I would NEVER recommend this location! NEVER! Awful. They had my car for over a month. The customer service was horrible from day one, but I wanted my Nissan serviced here because it is connected to a Nissan dealership and was on the USAA list. When I tell you from the lack of communication to the lack of concern for customer concerns...this is the worst center I have ever been to. When I picked up my car, I could barely drive home. My car was wonderful before. The customer service representative never called me to inform me of what the dealership service center told them about my car. I didn't even know they had the dealership look at it. Then, they spoke with my insurance company to tell them they don't think the issue came from the accident. Therefore, my insurance did not continue paying for the service. At the end of this ordeal, the representative there would not tell me my car was safe to drive. He specifically said he did not want to tell me that. Although they said I had to come pick it up or I would have to pay a storage fee. My car was safe to drive prior to the incident that made me tow the car there in the first place. So, now I had to buy a new car, but I bought a new car somewhere else. I wouldn't even go to the Nissan dealership if I have to deal with that center. I think they took advantage of me since I'm a women and they were disrespectful because I am a Black woman. I should've listened to my insurance company when selecting a collision shop to work on my Mazda CX5. While Passport Collision states that they are certified Mazda repair shop - and they pride themselves on doing work that reflects factory standards of the car, the same cannot be said for their process or customer service. I brought my car to the Collision Center on September 5th. My Insurance Agent had already inspected and estimated the payments by September 6th. I had an email conversation with myself, the adjustor, and Passport Collision all included on the message with the approved documentation from the insurance company. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On September 12th, I received a text saying that Passport Collision was waiting on the insurance adjustor to go over and inspect my car - when they had already gone, inspected the car, and submitted the appropriate paper work on September 6th. They had sat on that email for a week.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was only when I called Passport to ask why they hadn't begun work yet that they realized they had the information needed to continue. Kevin, my Passport rep, said "sometimes this happens".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I gave him the benefit of the doubt. A supplement order was needed for the work, and that was submitted and taken care of quickly by my insurance on September 25th. My insurance closed the claim. I called last week to check in on the progress and was told my car would be ready on October 16th. Well today is that day when my car was supposed to be completed, my agent at Passport is out - so I spoke with the manager. Manager informs me another supplement is needed. And my car likely won't be ready until next week. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I explain to the manager my frustration with their process and follow-up methods - not only with me but with the insurance company. He takes no responsibility - and says that it's down to the insurance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, I already know for a fact they sat and sat for at least a week when work could've started, parts could've been ordered etc. What I learned during this process is - 1. Passport Collision does not have the administrative structure to communicate effectively with insurance companies/adjustors or customers, 2. When they are presented with documented breakdowns in process and communication, they do not take any responsibility or provide solutions - they shrug it off, 3. I would not trust their timelines or work schedules, and would not recommend using them for any repair as they are either overwhelmed with repairs or can't prioritize effectively. Took our truck here after a tree fell on it and not only did Passport take too long, they wiped the glass all over the interior and left tiny cuts throughout the vinyl then tried to tell USAA that that was from the accident. Customer service was good although there was a communication issue yet the workmanship was mediocre. My 2018 Infiniti q60 was brought to Passport collision back in August of 2023 due to vandalism. Since the collision center is connected to Passport Infiniti I would expect the work to be done properly and on time; but I was completely wrong. 1st off it took 4 months to replace my wheels and replace my broken passenger window and had to spend almost $4000 on rental because of the runaround. 2nd the repair left scratches on my chrome trim and stain marks on the leather on the door, 3rd incorrect tint; when I specifically stated if they didn't have the correct tint not to tint my car, 4th my car inside was not vacuumed because there was shattered glass still in my car. They didn't even do a detail smh, I had to notify the staff of the broken glass upon pick up. Lastly the cost of almost $12,000 to my insurance; maybe a street mechanic could do better. Another funny thing is when I took my car to the Infiniti service center after new year for a oil change and they asked if my car tires were rotated and aligned; I hope it was since it was apart of the bill of repair This was very disappointed with Passport collision considering the time, workmanship, inconvenience and cost. read more

