She offers several levels of courses, teaching all the important basics and skills, and also offers individual training sessions as well. She's super easy to reach if you have any questions when not in class, and seems to really love all her pupper students. I really love her approach to teaching, too. She teaches how to positively reward your dog so they can learn important skills that you might not have even thought about, while also teaching how to correct behaviors without having to turn to any sort of punishment that could hurt them like a shock collar or dog whistle. My dog absolutely loves her, and is thriving under her teaching. My biggest issues before training was barking when not getting what he wanted and pulling on his leash. Now, I have plenty of tools to turn to, to discourage the barking and he doesn't really pull when walking now. Like, the change with walks was so dramatic from even the first lesson on pulling, so I'm so happy! The way she trains is with your dogs happiness in mind. We learn about anxious behaviors so we can try and teach our pups in a way that keeps them happy and healthy. Her training isn't about forcing them to exemplify the behaviors fast, it's about doing them in a safe, healthy manner that ensures these behaviors last their whole life.

My dog's situation is lack of socializing with other dogs and I was very apprehensive about how he would react. I was amazed at how comfortable and stable the environment was kept. I'm not sure if my dog could feel it too but he was the most relaxed he's ever been with dogs around. I felt so happy leaving the trainings session because I knew I was working with professionals. The feeling of relief you get from that professionalism is amazing. I have full trust that with work and consistency, my pup will be a great learner.

They checked in on her morning, noon, and night--walking her, playing with her, feeding her, and giving her plenty of cuddles. It meant so much to us to be able to keep her at home, which is her favorite and most comfortable place, while still knowing she was being cared for throughout the day. Our dog Coco has a lot of anxiety and, in the past, needed medication just to be boarded. With Tallahassee Lassie, that wasn't necessary at all--she was relaxed, happy, and well cared for the entire time. This experience truly made a difference for both us and our pup. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, and we will absolutely be booking with them again!

Girl working told my wife he didn't eat all week. I carried him to the car and took him home. He never walked or stood again. Took him Monday 7/14 to be put to sleep. The vet at BAH examined my dog 3 days prior to his stay here and was also the one to put him down. He couldn't believe how bad he looked. I asked the office why they didn't call me. The response sorry they didn't tell me. I don't want a refund. I want you to close down. You have no business looking after people's pets.

We dropped our dogs off for a five day stay last week and when we picked them up our older dog…read moreseemed to be in distress. Plus both dogs stank so bad, I had to drive home with the windows open. My older dog is on medicine for an enlarged heart and another for a malabsorption disease. The woman who helped us picking up the dogs said that they did not give the malabsorption medicine to her but did give her the other pills. She said that she was not the one that did the intake (she was) and wasn't working over the weekend. I typed explicit notes on how much food, medication etc., the pills were organized in a pill container and I found that note crumpled up on the bottom of the bag with all their stuff. Over the next day my older dog was restless and panting so I ended up taking her to the emergency vet for treatment. She had fluid on her lungs and was put on oxygen and given IV treatment to remove the fluid. All in all it cost me $1,600. I truly believe they did not give her the heart medicine that keeps this from happening. I called and spoke with the owner who said he would "talk to the girls" about this and he was sorry. After thinking about this over the weekend, I called back and asked for a refund which I did not get. He said the girls claimed they gave her all her medicine, and I told him that I did not believe him. He said well he believed them and I was not getting a refund. It is clearly evident that I dropped off a dog exhibiting no apparent health problems and picked up a very sick dog. The owners really could have cared less about what happened. He basically paid me back with nothing but lip service. I will NEVER board my dogs there and recommend other do not use them. Side note: I live in Tallahassee not in California and I am not sure how my location changed.

Be warned that when the vet tech does an intake form with you and your dog, that she will then take your dog to the back room not just to get weight as is the norm but she AND the vet will then, allegedly, do everything you discussed with vet tech. After a long wait, the vet will come in and tell you the results of his, alleged, examination--still without your dog present. When questions were asked re costs for extra blood tests & whether records showed vaccinations from previous year (thus eliminating the need for them at appointment), the vet said he'd go check and return with the information. He never came back because he had already administered the vaccine and didn't want to tell you, and when the vet tech finally returned dog, she provided a doc showing vaccination had already been administered (so vet lied). There was NO written summary of the exam documenting what had been done. Conclusion: removal of animal for complete exam behind closed doors is suspicious and contrary to standard practice. Most vets/vet techs WANT the human involved with the exam. I have NO assurance that anything they billed me for doing actually occurred, nor do I trust this vet or vet tech. When all of this was relayed to both vet and vet tech, the only reply was they'd put it in my records that I wanted to be present during the exam of my dog. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG/CAT.

He has never had issues with being groomed before. Now, two years later my dog is still traumatized and cannot be groomed without heavy sedation. I regret not complaining and posting this sooner. I am not the type to complain, and assumed he was being rowdy, but it went beyond that. My dog was definitely seriously mistreated during his appointment and still traumatized by it.
