First time my partner and I went to this place. First of all, there was only one server working the entire place and she only came to our table once in the three hours we were there. It is faster to go to the bar and stand in line to place your drink order. Music is ok, jumps back and forth from English to Latin music. Being in the restaurant industry, very poor management. My twin sister and I spent our 60th birthday at Misty's. The accommodations were great. Our waitress Alyssa was on point. The appetizers were good. It's a pretty decent lounge, there's always live music, and the crowd is mixed w/ cougars, cubs, and black dudes trying to hit on every woman there! Compete w/ that! Most women here are not pretentious so it's cool if you want to ask a pretty lady to boogie-woogie w/ you. Some will say no because they actually are "better than you" and are probably waiting for a taller, blacker man to ask them to rumba. OMG - Pros: 2stars..Location, inside Lobby nice, Lounge pretty nice and clean.. The live band was good as usual no matter what venue they play..After that ..OMG Cons: Online flyer advertised ( Mistys open at 6p band 7p, so we were in line by 5:40p. $10.. & if staying in the hotel, $10. After 7:30p $15.. and this is just one reason it went all bad.. This particular band brings a large following from everywhere wineries etc. Therefore we clearly saw that quickly the lounge filled up with a line at the door. The place was beyond capacity inside early and not enough security with a couple servers to handle the size of crowd capacity and they were overwhelmed as evident in there responses when you tried to ask a question. Not enough bartenders who stated they were use to a slo trickle of early people and were taken off guard by the amount of people entering. People brought lrg parties 4 birthdays etc, but couldn't sit together because the Lounge policy is, no saving seats, strict dress code ( no provocative clothing, jeans with holes, no heavy chains etc, ) all of which were allowed in. Those with parties were standing in between the very small groups of tables almost with their butts on those already seated.. stepping on feet and spilling drinks on seated folks.. some at my table were recipients of all that. The drink menu had margaritas listed: peach pineapple strawberry etc. however, when we attempted to order some, the server said it was a misprint & do not serve those tmargaritas, ever, but had regular margaritas. The food orders came from the attached restaurant "Porters" and if you ordered early enough you got good food, hot and tasted good. As time went on, food orders were delivered from restaurant to bar area where they sat an got cold as not enough servers to get orders to tables. So most of our food came(4 in our party) but the person who had the smallest order had cold food sitting, & they went to the bar did a reorder of their food & picked it up for the table. From that point on, we had to go to the bar for our own water, drink changes etc. Tables really too small to serve food to more than 2 people so we also bussed our own tables to have more room to eat & one of us was offered a job. One of the bartenders said they are hiring Finally we started to see other servers coming in and other security after 8p. We observed the security ensured no one had drinks while on dance area but, clearing isles so you could walk or get out to bathroom was not included.. 7,8p came went w/no band. When we asked staff about the band, he said band was comin in at 9pbut at 9 p no band & people were heavily boozed up by then, some disorderly, falling down .. 9:20p the band showed up to organize on the little stage. 9:40p the DJ stopped playing the 70-80s dance music and band began. We stayed thru 1st set as we came for that band.. but when we were FINALLY, able to catch the server for checks, they were wrong and had to be redone 3x. before we could get up out if there. An interesting night ti say the least.. we were clearly, overdressed, worked for our food and drinks, spilled on, stepped on, backed into while sitting, tallied our own checks, clearly out classed and was not sure if things were going to become physical at any moment.. BUT.. we made it out, heard a bit of good music & food.. bounced and home all before 11:30.. quite an adventure if that's your kinda scene but as for us, not to be repeated.. ever They need to do better.. read more

This club is geared more towards the older crowd. Alot of oldie but goodie music. Doesn't really bother me. Can be refreshing sometimes from the younger crowd. I think there is a restaurant next door the menu looks good. Will eat there during the day time. read more