My experience here was GREAT! I was able to rent a vehicle directly from Passport Collision Center, which made it a lot easier. My car was ready within 4 days, well before the projected date. I have a special paint and was very concerned about the work being noticeable, I can tell you I've looked at my car in the sunlight from every angle possible and their is no evidence of repair. REVIEW UPDATE: Overall, I would recommend Passport Collision, specifically Wryan, but with the following cautions: 1. Take your own pictures of your vehicle 2 Discuss and have them to note anything that's pre-existing 3. When picking up, do a thorough overview of the inside & outside of your vehicle When their vendor, Capitol Glass, replaced the windshield, somehow, it was scratched too; luckily, Justin caught it and brought it to my attention and immediately placed an order for another windshield. Here are a few things that was disappointing more so with Capitol Glass not Passport. 1. Debris from the molding was left inside my car; Capitol Glass not Passport thought to vacuum/inspect before giving it back to me. Justin obliged after I called it to his attention. 2. Black smudges were left around the beige doorframe and cloth interior. 3. The interior doorframe on the right side was not snapped back into place. 4. There was an overwhelming smell of glue fumes once I got into the car that lingered for almost two weeks. 5. The rubber on the cowl of the windshield was severely cracked/missing in places because it was old- understandable, but no one thought to mention that after returning the car to me and possibly suggesting replacing it to ensure optimal quality & to prevent water leakage after the installment of the 2nd replacement windshield. Justin was apologetic as most of the above was Capitol Glass, but he took owners that Passport reps should have inspected and cleaned the car before returning it to me. I did place an order for the windshield cowl, so it could be replaced with the 2nd replacement windshield Once the 2nd replacement windshield came in, Passport Collision, Wryan and Justin, were very accommodating and provided great service. read more

Bringing my Knyght here was a ginormous error!! Soooo, my Knyght has been in the shop for an additional two weeks with a second body shop. Passport Collision Center had my Knyght for 100+ days! They refused to repair it for a 4th time I think! This is mortifying! If I had not been vigilant with State Farm for them to intervene, I would not have known about the repairs that were the nucleus of the car..the uni-body! I primarily had immense issues with the aesthetics. I never would have known that the repairs were shoddy and not even done! This is very scary! They received $12,000, and didn't do the work! This is off-topic...but I bought/leased 13 NEW cars from Passport Infiniti of Alexandria (12) and Passport of Suitland (1). I was banned from the Suitland Store by the current GM because I wrote a true review...not-so-flattering review to him...he is very unprofessional and patronizing! I have been writing to the owners for almost a month. They have yet to reply. They had the audacity to tell their attorney they couldn't do business with me because I was threatening them! Noooo, I was just advocating for myself! As a consumer, I have a legal right to inform a company if a disservice has been done to me. I don't think they have had a customer to purchase 13 cars consecutively....have you? I am in the process of getting an attorney coupled with contacting a few news outlets - media and print!! Although I was banned from the store, I still brought my car there because I still had a rapport with some of the employees- who are phenomenal! I'm really in dismay about this shoddy-subpar repair! This is the pinnacle of this saga....I was told I want a perfect car...really??!! My Knyght is black with a plethora of swirls; compound and overspray ; coupled with costing a few pennies and it was still new...only 7 months old! My mother referred me to Passport because she has used their service with USAA multiple times because the work is guaranteed. I trusted her recommendation. I don't know if it's because to them I have no "status" or because my car insurance appears to be off brand but I did not receive the same service. I dropped my car off April 7th to Sharon ( my rep.) she explained that she would keep in contact due to parts being delayed and me having a rental vehicle just in case I have to extend my reservation. After 30 days I still had not confirmed whether my car was ready or not and had to call consistently before getting a call back. Once I spoke with Sharon on May 9th (days after I originally called) she said my car needed to be painted and that it had to dry to be test driven and it will be ready by May 20th. On May 20th I called to confirm because I still had to extend my rental car reservation two additional weeks and wanted to return the vehicle the same day. I had taken off from work to handle this business. I spoke with David the manager, who knew nothing about my vehicle and Sharon was miraculously out that day as well. I explained my situation (in an elevated tone because of what I had already gone through) because he told me nothing had been done to the vehicle and even compensated me for my deductible because of the mishandling and poor customer service. David also explained that the car still needed to be painted and test driven as well and should be done no later than May 26th. I extended my reservation again with Enterprise to that day and also took an additional day off from work risking a mandatory probation by my supervisor. I returned my rental vehicle and contacted Passport to check the status and Sharon explained that my vehicle wouldn't be ready for another week and I immediately asked to speak to David. He called hours later explaining that it would not be ready until May 27th by midday after the car has been test driven. I then asked if I could have someone pick up the key and then they will bring me back to pick up the vehicle and then I will put the check written out to Passport from the insurance company in a Dropbox. I have to work from 8:30am until 9:00pm with multiple jobs this weekend, a holiday, and 12 hour shift Tuesday. Even with all their inconveniences and lies I still maintained a respectable manner without getting the proper care and respect I truly deserve as a customer. I know how auto body shops increase prices based off of how you are going to pay. My insurance company immediately mailed out the check after the claim was made and did the same when they increased the price. I explained to David I have had the check for almost two months now and that there is nothing I can do with it so they can definitely get their money. However, they decided to call my insurance to inquire about the check and was going to cancel the check and give me my car on contingency of payment. I have the payment and have made several attempts to come and pay the balance with the addressed check but they will not accommodate me or my schedule. After all of this I have spent well over $700 personally in rental car fees and truly didn't have to if my car was taken care of when it was suppose to. This business is poorly represented and has the customer service of a 1 star McDonald's. I will never waste my time and money again. You shouldn't either!! read more

