The people with the iPad are pretty welcoming. The service increase from 8$ to 10$. I used to come here back when it was cruiserz for 5$. I gave Mister Car Wash a chance to figure it out since they're a local car wash to my house. With the original owner the car wash was slower and more thorough. They also gave you a wet wipe for interior and an air freshener scent back then. Their loyalty problem was awesome and fair too.They ended up removing the shade covers for drying your car. Looks like they still haven't been able to figure it out. It's gone downhill. Don't come here it's a scam. read more

Who the heck asks for a tip on a SELF car wash machine? THIS COMPANY! They don't even spot clean with microfiber like the previous company did. They don't provide wipes for the inside of your cars and the car wash machine itself felt extra short compared to the previous job. Compared to the previous "cruisers" here's a list of what this place has to offer now: 1. More expensive 2. Got rid of the complimentary wet wipe for the interior 3. Doesn't clean well anymore. I believe they removed some of the equipment to cut down costs. My car came out with plenty of dirty spots still. 4. Got rid of the rewards program 5. I get the second cheapest option and it's aight, a couple water spots are left usually but like, it's a drive-thru wash so that's bound to happen (I guess?). They have an area to wash your mats through the rollers and buy little kits to wipe down the interior (though mine did get stuck and a worker was kind enough to Fonzie it for me (for those youngins out there, it means he banged the heck out of the machine until my little sponge fell through the machine dispenser)). Vacuums available and yeah. Cool. Look, it is a little weird to ask for tip at a drive-thru wash. Before they changed the name of the place I would usually have a worker come by and dry off any excess water, but since I've been here twice with the new owners I never have any staff do that anymore. Previous brand was leaps and bounds better than the current owner. Mister Car Wash is absolutely dog water. They jacked up the price while having considerably worse car wash quality. With the old you see that the car wash is a lot more thorough and slow, give the brushes and bristles time to scrub your car and applying cleaning detergent. Now, it just blitz you right through, and the damn brushes sometimes doesn't even touch my car. Employees also try a lot to upsell you and try to get you to buy their subscriptions. Screw this place. I miss Cruisers, the old company that ran this car wash. The original owners charged $5 for a basic car wash, whereas these new owners charge $8 for what felt like a lesser wash. The original company had people walking around by the vacuums to spot dry your car, and this new company doesn't have that. The lady at the front, who seemed genuinely nice and was just doing her job - in her defense - asked if I'd like to leave a tip. A tip for what? A machine? I don't tip machines. I tip people. At the end of the day, I got what I paid for. The services I paid for were rendered. I don't know if I'd come back under this new ownership, though... The whole experience wasn't necessarily bad, but it didn't leave me feeling as good as I felt with Cruisers. read more

If you value your time, car, and money, don't go here. They try to upcharge you by telling you should get this and that all to just have you car coming out almost as dirty as it went in. I decided to give them another shot, giving in to their higher prices after realizing the membership prices are around market value compared to nearby washes. I ended up getting the Platinum unlimited membership. The vacuums are incredibly strong and the tire shine stays very shiny for weeks. The wash feels more thorough with the Platinum wash that includes wax for the hot summer protection. I'd like for them to upgrade their towel wash/dry station to complement their nice rug cleaners. read more

They no longer give you the scents in your car as well which was always an awesome perk of coming here. And on top of that, they now give you an option to tip before you head into the wash. When I saw my favorite car wash was bought out and given a commercial look, I knew there would be trouble. Well, my first clue should have been the lack of cars lined down Brookhurst to use the car wash, and the one car in front of me that backed out after talking to the cashier. When it was called Cruisers, there used to be a line down the street. Mister whomever should have been named Mister Cringe. Cringy is what the last question asked is. After tapping my card, the guy turns the tablet around, showing tip amounts, and says " a little extra for the team?" Umm... for you to show me the available washes and tap my card or for the guy inside the wash bay that does the airplane directing and one push of the button to start the machine that does all the work? NEVER!! So, the owner raises the wash prices without adding any real value, and eliminates the person who wiped off ALL the water left on the car from the underpowered air blowers. Plus, the wash left dirt at the bottom of my vehicle. Maybe you should have purchased the "how to run a business" manual from the previous owner while you were in the buying mood. I would give this place a zero because it doesn't have much to offer. Car came out wet and it's not clean nor dry enough. There are different packages but I chose the most expensive one which was $22. I rather go to a carwash where I paid $25-35 and it's much cleaner with a person working on it. I used to enjoy doing my car wash here until the owner changed.. employees used to help some bit with drying the car with their towels. They were friendly too. Now, the price is more expensive and the services are terrible too. Thats the reason why I haven't been back starting from March.. I never signed up for monthly subscription at all and I just found out today that I've been charged for monthly membership since April.. I couldn't even get all the amount refunded. They only refunded me 3 months fee, stating that I didn't file for a complaint sooner.
