From start to finish, everyone involved in this project was so dedicated, professional and knowledgeable. My husband and I had no idea regarding the extent of the damage that had occurred to the old roof, and were so happy that the company's project manager, Shaun, took over,contacted our insurance company, and orchestrated the whole project. But I have to give extra credit to Jessica, the company's representative, for her tireless follow-up and constant commitment to keeping the line of communication open in terms of making sure everything was going smoothly, and that materials were being ordered and delivered on a certain date. She was so patient and polite, and made me feel like a valued customer, not just a person on the other end of her phone. She kept us informed and updated about any changes or upcoming events. And Jessica let us know step by step what was going on all the time. Her efficiency is unparalleled. UPDATE: A critical warning for all Arizona homeowners: Mission Restoration (ROC #317479) was placed under a formal Disciplinary Suspension 2 times in May 2026 by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. After a brief 8-day ACTIVE status achieved by posting a $15K cash bond, their license has been SUSPENDED AGAIN as of May 28, 2026. They are legally stripped of their license and are not permitted to contract or operate anywhere in the state. Despite this, their website remains fully live and falsely claims they are licensed and bonded. They are still actively using local salespeople to target neighborhoods, while their Mesa office aggressively demands thousands of dollars in fabricated "cancellation fees" under threat of collections for absolutely zero work performed and no materials delivered. This company has completely abandoned jobs and is out of compliance in multiple states (including California, where their LLC bonds were just cancelled). They have multiple unanswered complaints, bad reviews, and active alerts about the state of California on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) site--dropping them to a D- rating and rendering them completely unaccredited by the BBB. We have been waiting 3 + months for our roofing . We have given a large amount check that our insurance company gave us. We call & txt but no response. Plus we have driven out to the office and it was closed. My husband went to the back of the building and talked to a David . Dishonest and untrustworthy. Mission Restoration is not a roofing company. They are a door-to-door sales operation hiding behind contracts and high-pressure tactics. After a large wind storm, a salesman named Robert from Mission Restoration knocked on my door, claiming to be "working on roofs in the neighborhood." I told him that I planned on repairing the damage to my roof and he could let me know what it would entail. He looked at my roof and suggested insurance might cover the repairs. I told him that I wanted to talk to my broker before filing any claim. Despite that, within just a few hours, a claim had been filed on my insurance without my permission and without even having my policy number. Since the claim was already open, I allowed Mission the chance to quote my project. My insurance approved a full roof replacement, but while three other reputable companies provided professional quotes around the approved amount with higher quality shingles and ventilation, Mission instead focused on pressuring my insurance for more money. They tried to frame it as "fighting for me," when it was obvious they were only fighting for themselves. When it came time to discuss the actual work, they sent out another representative who admitted he wasn't a roofer at all, but that he was their financier. He knew little about roofing and was only there to collect a check, upsell me on low-grade shingles, and push financing I didn't need. At that point it was clear that Mission Restoration was not looking out for me as the customer but only for their own profit. When I tried to cancel, they claimed I owed them $500 simply because I hadn't told them to take a hike within 72 hours of the first salesman knocking on my door. Do not give Mission your policy information. If you're with 72 hours of meeting them, call and cancel. If you've been working with them, do not sign over your insurance check. Mission Restoration is not a true roofing company, and they certainly don't operate like one. Very disappointed with Mission Restoration after the destroyed my HVAC unit by covering it with a tarp during installation of my roof. I contacted them and was told they would take care of it by Oscar Pena. After going all winter from 12/16/24-8/16 of this year I had no heat nor AC. I ended up having to take out 3 loans to pay the $7,225.00 to have a new unit installed. I am a 73 year old widow dealing with Metastatic cancer and they figured letting me keep an insurance check for $700 would suffice after promising to take care of it. Their insurance should have paid for it so now I'm in debt for the next 5 years on 3 different loans to fix what they broke. I would not trust them to repair anything now. I trusted them to fix my HVAC, beware that knock on your door to replace your roof. It could cost you thousands in out of pocket damages they caused. Not to mention the stress of no heat in the Payson winter as well as the heat from the summer heat without AC. All I got was the runaround and broken promises. Homeowners