My was hit at the beginning of October and every collision/Autobody place had told me to even get my car in would be 2/3 weeks, Passport got my car in quickly and even though they had my car for 3 weeks they stayed in communication with me through every step. The customer service is phenomenal and for that I give them 2 stars, but the reason I came here was for professional work to be done on my vehicle. The work quality is horrible. It took me coming back 3 times until they were finally able to completely fix my vehicle to my satisfaction. There was overspray and lumps in the paint work. This is a BMW and Infiniti certified repair site so they should be able to service those brands exceptionally. I was not impressed. I was treated well, but the work disappointed me. This could have been avoided if the people painting the vehicle just checked over their work. This finished product was great, but it took too many trips to the shop to get there. read more

Warning! Steer clear of this Bodyshop. Quantity is more important than Quality here. If you care what your car looks like do not bring it to this Bodyshop. I had them work on my car and when I finally picked it up the bodywork was wavy, paint match was too light and they did not paint a door jam. After five weeks of complaining they took the car back to take care of my discrepancies. Very fast turnaround but the colour match was still off and the panels they repaired left much to be desired. After another month of complaining they took it back for third time and the colour match is still off. Three strikes your out! I had to pay out of pocket to another Bodyshop to correct the colour match and flatten out the bodywork. They do not have a personal touch when it comes to working on vehicles. Flawless experience from reception to pick up. When I was sideswiped a couple of weeks ago, I was extremely reluctant to go to the body shop his insurance (Allstate) worked with. I even told the adjustor as much. Having had an outrageously terrible experience with another insurance company (Progressive) when I was rear-ended several years ago, I was worried that the shop would serve the insurance company's interests rather than mine. I was not only relieved by my experience at Passport, I was thrilled. They did excellent work in a timely manner, were friendly and accommodating from beginning to end, and there was never a single whiff of shady dealings with either the insurance company or other parties. I am a happy camper! Wryan Cannaday is the absolute best! He made what could have been a horrible experience a seamless experience. From the moment I called for an appointment to the time I picked up my HRV he was my guide. Matter of fact, when I went to pick up my car I was very surprised to find out this is a young man! however the level of customer service was that of someone that has been in the business many years. So fare there are no complaints about the technical work, if there are I will update this review, but I just don't anticipate any problems. He kept me updated on the service that was being done, he arranged rental car pick up and drop off. I looked my car over and it actually looked better than before the accident:). There business hours work well 730 am to 6 pm and location is good, located right off the belt way and right around the corner from enterprise rent a car. The main thing I like about Passport Collision Center was,"the availability of service". In the past I've used another collision place, and they had walk in appointments however this time I could't be seen until 9/18/18 a week plus after the accident occurred. So I picked Passport as default, they saw me the same day I called. If I ever need this kind of work again I will come back to Passport. With that being said, don't think I've had multiple accident because I haven't:). If you want prompt immediate service come to Passport. If you want seamless service come to Passport. One other thing if you need to get to work on time their location is really close to the belt way and not to fare from the metro, how good does it get (oh did I say they have a lifetime warranty on the work they do!). Please do not leave your car here without calling them everyday. They kept my car 53 days. Charged my insurance for my car and a rental car over 5,000 for a minor scratch and a rear bumper. My car probably sat in their lot 30 days untouched due to rain and weather and waiting. No one said, we are charging you everyday for the rental. They tried to bill me over $700 additional dollars for the rental. Then the rental lady tells the cashier"Get it from her" what made her think she could just get it from me! Rude!!!! After all of this, my brand new battery was dead! So my car was just sitting in their lot Dead! And they want me to pay for mismanagement, miscommunication, rudeness! Basically HORRIBLE! I dropped my BMW off there on 1/16/17 to repair a "crack" in the bumper. I was originally told it would be ready by 1/19/17 which would have been a three day turn around and would have made sense for that type of repair. 1/19 rolls along and I don't even receive a call from the service tech to let me know that the work will be delayed. I call and he says they need one more day to complete the job. 1/20 rolls around and and it's 5 pm and still no call. I have to call him to find out that they "messed up" on the paint job and now my vehicle will not be ready until sometime on 1/24. 1/24 rolls around today and it's 4:30 pm and still no word about my vehicle. I have to call the service tech again to find out that it "should" be ready tomorrow or if I get lucky possibly before closing time today and if so, he will call me... BULLSHIT! He did not follow up with me not one time like he should have during this entire process. How hard is it fix a bumper and paint it?? I know it shouldn't take 10 days! I can only imagine how long it would have taken if I had severe damage done to my vehicle. I see why the reviews here have a bunch of one star ratings. I should of followed my gut and taken my vehicle to Marlo Auto Body in Marlow Heights. I had at least three repairs done there over a course of six years. Everytime they're are courteous, they follow up, and they do the job right the FIRST time and in a reasonable amount of time. Never again!
