I was in a rush when I picked it up and just grab the paperwork and the keys and paid for it. The next day, I remembered that I had had a problem with another Town Fair Tire with some damaged rims and I went out to check and three of the floor rooms were damaged. I immediately called the store and spoke with the manager Rick and he asked me to send him some photos so I did and I never heard from him again I felt it was the holidays and people are busy so I waited till the middle of January and then I reached out to the corporate office sent them photos and Talked to to the regional manager. Still never heard anything from him, and I had to call back again and he called me the next day and assured me that they had been a managerial change and the new manager would be reaching out to me the next day. Well, I'm still waiting to hear from him as well and as far as I know, Rick is still the manager so I'm not sure what he's talking about I just cannot believe this is the second time this has happened to me and the only reason I went back is because a very close friend of mine does a lot of work there and recommended them I was just down at the rim repair Shop and they told me this isn't the first time that they've heard a story like this about Town Fair Tire. Went to Hamlin and Sons for first time service today.. thought i had a starter problem;…read moreneeded replacement, but they worked hard and checked, Starter appeared fine but cable bolt was totally corroded. Any other service shop would have just replaced starter and charged me an extra $700.00 but Hamlin and Sons tried something different, carefully disassembled cable, cleaned post and voila, starter repaired. My SUV needed new brake pads and rotors. Got it changed here back in Nov 2020. By Jun 2021, the…read morefront rotors had warped with the car shuddering everytime you braked and needed to be replaced. Replaced it under warranty. So far so good. But the front rotors warped AGAIN by Aug/Sep. Now I was being told that the brake calipers had to be changed for an additional $1,000. Why didn't they find this as an issue before? Why was my SUV working fine for the first 6 years/50,000+ miles, now having brake/rotor issues every 3-6 months? I didn't get the impression they knew what they were doing. I went back to the dealership and got it fixed right. I tried to save some $$$ but it ended up costing me a whole lot more (and the dealer found no issues with the calipers, just the brake pads).
