TF "We're not that busy right now. How's 9:30?" Me "Perfect! See you then!" I arrive at 9:25. Greeted by Mark. Super friendly. Checks the tires and mileage. We go back into the store. He pulls out three tires to show me, NONE of which were what I came for. TF "Uh, we don't have those exact tires in the store but if you need them right now I sell you one of these for [roughly $150 more!]" I looked him straight in the eye and said "ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I called ahead, asked for a SPECIFIC tire, and was told they were IN STOCK! Now you want to pull a bait and switch up-sell? NOT HAPPY! HAVE A NiCE DAY!" turned and walked out of the store. He chased me into the parking lot to say "Sir, we can have them here this afternoon if that's okay." Me "NO! IT'S NOT OKAY! I had an APPOINTMENT for 9:30 to have this specific tire installed. My SUV needed new brake pads and rotors. Got it changed here back in Nov 2020. By Jun 2021, the…read morefront rotors had warped with the car shuddering everytime you braked and needed to be replaced. Replaced it under warranty. So far so good. But the front rotors warped AGAIN by Aug/Sep. Now I was being told that the brake calipers had to be changed for an additional $1,000. Why didn't they find this as an issue before? Why was my SUV working fine for the first 6 years/50,000+ miles, now having brake/rotor issues every 3-6 months? I didn't get the impression they knew what they were doing. I went back to the dealership and got it fixed right. I tried to save some $$$ but it ended up costing me a whole lot more (and the dealer found no issues with the calipers, just the brake pads).
