater installed, I had to have a professional electrician correct some of the installation and another plumbing company correct the fact that clean out valves were not installed. (You are supposed to clean out the heat exchanger once a year so that is a problem. ). I tried to call Mission Plumbing many times to get these issues resolved and they did not answer the phone. However when I called using another phone, they did answer. Go figure. I was told they were driving and would call back in a couple minutes. No call came. All in all, I spent close to $2,000 getting an installation corrected that could have been done right the first time. And of course, it's highly disturbing that they won't answer the phone unless I call from a number with which they aren't familiar. Did they do that on purpose? I'm not a mind reader but you can make up your own mind, I'm sure. read more

We used to use this company but due to the more than tripled prices, we no longer use them. They never answered any emails or texts. After they did our past work, one of the drain hoses came off and I tried to ask them about it. Randy Woods with Mission Plumbing, is a con man and should not be in business. He left us in a mess when he installed a Rinnai Tankless Water Heater/Boiler Combo Unit. We have had nothing but challenges due to his install and continues to cost us a lot of money. He also convinced us that we needed a new water softener unit, which I am finding out is one of his game plans. We referred him to our neighbor and he left them in a very big mess, which has been very costly. This was before we found out Randy is not a man of his word. He has refused to make things right. We filed claims against him and yet he is still leaving a trial of very upset people. Please do not use Mission Plumbing/Randy Wood. I would not have given even a 1 star! read more

I've used them twice. Each time, they gave me a bid, did the work properly, and completed the work on time. We had a reason to go to the actual facility one time and it was all very professional. We had a horrible experience with Randy Wood. He took our payment of 1/2 down($2,250) to do work for us & then he never showed up. He said he'd refund our money but obviously he was lying to us because he never refunded our money. We are very shocked to have $2,250 stolen from us!!! read more

We hired MP for a 45k bathroom remodel. We signed a contract 9/29/2022 and 1/10/2023 fired them as they left all work unfinished--No vanity, lights, mirrors, closet shelving, the shower pan was installed then removed due to poor workmanship, sheetrock sub was "fired" and they had to hire someone else to redo it, flooring was laid with a broken plank, and they couldn't even figure out how to connect the water softener to power. read more

