I took it to the dealership first and let's just say the quote had me giving a serious bombastic side eye. As a BMW owner, I have severe PTSD from various BMW service mechanics from past experiences, so I started looking for other options. From the moment I arrived at Caleb's Group Auto, the experience was completely different. Charles provided exceptional customer service. He took the time to explain what was wrong, why the AC stopped working, and what needed to be done to fix it. Throughout the process, he kept me informed and never made me feel pressured or confused. He answered all of my questions, too. The waiting area was comfortable enough for me to get some work done, and they offered snacks and water. The restroom was nearby and surprisingly very clean for an auto repair shop. The facility itself is huge, and everyone I encountered was just as friendly and professional as Charles. Most importantly, they fixed the problem that day and charged a reasonable price. Charles even recommended a mobile detailing service, which I ended up using the very next day. If you own a luxury foreign vehicle like a BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, or similar, and you're looking for an alternative to the dealership, this shop is worth considering. His son has a similar car to mine, so that also made me more relieved bc he definitely knows how to take care of it. While I was waiting, I browsed through the Yelp reviews and noticed most of them were older, so I'm happy to add a more recent positive experience. The managers have implemented safety measures that reassured me (everyone was wearing masks, lysol spray readily available, and sanitizer everywhere). Dropped off for a minor repair on mass air flow code that was part of a previous job completed that cost me $365. They charged me $97 to clean the mass air flow system which I feel should been done previously or covered under warranty. When I went to pick up my vehicle I noticed a puddle under the car on passenger front wheel. So I decided to take pics and let them know the following day. They said they would pick up the car and look it over because the repair should not cause any fluid leaking. I called them to see what the issue was and they said I need a water pump and would cost $700 plus. I couldn't understand how a water pump would go bad from sitting on there lot for 48hrs. I have not had any indications of any issues with the water pump. I decided to find another mechanic and they quoted $250 for the repair. I never got a response from the manager/owner addressing my emails that I sent. Never Again!
