I am always surprised by the number of new model and high priced luxury cars that are brought into the shop. When I bought my new used car a few years ago I brought it in for the once over and would only finalize the purchase after this shop said it looked good. Over 200k miles later, outside of minor things, I have only needed brakes and a starter over the years. More than a decade ago I had an estimate given for a repair from another shop for a drivetrain differential issue (big trouble and huge dollars). I was told by AAMCO that the issue required an entire new differential system ($2500)!! On a recommendation from a friend, I took the car to Hi Tech and the owner, Mr. Long Ho, after assessing the issue realized all that was needed was a shift solenoid which cost only $50.....installed!!! From that day on Long Ho is the only person to work on my vehicle. He does it all, even auto electric. He even allows you to bring in parts that you buy online or from an auto parts store like Advance Auto or Pep Boys. Because I like high performance ceramic brake pads and drilled rotors, I bring in my own brake components and he installs them no issue for the same fixed price. The shop is all by itself on the outskirts of what was once the glorious Landover Mall. The Mall was demolished about 10 years ago but Long Ho and his shop in the parking lot remained. It is on an island all by itself, but still thriving because he is honest and low priced. It is hard scrabble but do not let the looks deceive you. It you want the glitz and free coffee from dealerships, this is not the place for you. If you want an honest estimate of your car's issue at a low price, done in an efficient amount of time....this is the place. The waiting room is sparse and the restroom is super basic so plan on dropping off and not waiting there unless it is something minor that will take an hour or two. The words "honest mechanic" and "low price auto repair" are the most important words here. Disregard the hard scrabble, Spartan surroundings. Trust Long Ho, he and his crew are fair and honest and those words are worthy of five stars.

I took two door panels from my 2002 Kenworth W900 tractor to Mr. Mosley for repair a few months…read moreago. I checked in on them monthly and specifically asked that he repair the ripped gray area and reinforce the board. I trusted Mr. Mosley's long-standing reputation in the business, hoping for a high-quality result, especially since I couldn't be there in person. A family member dropped by to check on the panels and was informed that they were ready. They paid $250 and picked them up on my behalf. When I saw the finished panels, I was incredibly disappointed. The panels were cheap-looking and nothing like the original ones I had given him. I had expected a professional and durable repair, but what I received was far from it. The first photos show the new and original panels, the second photo is the original panel and the last two show what was returned to me by Mr. Mosley. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet the high expectations I had based on his reputation. Also, the holes for door handle weren't cut out. How do you miss holes with the original door panel in your possession? I would not recommend Mr. Mosley for auto upholstery. The quality simply didn't match the price or my expectations.

African American gentleman and Steelers fan, (unfortunately lol). Very friendly and customer experience focused having been in business at this same location since 1985. Gave him the basics of what I was looking to do on my X5 and he gave me a preliminary price of $650 to redo the entire headliner A&B pillars within the upholstery of the vehicle. Invited me down for him to take a look at it so we could finalize things - which I did. That was on Thursday - 11/11. I was pleased that his price didn't change even though he also had to do the sunroof (which I mentioned over the phone). He told me to bring it in in one week which was yesterday (Thursday -11/18) morning and I'm here now on Friday afternoon (11/19) waiting as they button up the project and reinstall my sunroof. Anyone else would have charged me at least $200-$400 more and one place that I know of (that I used for another vehicle) would have charged me about $1,500 for the same work - and taken several days. Not only is Mr Mosely skilled having been doing car upholstery for many decades, but he's also FAST. It's him and his assistant Henry, and one other gentleman that I saw. The interior of my truck looks better than brand new with an exact color match to the sun visors and I'm more than thrilled that it didn't cost me an arm and three fingers to get the project done. Payment = cash or check only. No credit cards accepted. Good business. Fast turnaround. Terrific price. No more saggy/discolored interior. Who could ask for more? I'm over the moon with joy!

I decided to take a chance and go with them and hope for the best. Well I got the best with Diamond. I've had such horrible experiences at other auto body shops, but not here! Irene was great. I dropped my car off on a Friday afternoon. Picked up a rental a few streets away from Enterprise. The following Monday they called me with an estimate and told me to expect my vehicle about 10 days later. They got it done within a week and my baby looked brand new. Obviously somebody here is incompetent & caused wiring issues with my car but they don't want to be held liable, insisting that this issue came from the accident although I was driving the car for 2 weeks after my accident & it didn't have issues.