for starters, Randy is a TRAINED, CERTIFIED BOILER TECHNICIAN. If you have a boiler you will understand why this is so important! We have had several plumbers out over the last 10 years for service, repair, and even replacement of our radiant heating system. None of them knew what they were doing. We have had meager heat in our home ever since we bought it. Every time I called someone who claimed to be a boiler specialist, they'd tinker with the boiler, give their "expert" opinion about why it wasn't adequate, or what needed to be done to make it adequate. Nothing ever worked. A few years ago we finally had to replace the boiler. The plumber who did the replacement claimed he knew what he was doing. He did not. We've been without heat in our home for the last 3 winters. Enter Randy. First off, Randy is just an incredibly nice person. He cares about his customers. He values honesty, quality, and his reputation. He stands behind his work with both parts AND labor warrantees! Randy has worked with us, understanding our predicament, and sympathizing with our whole ordeal. He has gone above and beyond to help us find a solution. In the end, we had to replace the total botch job from the former plumber who defrauded us. It no longer worked because of the dozens of blunders made by said idiot plumber. Randy helped us find an affordable, superior solution. It cost a fraction of what we paid for the botch job. Randy's prices are more than fair. Randy, CJ, and Paul came out and installed a new tankless boiler/water heater combo, as well as a water softener. They finished in a few hours. They were courteous, respectful, clean, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right, and that we were completely satisfied. They even fixed a few other annoyances caused by the previous plumber in the house. By that evening, the new boiler was registering an error code. I called Randy to let him know. He didn't even hesitate. CJ was there within 20 minutes to take care of it. The following morning Randy showed up to check it again. It was determined that the unit had been damaged in transit, and would have to be replaced. They started immediately making that happen, and within about 3 hours they had replaced the defective unit with a new one, at no additional cost or hassle to us. We finally have reliable heat! Randy and CJ have been back a few times in the last week to make sure everything is running as it should. I have NEVER worked with someone in the trades who is so conscientious, and so determined to make sure everything is perfect. Truly. I cannot even begin to describe how happy I am with their work, their professionalism, their knowledge, and their sincere concern for our family. Thanks guys! I got a brand new townhouse with a brand new water heater. It kept going out. My wife contacted the plumbers at Mission Plumbing. They came by when it was just my wife home and persistently insinuated that she was imagining it and that she's just being a nagging wife. I politely insisted they come back and look again. When they came they called the boss, and he spent the entire conversation cussing loudly. I did not get the entire gist of the conversation, but judging by the plumber's dismissal of our problem, the boss was probably complaining about how annoying we were. Funny enough, I filed a complaint against the boss' behavior, then they insisted on the builder being the mediator to communicate that WE need to apologize to THEM. We, of course, refused. After several instances of the water heater shutting off, the HVAC guys checked things out and confirmed that the water heater was the problem. Begrudgingly, Mission came and replaced the water heater. After less than a year, we're back at square one. The water heater keeps turning off. We're done negotiating. WARNING! These guys will try to rip you off. Terrible, terrible service. We had a miscommunication about when the first visit would be. Tech came out 3 hours earlier than I thought we agreed on. Rescheduled. Complete no-show on the second visit. No notice given. Waited around all morning for nothing. Rescheduled again the next day. Believe it or not, complete no-show again. Not even a phone call. Waited around all morning for nothing, again. Rescheduled a third time for later that day. Didn't come during the hours specified. Waited around that afternoon for nothing. Had to call to confirm they were still coming. At this point, I'm angry I've wasted so much time waiting around multiple days and just want to get the work done. Terrible follow through. When they finally come (late), they quoted me $425 for 1 hour of work, maybe 2 hours tops. Extremely dishonest. I needed silicone caulk put around a sink flange, Thrift powder put down a drain, and a p-trap cleaned. When I first made the appointment to come out, the owner, Randy Wood, was very reluctant to give me any actual pricing over the phone, simply saying they were "very fair." I really didn't want to play the game of "Let me pick a random price now that I'm in your home," so I got him to agree on the phone that "very fair" meant about $125 for the first hour and $75 for each additional hour, billed by the half hour. Fine. When Chris, the guy who had blown me off two mornings in a row, finally arrived and looked at the work, he called the owner and then quoted me $425. What on earth?!?! I told him that wasn't consistent with what Randy and I previously discussed. That would be like 5 hours of work when it would only take about an hour. We called Randy and put him on speaker. I reminded him about our conversation on price, which I specifically had to avoid dishonest pricing like this. Randy doubled down, saying yes, it would take no more than two hours (a $200 charge), but it would be more (apparently $225 more) because of the original miscommunication, when Chris came out at a time no one was home. Mind blowing. And ironic. You would think that after two days in a row of complete no-shows they would try to go above and beyond to make up for it. Maybe even offer a discount. Nope. The owner decided to go back on his word, be extremely greedy, and give a ridiculous reason for why his pricing was so dishonestly high. I told them no thanks. Horrible, horrible customer service. Note, this was the second time Mission Plumbing came out to my home. The first time, they tried to charge me more than the agreed upon amount when it came time to collect payment. Had to get Randy on the phone again and point out that the amount the service tech was trying to bill me was more than the amount we agreed upon on Thumbtack. So twice Mission Plumbing tried to "bait & switch" with inflated pricing. Don't waste your time with these guys. Extremely dishonest, unprofessional, and a huge waste of time waiting around for missed appointments. read more

I had a toilet that was leaking water on the floor. When I took it off to put a new seal under it I found that it was bolted to a cement floor and the bolts were rusted away and I couldn't get new bots into the anchors in the cement. When I went to the plumbing store to get a repair ring I had seen on YouTube Randy Wood happened to be there and asked what I was trying to fix. When I told him he took me to a better solution, a replacement insert and told me exactly how to make the repair. He quickly grasped the situation and had the best solution. It worked just as he said that it would. He is experienced and gets right to the solution. read more

I had an issue with a leak in my mechanical room. They were able to respond immediately and when they figured out what was wrong was able to fix the problem with a couple hours and that was with replacing my entire water softener. Tried the "$43 or it's free guy" and after he couldn't successfully clear the drain, he told me I'd need a plumber (I thought you were a plumber, no, I'm a drain tech) my "Spidey Senses" started tingling so I went to Home Advisor". I talked with Randy of Mission Plumbing, he said it sounded like a vent pipe problem, we made an appointment and Chris showed up five or ten minutes early the next morning. After snaking the vent pipe from the roof to no avail, he went to work on the pipe from under the sink and from the clean out where he found not one, not two, not even three, but four, that's right FOUR separate clogs that the "$43 or it's free" guy totally missed (somehow I don't think he really snaked the drain all the way to the main stack). Chris also spotted a belly in the pipe that he quickly repaired. Two hours later the drain is running like a champ and the cost; $250 which was exactly what Randy quoted in our phone call. And, unlike the other guy, Chris didn't borrow any of MY tools and he didn't try to sell me a $10,000 whole house re-pipe. We've got a plumber I feel we can trust and will definitely use again in the future. read more