Beware: Predatory and Dishonest Business Practices I'm writing this to warn other homeowners--especially those unfamiliar with roofing terms or insurance claims--about my experience with Mission Restoration. What should've been a straightforward roof rebuild turned into a 10-month ordeal of deception, threats, and manipulation. Mission took advantage of the Female Homeowner repeatedly. Key Issues: *Contract Issues: Mission used the wrong contract type (RCV instead of ACV) with no cost listed. Estimate was fraudulently tallied up to $14,682. *Insurance Disputes: When insurance rightly denied these inflated claims, Mission tried to pressure me into financing the shortfall myself. *Fraudulent Charges: Project Manager, Stapleton first used outdated measurements (from 2013) and included charges for work that didn't exist--like a roof that was demoed in 2020. Also, claiming 147' of gutter removal/reattachment and trim repair on my home that actually only had 36' of gutters for a fee of $975.70. *Delays: Despite an "estimated completion" of 11/9/24, no commenced by mid-December '24 except for a tarp and a false bid--yet they had already cashed $10,800 in checks I mistakenly signed over, trusting Stapleton. MY FUNDS WERE HELD HOSTAGE and NO physical work commenced. I discovered later, the Contractor was only supposed to collect 50% of the estimate and order and pay for supplies. *Manipulative Promises: Even when senior manager, Carter stepped in, promised a discount of $2882 on 02/28/25, amounts were changed or removed. The "pain & suffering discount" decreased from $2882 to $1906 and Carter cheated me by adding in the gutter and trim repair amount of $976 to add up to $2882 instead. NO $976 refund! Ultimately, I was to use the $976 refund to pay down the deductible, and paying the difference of $24, for the $1K. Carter "strong armed" me again. *Threats & Intimidation: When I objected, Carter refused refunds and threatened to charge 25% on the original contract RCV amount of $14, 682 ($3670.50), for an inflated estimate. To date I am threatened with a mechanic's lien on my home. Despite involving legal counsel, sending a Cease and Desist letter, and contacting my insurance company, Mission wouldn't act in good faith. Against my better judgement, I reluctantly signed a new "cash" contract on 4/26/25 just to get the work completed--still doubting their integrity. Lastly, I also need to mention Mission only warranties their "workmanship" for two years, which is also suspicious. This company preys on homeowners' trust and lack of roofing knowledge. I hired this company to re-roof our house in 2022 and...WOW...I was truly impressed by their service (and wrote a very positive review on another review website--thought I'd posted it here too but now, I can't find it). They guys who did the work went the extra mile. When they found rotted out plywood beneath the old shingles, they replaced it, charging me only for the plywood (not labor). When they noted that 1x2s were missing from underneath the drip edge of an RV cover on which they replaced rolled roofing, they added the 1x2s at no cost. They did a great job of picking up stray nails/staples and other roofing material and did the out-of-pocket (no insurance) job at a reasonable price with a non-onerous contract. I liked them so much that when the roof on the house owned by my late mother's trust (where my two sisters live) was damaged about a year later, I hired them to replace that roof as well. Unfortunately, they must have used their "mutt" crew on that job. Just over two years later (when their work was juuuuuussst out of warranty), the roof started to leak. Of course, the roofing material was still new so the only answer was a failure to seal properly around the AC unit and various ducts/vents that protruded up through the roof. I called Mission, spoke with a woman who told me there'd be a service charge (I'm recalling $140 but can't find the exact amount) just to send someone out to determine the reason their crappy, out-of-warranty work was leaking after about 2.5 years. If my work failed after just over two years, I'd have been embarrassed enough to have sent someone out for free. But to Mission, a contract is a contract and they were determined not to do the same great work their original crew had done. In response to Mission's "we're going to charge you to determine why our work was so crappy" offer, one of my sisters (who lives in the house), was good enough to say "screw that", to go to Home Depot an buy sealant, and to climb on the roof and do the repairs herself. I cancelled the service call (and charge) with Mission, thinking I'd never need to deal with their cheap asses again. Then, in late November of 2025, after record-setting downfalls in west Phoenix, my sister's seal job failed. I called Mission again, figuring I'd bite the bullet and pay their B.S. fee for inspecting their own crummy work, thinking I'd at least get some grace by being a prior (repeat) customer. I called Mission on 11/20/25 at 11:37 a.m. (yes, I write stuff like this down) and got voicemail. I left a message describing my issue and waited for a call back. More heavy rain was forecast so there was significant urgency about getting the leaky roof fixed. I waited...and waited...and waited. On 11/21 at 10:20 a.m., having heard NOTHING from these Mission monkeys, I called again and spoke with "Riley". I think Riley was a human, but she may as