All the staff members were very welcoming waving saying hello and helpful discuss plans if I wanted to get in the future. $10 a wash is a good deal since other places are a tad bit more. The wash was good, but I'm not a fan of the vacuums nozzle design and power. Doesn't get to the places I need. Which is a big deal for me. Half the time I just want to get a good vaccum. It's hidden I never knew it was there until my friend told me. Ives lived on this street for years. read more

I have a 20 year old Grand Am... I get the wash next to the basic. My old car looks amazing after wards. Not a trace of dirt or bugs left on the car. That being said, I have NEVER been asked if I'd like to leave a tip! Quite awhile ago I tried to give the employee at the kiosk a a little cash and he told me they couldn't accept tips. Twice in all the years I have been going to Mister the car wash was temporarily closed. PLUS, they guide you in to the machine! I'm old and I love that!!!!! read more

There are still a LOT of bugs on my windshield :( in the past they had employees that would scrub the windshield to get the tough stuff off of it before the wash... now they have an employee that stands by the touchscreen pay kiosk and does the touchscreen/payment for you. They are refusing to fix my car which they damaged!!!Their machine hit my car and it just happened to be on the corner of my windshield. You can clearly see it where it banged it up and the crack is so big it went all the way to the middle of the front windshield. I even asked the assistant manager after the incident if my windshield was like that when he checked me in and charged my credit card in the lane I entered and he said "No ma'am your windshield was not damaged before you went into the car wash". They are absolutely horrible people. What kind of business is okay with damaging peoples property and not being held liable for it? Mister Carwash! He laughed at me several times over the phone when I explained to him that I heard a thump on my car and when the soap was rinsed off I noticed a massive crack on my windshield. Wonderful location, great customer service clean employees everything always works the way it should I have never had any problems and I enjoy going to the car wash daily. I have a monthly pass and I definitely think it's worth the price considering that I go every single morning I think my pass is around the $30 mark I'm not 100% sure but it's definitely worth it hands-down. I haven't been here I'm awhile, and they have changed and NOT for the better! I drove up to the pay kiosk and there was 3 attendants with their little ipads, they try to upsell you for the monthly wash, then asked me if I want to leave a tip..No pressure there them I pull around to the wash, they used to have 2 people there to scrub the front and around a little. Now there was 1 person who sprayed a little water for maybe 10 seconds. The car wash itself was not very thorough ( I got the Midprice) major bugs and dirt still on the front of my car. I will not be back! What am I tipping for? Someone to hold an iPad instead of washing my car? No thank you. In this case technology was not the answer. read more

I got 1 car wash here and the card reader didn't work. An attendant was there with a pad so I could pay for the wash. The wash was fine, but they signed me up for a monthly membership without my knowledge. I found the recurring charge 6 months later and complained. I only have 1 phone number and it did not match the one that was tied to that membership. Over that time I was charged $194.94 and they said by policy they could only reimburse me $98.96. So I got a basic drive thru car wash for $95.98. Do not trust the employees here! read more

Please note: This is a formal complaint about customer service and the staff member who attended my checking in at the LODI car wash of whom the owner of the Oil Stop is a friend and fellow Rotarian from the Local Rotary Club. Today, Saturday June 6 at approximately 2:45 I pulled into the car wash that I have had a membership for sometime, possibly more than a year. When the attendant went to scan the code on my windshield, he asked if he could replace it with the new stickers her said they were changing to. I said ok and he said he would have to place it higher in the windshield. So I pointed to where I would like to keep it below to insure it was out if the drivers view. The attendant, who looked and acted as though he might be a manager, simply said that if I didn't want it where he said it needs to go then, "We can cancel your membership then." There was no opportunity to discuss, he simply and in a harsh and rude tone told me they would cancel my membership. So I said, "OK". No arguing, no other conversation, simply, "ok". He then stated , you have until the 28th to wash your car. I said "ok" and rolled my window up and pulled through the wash. Then, the soap dispenser was not dispensing soap properly and did a very poor job on washing the car....seeming like they sped up the tracks to use less material to wash or dry the car. My complaint is fixed in the poor customer service that this young man presented of which I thought was unusually rude in the wake of so many of our businesses being closed for the last months. I would like to suggest that there be better training and better follow up with staff members and suggesting that there should be at least a warning to this staff member of whom it should be easy to find with modern employee hours monitoring. In one move, this young man removed an annual user of which may be difficult to regain. I know that if so spoke to my customers like this young man did, I would lose that customer for good. Mister car wash did do pretty good after the sale of Prime Shine and I didn't have complaints. The place was ran nicely, vacuums always worked, employees were nice and personable, car always came out clean, memberships were affordable... this was all pre COVID, post COVID it's another story. I ended my membership during covid when they closed down and I was maintaining washes with the touchless wash down the street from me. So I decided to try Mister out again. Their prices increased significantly which is highly disappointing (but I tried anyway) purchased the unlimited package since I love a clean car. The most disappointment is my car doesn't even get as clean as it should be, and I'm paying your top tier package!!! That's bunk! The touchless wash down the street cleans my car way better. I exit Mister wash and still have a significant amount of bug guts on my front window and bumper every time, as well as junk still on the back of my car too. How is this possible with friction wash? The vacuums are not maintained, hoses are always very low suction or completely clogged. Employees generally do not appear to be very friendly and just wave without expression portraying to us like "oh great another one..." vs in the past them waving with a smile and getting to know your customers by actually talking to them. The employee working the entrance never has expressions either and is never even truly guiding my car safely into the track rail (which they used to do!), and now just proceeding to let me know to drive forward, letting me bump the rail hard causing damage to my rim. And today I was almost rear ended in the wash terminal by cause of the employee guiding the huge truck behind me in too close to my car. My sensors on the back of my car were telling me it was about to hit before the driver slammed on breaks. What happened to the gap they used to allow? I could blame the driver but I watched in my mirror the employee guide them straight in after me so close. I'm highly disappointed in this location. I think I'll keep my touchless wash down the street and pay 12$ per wash. 30$ isn't worth a dirty car and this treatment, but truly may be worth it if my car came out clean, vacuums worked, and attitude of employees were better. read more

