They changed the built-in battery in my Samsung Galaxy S9. The work was done quickly and well. They did return the phone covered in resin residue (they had to melt the resin holding the phone case halves together), but I could clean it off with orange cleaner. Through Yelp, I contacted several repair shops to replace a battery in my tablet and repair the screen that had separated from the case. Mission Wireless, which had very good reviews, was the first to respond, so I made an appointment for the next day. I hadn't known that overcharging the battery causes it to swell (I don't do that anymore!). The lady who took my tablet in was very pleasant. I paid the full price in advance, and the tablet was supposed to be ready in 24 hours. Later that day, Mission Wireless called and asked if they could keep the tablet another 24 hours. The delay was not a problem as I don't use the tablet for anything critical. I'd rather give the professionals the time they need to do a good job. I got to speak to the rep in front and repair guy in back and I could totally see in their eyes they are LEGIT. The staff was very knowledgeable, offered reasonable prices, and provided bilingual services! I went to get the charging port of my Nintendo Switch inspected and changed out - it was not charging. I was requested to leave a small deposit and return the next day to pick up. When I returned the staff explained what they discovered on my Switch, which was a minor issue that did need the port changed. Marisol helped me at the front to get me set up. i had a small crack in my back camera glass and the technician had it ready within 30 minutes. went in at 6 and picked up at 6:30. They did ask for my password wish was pretty strange to me and made me a little nervous since ive never been asked for my password from any other repair shop before and looks like there were no pictures taken to test it. Yes! The battery in my Samsung S7 was running out after a couple of hours with little use, and the battery health app I tried (Accubattery) said battery health was approximately 50%. I had Mission Wireless replace the battery and can now get through a full day with power to spare. Well worth $44. On the downside, customer service is weak. I dropped my Samsung Note 5 and a crack appeared on the LCD digitizer across the top part of the screen. After the drop, the screen was unresponsive and bled pink and purple until it blacked out completely by the end of the day. After searching and requesting quotes from multiple places around the Bay Area, Mission Wireless had the best deal. I spoke with Chris (Christian) through yelp and he said it can be done. Samsung parts are pretty expensive to begin with so I was expecting a high price tag. For parts and labor, along with a 3-month warranty, the estimate was $230. I agreed and Chris ordered the part immediately. Turnaround time was about 4 days for the part to arrive but it took only an hour for the repair. Very professional work and friendly atmosphere and my phone works perfectly again. Buy used smartphones here and you'll be sorry. I bought two, neither of them worked properly, and these clowns refused to fix them or exchange them. One phone was returned to me with all its screws missing. They then accused me of removing the screws, and said if I didn't leave they would call the police! Mind you, I never raised my voice or even expressed any impatience or displeasure. I was apparently taking too much of their valuable time; the truth is, they were unable to fix these phones because they are rank amateurs who only know how to replace screens, clean up contacts, etc. So they shifted the blame onto me, making up ridiculous lies to have a pretext for refusing service. I paid $200 and got a couple of door stops. These phones were worth about $5 each. One kept going off line, and the other did nothing at all. What they are apparently doing is taking in defective phones as trade-ins, then cleaning them up, wrapping them nicely, and selling them as "refurbished." I doubt they even bother to test them; if they had, my phones would not have passed the test. And the loaner phone they were nice enough to provide was also unusable, as its screen was completely unresponsive. But that didn't matter because it also would not charge its battery. So I paid all that money in good faith, and they took the money and ran. I intend to make complaints to the City and State about their consumer fraud, and I'll be suing them as well. A word to the wise: avoid their used phones unless you enjoy misery. read more

I needed my cell repaired, so I called and a guy I spoke to told me that they don't fix what I needed at that store. I just needed the sim card reader repaired. I went to Metro PCs and they told me it just needed repair. I also decided just to go inside the store instead of calling hoping to get the services I deserve and the young agent that I saw looked at my phone and told me to go to Metro PCs so something seemed a bit fishy so after driving around trying to find help with my phone that I got from Metro I went back to wireless repair and the same lady I saw who told me to go elsewhere when they could of simply fixed my phone, I went back to the store and she looked at me guilty but very bias and strange as if she new she was wrong so I knew right away from her eyes that she wasn't telling me the truth. I would advise that the manager and or appropriate person look into this kind of treatment because we all need our phones especially now in the world we're in. I reached out in Aug 2021, I desperately wanted to avoid throwing out another Google phone - these seem to fail around2 years. Mission Wireless did their absolute best to try and recover the Pixel phone but in the end, it was damaged beyond repair (no, I did not drop the phone - the motherboard just suddenly failed).