well have been an answering machine or an AI bot. She could provide no information about the cost of inspecting my sister's roof, and she could do nothing more than take a message and tell me that "someone" will "reach out to me". Today is 12/24/25. I'm still waiting for that mysterious "someone" to "reach out". While waiting for Mission to "reach out", I explored other options for getting someone to look at my sister's roof. Fortunately, a guy named George Stewart (from Stewart Painting & Roofing) started calling me to see if he could help. When I didn't return his call right away (because I was busy at work), he actually drove to my sisters' house (said he was "in the area"), knocked on their door, asked (my sister) if it was OK to get on their roof and look around. Then, he and called me with his assessment. His assessment was that there was a lot of "soft" plywood around the AC unit (gee...why didn't Mission notice/replace this as their other crew at my house had done?) and that the seal job around the AC unit (and my sister's prior repairs) had failed. He sent me pictures of the problem and gave me a reasonable quote for doing the job right. Sooooo...the short answer about Mission Restoration is this: they were 50/50 on the quality of their work. So far, there have been no leaks on the house in which my wife and I live, and so far, it looks like there work on our house was good. But, due to their slipshod work at my sisters' house, there have been TWO leaks in just over 2.5 years; that is NOT indicative of good quality work, warranty-be-damned. Most importantly, there has been no service after the sale. Basically, Mission's approach to prior customers has been "piss off, we'll get to you if we can and if/when we decide to call you back, there WILL be a charge if you're out of warranty". To be fair, that's the letter of the law. I reviewed the contract I signed with Mission on my sister's house and the warranty was two years. So they have NOT breached the terms of their agreement. They simply aren't at all interested in taking pride in their work. read more

They submitted an inflated insurance claim only to cover messy shingle replacement and gutter work on our very simple 8-year-old cookie cutter home: $21k in total! ROC has had to come out twice already and still working with us in DECEMBER to get all work done correctly after confirming no less than five separate issues in our complaint. Mission Restoration and Austin Onarheim did a fantastic job replacing the flat roof on the additions to the house. The previous roof replacement in that area had been improperly installed and there were constant leaks. Previous roofer was called out several times and did temporary repairs but never addressed the problem. The warranty had expired, the company bankrupt and Mission Restoration came to the rescue. Austin kept me updated through the entire process. Work was done quickly, professionally, and clean up was excellent. Our roof was straight forward no big issues, but the home is out in the sticks; 14 miles off the main road. They arrived at 6 am and had the roof done by 10 am. Fast hard working 4 man crew and Levi supervising! Levi was very good with providing various options and gave me full bids on three different materials. We were scammed by a pushy door to door salesman. He caught my wife outside and hassled her until she agreed to a free no obligation inspection. She stated she was not the home owner or anyone to be held responsible for anything roof related. They contacted my insurance trying to negotiate more allowances. I had not and still have not received a quote or given them a go as my roofer. Never given a chance to go over scope of work or expectations. I asked for delay twice due to not being comfortable enough to continue. No contact from them. Next thing we know there are new roofing materials on my roof. I canceled and asked for them to remove the material. They held my roof hostage for 6 months as I needed extra repairs due to leaks. Emailed the company and no response. Adam Davey cold called my house to see if I needed my roof done. It had storm damage and he helped me get in touch with my insurance to get it done. Procees went quick and the crew was at my home early and in about 9hrs I had a new roof. They were quick and left my yard the way they found it. Also had a slight issue after the roof was done and called Adam to come and look at it. He came out and next thing I knew I had someone out to take care of the problem. The area I live in was impacted by hail October 2023. Justin the project manager pulled it up on his phone and had exact houses hit and I was really impressed with that tool. My roof had been damaged along with my AZ room awning and even my shed roof!! I wasn't even aware of the extent and that my roof could be covered by my insurance!! I just had a friend refer me as I told her I'd have to sell my house as I didn't have the money to put a roof on my recently purchased home. I was upset about my leaks in my AZ room! Not in the house Thank God! BUT once Justin got on my roof and discovered the damage to areas (not even leaking "yet") I was immediately comforted as he had me call my insurance and "he" handled all the talking (with me there) to my insurance company. The next day a insurance adjustor came out and with Justin getting on the roof with him showed him. I was SO impressed as a elderly woman on a fixed income newly