Why would Mister buy a car wash that is doing an amazing job (and we absolutely loved),to change it to a car wash that does a terrible job. The back of our car is still dirty, the windshield still has bugs and there is soap residue even after 2 washes. It doesn't dry your car and the vacuums now dont have enough suction. The best I can say is All the lights are pretty and the vacuums don't suck! After speaking to the staff and manger more than once and hearing excuses, like "it's the make of your car" and " we turned off that feature so as not to harm your car", we think it's amazing that Primeshine managed to clean our car at least once a month for the last 3 years without a single complaint from us. I LOVED Prime Shine for its friendly staff AND affordability.... at least the staff is still friendly, they deserve nothing but props and kudos, but NOW the prices are jacked up!!! Used to be like $12 for a Premiere Wash (or whatever the top tier wash was called), now it's basically $20, and $12 for a basic wash??? Who the hell do y'all think you are, charging this much for a car wash?! No thank you, I'll definitely miss going to this location because it was convenient as ever, but I cannot stand for price gouging. If turning Prime Shine over meant raising prices this much, I'd say Prime Shine made a HUGE mistake, selling out to Mister. This place was a big disappointment! The car wash didn't do a great job at cleaning the car. A girl is at the payment station for no reason asking if I want to leave a tip. Why would I leave a tip when they don't do anything. Most places have young kids drying the car at the end, this place does not. The vacuums are super weak and don't have pick up things well. I really hate to add my review because the Staff That works here is Awesome and Amazing But this system is worse than Prime Shine I am sorry to say. 1) The scrubbers are super hard on the Car I can hear all the banging on my doors. 2) Soap residue on my windows and basically Visible on the hood and Glass. 3) The Dryer is Terrible, that's how I see all the Soap residue. What am I paying for? To go Buy towels so I can dry my car every time Myself? Wow 4) The Vaccumms are useless, no. Suction the car is still Dirty inside and 80% of them don't work at all. This was, by far, the most disappointing waste of $18 I've ever spent. The employees are lazy, they didn't use a brush on the front of the car for bugs, they barely even sprayed the solution. The wash itself was ineffective at best. It moves your car through so fast that it doesn't have time to scrub anything off. There were areas of the car that a brush never even touched. It didn't rinse all the soap off. It didn't get the car close to dry. If I didn't have a cloth in the car to get out and dry it myself, the car would've had water spots everywhere. When I did get out to dry it there was still bugs and bird poop everywhere. I thought maybe the vacuums might redeem the experience, but oh no, weak suction and basically pointless. Save your money and find a different place or just keep driving a dirty car. read more

I went through the car wash and the system is only setup for credit card. I had Apple Pay and cash with a long line behind me and really needing my car wash for an event in morning . The attendant said the wash is on us this time. I asked to tip her but she would not accept it and said just come back next time. Mister Car Wash has staff that are not as polite as the previous business Prime Shine which was bought out by this current business. At the kiosk, you select a wash and then right before you pay, the machine asks you for a tip when there are NO EMPLOYEES that offer to dry your vehicle when the wash is complete or to help you vacuum the interior. Sometimes there is an employee at the kiosk that inputs the was for you and they too ask if you would like to leave a tip. If you politely deny a tip, the employee seems to give you a cold should and awaits the next customer while you wait for the gate to open to let you drive in to get your vehicle washed. As for the carwash itself, it is nothing to boast about, it is just a regular carwash. I would recommend Kelly's Carwash by Costco in Lodi before Mister Car Wash. read more

I have been a loyal customer with buying their highest subscription for 5 years. I absolutely loved it when it was prime shine, the car wash had very friendly people and the wash was great! Then about a year ago or so mr carwash buys prime shine and this is when it all went bad!! They changed the soap,wax and other products to cut costs and now it doesn't clean your vehicle worth a shit! The driers don't dry your vehicle, the brushes and rollers are not set-up and maintained like prime shine had them!! Now they beat and scratch the hell out of vehicle!! I brought these issues to the managers attention several time's as did other long term customers. The complaints fell on a deaf ear with this so called manager, instead all he can say is if you don't like it, that you can take your business elsewhere!!! This so called manager needs to be trained on customer service and how to be a manager!! So with all that has happened I did take my business to Kelly's car wash and it is much nicer and your vehicle comes out clean and dry!! Imagine that!!!