We asked the cashier if they play hip hop she said yes. We paid 30.00 for 2 people and its all old music, to top it off they played love song. I never been in a club like this before, you go to club to dance, not to fall asleep. We should have asked for refund. Rip off! read more

So I decided to come out to Misty's on 5-25-18 and the band was Pop Vision. I was not familiar with this band. Once they hit the stage I realized why I wasn't. This was like an episode of the Muppet Show. Usually the bands play for 45 minutes to an hour but not this one. They played hits like LaBomba, I love Rock b Roll, Twist and Shout, and many others that I have never heard played anywhere besides a movie or in the bathroom when I was having issues taking a s*** Fuck luckily I didn't bring my gun because I would have shot myself. Went for the first time last night with one of my girlfriends. The Dax band was performing and they killed it! That's probably the best part of the whole night. The female bartender knows how to make drinks but the two guys make them pretty weak. Mixed drinks are between $11 and $12 but I don't know about the beer. Definitely an older crowd. If you're in your 20s or 30s this probably isn't the place for you unless you like older friends. I didn't try the food so I can't comment on that. I'm not really a club person and I didn't like the constant attention from a lot of the men there. I wasn't dressed all trashy or anything but I've heard a lot of these people are regulars and I think they looked at me as fresh meat LOL! I always try to be polite and say no thank you but some of these guys were extremely persistent to the point that it was annoying. Would I go there again? Perhaps one day to get together with some of my girlfriends. I definitely won't be a regular because it's just not my thing. I also couldn't stand the smell of all that old lady perfume. Music is great with lots of dancing in servers that work there butts off! I did not try the food.

This was our first time there and it was really fun but they were understaffed as far as their servers on hand it took quite awhile to get a glass of milk and refills on water which was really irritating if you are the D.D. and are dancing a lot. I always have a great time with my friends dancing hanging out at Misty's. Last night we celebrated my friend DJ Dizzy's bday and had a blast. All of the guest DJs and Mellow Man Ace were on fire!! It has been the worst experience since we arrived. Took forever to get our drinks. Ordered food before happy hour was over and the server went on break and the new server never came back to check on us. By the time we were able to flag down another server to get ranch our food was cold. Server came back apologize and said she talked to the manager and they were gonna comp our food. That never happened. My friends drink was over charged then the "free"drink was ordered with easy grenadine and it was alll grenadine. I have been going to Misty's for many years. Mainly there really no where else to go without driving several miles to LA, San Diego or The OC. The place really hasn't changed over the years for the better or worse. We were there last night and had to suffer through some band named "Smooth Touch" that would had been tolerable if the server's were better. I think they 2 servers on duty. I made the mistake and went to the bar...45 minutes later I got my 2 beers and Remy. The club could be better if the eliminated the live band and went with just a DJ.... Those desperate old county workers don't care what or who playing the music, just as long they leave with something. read more

My review is based on what locals told me vs my experience. I was expecting a happening place with on older crowd. I was told the food was good but expensive, and the drinks were pricey for the location. My experience was very blah. The band had great potential but dumbed down their abilities and just were ok. The house music was great, the band made me want to go to sleep. The service sucked, took 30 minutes to get a drink and then paid way too much for crap wine, although house alcohol is decent. Our pizza had great crust sauce and toppings but you barely notice because it was just cheese, a lot of cheese. Oh and you better be staying at the hotel or plan on walking because there is no parking. Ok what the hell does a collar prove? I was wear a 130$ Pierre Cardin shirt, super dressy, v-neck, super nice dress pants and designer shoes. There were guys in line dressed like truck drivers, doesn't bother me how they were dressed. They got in and I was deemed improper because my top was designed without a collar. The stupidity of Misty's dress policy is beyond common sense. To prove this I went to my car and dug a dirty sweaty long sleeve dress shirt that I wear at work on hot days. Much cooler than company supplied Cotten long sleeve shirts. I mean this shirt had burn splatter from weld stains from dirt and sweat. And I strolled back in the line and was let in.