purchasing this home (within the year) I didn't expect having to put on a ROOF! I didn't have the funds. Well, long story short within a few weeks everything was covered by my insurance thanks to Justin and his dealing with all details of the requirements. They ordered the metal awning and all roofing materials and I now have a new roof, awning, and shed roof!!!! It looks fabulous!!!! Justin KNOWS what he's doing and how to handle insurance companies!!! He was here during the whole process and when the crew came he was right there watching, supervising, and comforting me whenever I needed. I had a $500.00 deductible and I recommended my elderly neighbor to him and Justin immediately got up on her roof (she also didn't know had hail damage) called her insurance company with her present. Her roof is also replaced now and it took them one day to get it done!!!! I got $250.00 for the referral and working on spreading the word! Justin is the BEST!!! MISSION ROOFING is amazing!!!! Also my yard is very nice and they left it just like they found it!!! Clean as a whistle. I thank God for my friend telling me about Justin. Fantastic manager with Mission Restoration, Tyler, guided me through the entire process. Inspected my roof for wind damage from 2023. My insurance, USAA, comfirmed the needed shingle replacement, and took care of the total cost less deductible. Mission Restoration helped to coordinate Gutter and Solar removal. Each team were impeccable. From the end of April to mid June the Roof and Gutters were taken care of. Solar will be reinstalled next week (mid july). I was most impressed the roofing team who showed up before 5 am and finished the job by 6pm (even in high temps). They covered all surrounded areas with tarps to catch nails and protect plants. They tore off the old roof, rebuilt cracked/broken 2x4s and replaced weak plywood. They reshingled the roof and added new color matched vents and wind vents. Cleanup was amazing. read more

They came and replaced my fiance's roof. in the process their workers covered the heat pump with a tarp which caused it to smoke and burn up. no the heat doesnt work. my girlfriend is 72 years old. she called a heat pump repair company who said it needed a new heat exchanger or total replacement. Their front man Alex offered her $500 to have it fixed. The repair cost is $1260.60 and would take 2 months because of parts availability. Replacement is $5700. Alex is trying to capitalize on her home warranty ignoring the fact his negligence caused the unit to fail. So basically Alex rode into town and left a 72 year old lady with zero heat in Payson Arizona in the middle of winter. She is considering elevating this. Pearce and his team worked on two of my family's properties and did absolutely fantastic work replacing our roofs. They even accommodated to a few small last minute fixes that we requested. Amazing customer service, for sure. Pearce was also willing to answer questions for us past normal office hours - which is very uncommon, but extremely appreciated. Not only did they keep us in the loop of what they were doing once the project started, they did it with some serious speed! Now we have brand new, extremely handsome roofs that updated our houses. We're hoping we won't have to do this again until much later, but if we did, Mission Restoration is the place to go to. Our roof took a direct hit from a microburst causing serious damage. Normally I am leery of folks coming to the door offering to take a look at repairs, but Kisasi and his team set me at ease. They quickly took a look and estimated the damage to the roof and showed us issues that would require the replacement of the whole roof. Getting our insurance claim paid was no easy task, but Mission Restoration and their staff supported the claim all the way. They prepared reports and photos and spoke with my adjuster to obtain a mutually agreeable price, and handled everything. Unlike my insurance company, Mission Restoration was extremely responsive to communications from me, even returning a call in the late evening when my tarp blew off. This company uses very disconcerting sales tactics. I was in my front yard yesterday and was approached by a Mission Restoration rep. I told him we were not interested. He continued to approach me via our driveway, saying he was "there to help." I told him we did not want or need his services. He continued to approach, asking when we last had our roof inspected. I finally had to tell him to turn around and leave. He was not happy but did leave. Turns out that since I decided to use a different contractor who could help with other things that they want over 2000 dollars for there time. Mission Restoration did a fantastic job of assessing our roof in Prescott, AZ, after a severe hailstorm, and then working with our insurance company to get the needed funding. They performed the work in two days, with great attention to detail and care and respect for our yard, including exceptional cleanup. Sarah Murray was excellent to work with and kept us up to date on all aspects of the process in real time. Sarah knows the process extremely well and was able to break it down in an understandable fashion for us. Kalon did a great job of keeping us in the know regarding the insurance dealings. And the roofing crew was a respectful and congenial group who worked hard from morning to night. We would definitely call Mission Restoration again! read more
