My…read moreusual electrical company, Blue Electrical Contractors, was super busy so I decided to try Nextdoor based on their Yelp reviews. I had them take down an old outdoor ceiling fan from my back porch and install two new ceiling lights: one in the same spot as the ceiling fan and the other over the seating area to provide more light (see photo). The job cost $572 which I thought was a little bit high, but I wanted the work done. Two big issues with the job: First of all, the technician didn't install the round ceiling light insulation discs in each fixture (see photo) which is to my understanding required to meet Underwriters Laboratory requirements. (The insulation is used to reflect heat from incandescent bulbs.) He also cracked one of the plastic conduit hangers so that it was actually broke. I found the insulation thrown in the garbage and had to dig them back out and have the technician come back to put them in and replace the broken hanger. Also, wasn't really keen on the fact that he used plastic hangers vs. metal to hang the conduit. Another issue was that I wanted a multi-outlet switch in my garage changed out to a standard outlet; see photo. Nextdoor quoted me $187 to change it out. Caido, from Blue Electrical Contractors stopped by and I had him look at it. It was only a cover; Caido unscrewed one screw and the regular outlet was underneath. I could have done it had I known this. It took Caid 5 seconds to take the multi-outlet cover off and he didn't charge me a thing. Okay. This is ridiculous! $187??!! This shows me the technician from Nextdoor Electric didn't even know what he was quoting. I was speaking to Caido from Blue Electric about Nextdoor and how I will never use them again, but can't understand their great reviews. Caido was telling me that Nextdoor's reviews could be fake and/or purchased. I really am questioning these reviews. I will never have them do any work for me again. Go with Blue Electric the next time you need electrical work; I have used them for years.

Fantastic company. This was a small job but it entailed a risky approach to simply installing a…read morecover plate above a very high ceiling above a stair. Mission accomplished. This required very long screws that were not painted and this was handled as well. The second task was to repair/replace and existing fan, again in a peaked ceiling of about 14'. Initial job was to test whether power was reaching the fan. It was not. Net step was checking the switches and it was not. On to checking the switch which turned out to be faulty. Upon replacement, fan actually worked. I was very impressed that one of the owners and a helper showed up on time (acutally a bit early). Job required both a 24 foot ladder and a 16 foot ladder. Price was exceptionally reasonable (less that cost of new 400 fan I was able to return via Amazon. These folks are the true deal with service, great attitude and bi-lingual. Do not hesitate to hire these folks. Angel and his team are exceptional, quality human beings.

Kim was a great resource in helping to review the best and most cost effective way to purchase the generator and how the whole process would evolve. Unlike other providers, they are straightforward and do not offer a bunch of other unnecessary add ons. Their goal was to provide a quality and cost effective finished product. Parco staff call you or text you back promptly responding to a question or request. When they made a commitment to schedule the installation, they stood by it. They explain what they are going to accomplish and why they are doing it that way. Aaron and his crew showed up on time and the installation was complete in about 4.5 hours. They do not take shortcuts and use high quality materials. Parco and the subcontractors were very professional and helpful. Even more important they have a rock solid maintenance and emergency response plan following the installation. Outstanding product and service!…read more We called Parco to install exterior lights in an otherwise dark and dreary entryway. Aaron and Wayne arrived on time and worked hard all day to install two lanterns and six can lights. To install the lanterns, they had to cut through drywall and brick to run electrical cable from the attic. Despite all the work to install the lights (on a hot November afternoon, none the less!), they left without a mess, and even swept and mopped the area they were working. Aaron and Wayne were courteous and professional all day - I truly enjoyed them working in the house! We most certainly will have them back out! In fact, we've already booked them for another project! It turned out to be defective and not supported by the manufacturer. He also figured out that an amateur had installed a dangerously underrated fuse in the circuit. So, now I have learned my lesson again and have professional installed Level-1 and Level-2 chargers with updated connections, outlets and wiring. It always pays to do it right the first time.

After waving for him to go around because he was in the slow land dribong the speed limit, the driver/owner started flipping us off while continuing to tail gate is. he then drove around and in front of us while yelling and still flipping us off. While starting to record him that's when he smiled and said "Go ahead and call. I'm the owner" All of this wouldn't have been such a big deal if he wasn't acting this way towards a juvenil.
