Due to flood damage from our recent storms, I discovered some issues with one of my electrical outlets. I called my regular electrician and they were booked solid until next week. I knew the problem was urgent so I found Mr. Sparky online. I called and the operator was wonderful! She was able to get someone out to my house within an hour of my call. They also called to let me know my technician was on his was and gave me his name so I knew who to expect. When my technician (Rene) arrived he was friendly, polite and professional. He used protective covers for his shoes so he wouldn't track dirt or mud into my house (and in fact had to take them off and put them back on multiple times throughout the day while he was here but never failed to do so). He was thorough and gave me a quote for both a cheaper repair option and a more expensive permanent fix option. When we realized the job would be bigger than I had originally thought he called a second technician to help so the job would go faster. The second gentleman (David) was also very professional and friendly. I can't say enough good things about my experience with this company. My home was definitely in danger from the problem I was having and I am so glad that I was able to get such professional service. Not to mention the warranty on their work which is transferable to the next homeowner should I choose to sell my home. I have a new electrician for sure! read more

In a day and age when we constantly are not happy with cost and services provided not only in our home but in all facits of our life. I found dealing with Mister Sparky a breath of fresh air, however it was not the company itself as much as the company employee who set the standard of the excellent service and product i recieved. Jeremy our technician went above and beyond of what i believe the company would have asked him to do , after working tirelessly all day long replacing our underground wire and breaker box, he insisted on staying until the light company showed up to hook us back up . Now the fact that the light company showed up 36 hours late is a whole different story and another not so contently written story however when a company treats its employee right it shows up and i believe Jeremy did what was expected by the company as well as by himself . In this case both should be proud that the customer felt like he was given the product and service he paid for and i would certainly recommend Mister Sparky and indeed Jeremy to do a job well done till completetion and satisfaction. Customer Service in America has not died! Our entire electrical panel went on the fritz during a full house gutter installation. I called my regular electrician but they were booked for the day. I called Mister Sparky and Mike arrived in an hour. He was courteous, knowledgeable and extremely efficient. He diagnosed the problem (our 40 year old electrical panel died..ha ha ha), explained what needed to be done and gave me a price up front. Everything needed for the job was on his truck and in less than 3 hours he had replaced the panel. The price was competitive with other quotes I had received for the replacement. Yes, there are situations where MS is more expensive than other companies, but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for" and I would rather have a skilled professional handling anything electric when it comes to my home investment. I recently had a motion sensing light switch installed at the top of my stairs and used my $50 OFF coupon to lower the cost. As usual, Mike was timely, efficient and professional. Woke up Valentine's Day to a wonderful gift. Only had electricity in part of home. At least the coffee pot worked. Called Mr. Sparky and Tommy was here by 9 am. Problem was diagnosed. One of the line coming into house was gone. Called the power company to see if it was on my end or their end. Power company was out within an hour. Next had lines marked in backyard. They were here by 11am. The problem turned out to be on my side of transformer box :(. Was given quote for replacement line and received discount on getting breaker box updated. Yuvanni and Marcus (intern) came to help. It did take all day but guys were friendly, respectfully, worked well together and made my Valentine's day the best. They ensured that all debris was cleaned and left my yard in great shape. I still tell everyone about my unique valentine's day gift. Thanks guys and Mr. Sparky. Our normal electrician has been unavailable the last couple weeks so I finally decided to find someone else to put a new light fixture in our law firm's conference room. I called and was able to get an appointment for the next day at a time that worked well for us. They called 30 minutes before showing up like they said they would and the electrician they send, Mike, even put on shoe covers before coming inside since it had been raining all day long. I was quoted a price and explained all the charges up front before any work was done and Mike even took a look at our emergency exit sign that he noticed was making a buzzing sound. He installed our fixture quickly and professionally, even taking time to wipe a smudge off our glass conference room door. I hired the folks at Mr. Sparky to do a electrical home inspection and some repairs. They were very professional, friendly and all the work was excellent. They trenched the yard to run a new cable to fix an outdoor electrical problem. They too great care in restoring the lawn to the condition it was in before they started. The work around the breaker box was well done also. I think the extra touch was that they performed a few minor repair jobs and hung an outdoor light fixture at no charge while they were doing the other work. The charges were very reasonable for all the work that was completed. Bottom line, I will use Mr. Sparky for any of my future electrical needs and would highly recommend them. read more

The good- great communication, very prompt and punctual. The technician was a great sales guy. The bad- we were WAY over charged. They installed a whole house surge protector and I have a second electrician here giving a quote and told me that the surge protector had been installed inside the wall and that it's supposed to be visible to that we could see any notifications. We got a quote from Mr. Sparky that included permitting and other things required within the city of Houston but we do not live within the city. My husband questioned this and the guy told us that if we wanted to be up to code... but there is not a code in the county. I am beating myself up for what we paid them to do what they did. read more

Wow what a great experience today, Mister Sparky took my call quickly and very professionally, set me up for an appointment the same afternoon, I called at 1pm, they said the appointment spread was 3 to 5pm. I was stunned it would be so efficient. I got a call when Brandon was 30 minutes away. He was on time, reviewed my breaker box and smoke alarm issues, wrote out two options, I signed the work order and bam, the work was done in about an hour. I have used Clint B. with Mister Sparky a couple times over the last year or two. He has inspected circuits (indoor & outdoor), outlet issues and main electrical panel. Clint B has always been prompt, very courteous and explains everything in detail. There are never any hidden costs that surprises you, although they are not the cheapest electrician in town. I believe in value and don't mind paying middle-of-the-road fees. Mister Sparky and Clint B. deliver excellent service that exceeded my expectations. Leonard arrived at the beginning of the window and was very professional, provided advice and recommendations with no pressure for future improvements.
