Something didn't feel right, so I contacted Ken at Safe Auto Service and made an appointment. I brought the car to Safe Auto. They did a test drive and pulled the wheels apart for inspection. Ken informed me my brake pads were good and did NOT need service. He could have just as easily confirmed I needed work and charged me. An HONEST man! I now have a new repair shop going forward.

I parted ways with them and was introduced to an Auto dealer Through Facebook Market place, who was just one of many places who carried Automotive Edge in the cars and trucks they sold. I called Automotive Edge and was introduced to a man named Jon Marshall. After talking with Jon, And inspecting the awesome Truck we had been looking at, no hard sale, no intrusive approach, My wife and I asked If we could take a test drive, Jon Copied our licenses, and we were on the road! When we came back, we went into thee office and said "WE'RE SOLD" THE TRUCK IS A BEAUTY, it only has 65,400 miles on it, No rust AT ALL!!!, I saw the truck of my dreams, and it was $19,500. Joe Duddie cost us our vehicle due to his negligence, and we were forced to take him to civil court, where a judge ordered him to return our payment. Despite this, Joe ignored the court's deadline, and even after I personally reached out and gave him an extra 24 hours to respond, he never replied. Joe Duddie is not the kind of person who takes accountability. He lies, leaves out critical information about the work he performs, and when things go wrong, he refuses to take responsibility. Just like others have shared in their reviews, our experience echoes a pattern of shady practices -- Joe performs faulty work that ends up ruining vehicles, and then refuses to inspect or correct his own mistakes. My first delt with a repair in relation to a loud noise from what I was explained was a bearing issue in the rear. Along with a new alignment and other services, the repairs were made at a very high cost. There was no noice and the car was in good shape. In a few months, the same exact noise returned. I returned it to Saf T Auto only to discover that the caliper was "frozen" and I needed more repairs that would cost $1,300 +. It was explained that the bearing was not the issue this time around. It was the caliper. I decided that alone should be fixed because I simply could not afford to pay the larger cost. I was assured the caliper replacement would fix the issue with the noise. After the repairs, I picked up my vehicle and drove off and immediately my alert AWD light came on. I returned back to the Saf T Auto where they fixed the alert light. After traveling less than two minutes, the same exact noise that was the issue to begin with returned. I contacted Neil. He said that the bearings will have to be changed after all. I refused to pay for additional services because the part was under warranty by Saf T Auto. Neil concede that it was and explained that it will be fixed at all cost in three more days. What troubled me the most was that the underlined issue of the noise conming from the rear was never repaired after I was assured that the caliper was the issue. And to insinuate that the bearings needed to be changed at an additional cost intially then to confirm that they were under warranty after I refused to pay the cost is severely suspect. No apologies we're given. No "we will repair as soon as possible." I was told it was safe to drive around with damaged bearings. Somehow, I believe that is not an accurate statement. I'd give no stars if I could to reflect this second visit.
