We are on the trip to Orlando, we made a quick stop at an Atlanta local popular beef grill. Ribeye, brisket, all-you-can-eat meat--seriously good beef! The chicken is dry, but all the grill beef is so delicious! Dessert is so good too! The place is small, and not many tables, but the food is fresh. Even with a 45-minute wait, we couldn't resist. Pretty typical serve yourself Brazilian. Hot bar was forgettable (sans "beef rice" - if it's available get it, unique umami and excellent). Cold bar lacked some options but had the staples, tomato salad, beets, etc. Picanha was great. Fatty, crispy edges, perfect amount of salt. Pork loin was overcooked and dry. Garlic beef suffered the same fate, but packed a punch with the garlic. Bacon wrapped chicken had high quality bacon but again dry. If you're in the area, works in a pinch. read more

And it's so hard to get your foot in the door at dinner time. Food and service is A+. The staff is alway super friendly and food is phenomenal!!!! I could eat here everyday. The rules are fairly simple, when native Brazilians tell me that Beef Grill is most traditional and best option for churrasco in the area, then I have to visit. Just for the record, those folks were spot on. Beef Grill is by far my favorite option for Brazilian barbecue in Sandy Springs and it is not even close! Located in an easy to miss strip mall, Beef Grill offers the churrasco two ways, buffet style (AKA rodizio) or to-go by weight. Not only does Beef Grill pride itself in its meats, I would argue that they're one of the top options for meat regardless of style or culture. When you walk in, you're instantly greeted by the aroma of the grill. You then smell the barbecue and you just want to grab a plate and get started. The meats are actually at the end of the line and you have to talk to grill master to get what you want, as all of the meats are spinning, fresh in front of you. There are so many different options, beef, pork, chicken and even lamb. My biggest recommendations are the picanha and the sausages. The picanha is the cream of the crop Brazilian meat, and they do such a great job with it. The meat is tender, juicy and seasoned well. Plus, it has the beautiful fat ring. The sausages are smoky, and juicy. Every bite is jam packed with flavor. If you're feeling quite unsure of yourself, the grill masters are always pleasant and willing to help you make a decision. The rest of the buffet is satisfactory, and well balanced. Beef Grill has a lot of the Brazilian staples such as their rice and beans (feijão) and also has a small salad bar to keep things fresh. While everything is pretty good, don't lose sight of the meats, that's where the real value and quality is located! Beef Grill also gets massive bonus points for their inclusion of dessert to the buffet. They have sweet coconut pudding and pudim (Brazilian flan) that allows you to balance all of the savory of the meal with some sweet. Beef Grill has certainly earned the respect of the local Brazilian community, and has definitely earned my seal of approval. My final recommendation would be to visit early. It's a pretty small restaurant, and seats fill up quickly! I've been where I was told there was an hour wait at 1:00 PM. If you find yourself having time, then I would wait it out. This place is a Hidden Gem in Sandy Springs. I used to live over here and they have a lot of these smaller Brazilian steakhouse establishments that rival any of the big ones. You will come in and it will be no more then 10 tables and they're probably. Sometimes you have to wait a little bit for people to leave but it's worth it to me. You come in and grab your plate and your silverware and then you can go shopping in the salad bar area. Although I don't actually go for salad LOL why would I go to a steakhouse to eat lettuce lol! But it's there if you want to balance out the unrivaled amount of meat in your diet for the day. They have another part of the bar that has hot food. If you wanted some rice or some beans or something along those lines, you can get this at the hot part of the bar as well. But why I am going there is to make sure that I eat all of the steak! They have at least 10 different types of cuts of meat. And you can get as much as you want, as long as you're able to stomach it! The fact that it's solid and good enough to be just as comfortable as Texas de Brazil or Fogo de Chao means a lot, but the biggest selling point is the fact that it's half the price! This place pre-pandemic was the spot. Post pandemic its a shit show and a half, with a stench when you walk in the door that reeks of bad meat and unwashed ass. There is a 45 minute wait on a Sunday afternoon. Understandable, considering that its small. What pissed me off was the guy at the desk was intentionally telling people random times with EMPTY TABLES available. The group in front of us had six people, he told them an hour. I finally got to try this place out for lunch. I came here on a Thursday morning around 11am. Apparently the lunch crowd hadn't got here. The parking lot is very small and I can see it being a problem to find parking. It's in the same shopping center as a Subway. It looked like it's $14.99 per person for the sit down AYCE. They also offer take out. Dining area is super small, I counted maybe like 7 tables. The staff was wearing masks. No temperature checks were conducted. There are gloves for you to wear while getting food at the buffet bar. The highlights for me at the bar was: potatoe salad, corn, yellowish rice with meat, cream cheese filler ravioli, and fried plantains. As far as the meats, you go up to the counter and they cut the meats for you. I tried the Pichana, Beef Brisket, Top Siroloin, Ribeye, Bacon wrapped chicken, and grilled Pineapple. Everything was fresh and tasty super juicy. If you love steak, this is like heaven. I also tried their green dipping sauce. Super good!! For the price, the food was great. The meat was freshly cooked over a charcoal grill, and after you picked up all your sides you had a choice of over 10+ meats which they then cut for you. We tried the beef rib, garlic beef, sirloin, and ribeye, as well as a variety of sides. All the meats we tried were perfectly seasoned and cooked with a perfect fat cap on top! They also had a small selection of desserts (fruits, ,flan, jello, coconut rice pudding) that perfectly balanced out the heavy meats we just ate. The staff were also amazing and super nice. It's half the price of Fogo, for meat that's just as good. Everything else though is far inferior. Given that you'll save 30 bucks a trip in comparison... that's still a 5 star review. This place is SMALL. As in, can host around 25 people in the entire restaurant small. It's also largely self serve. There isn't very much beyond the meat. The salad bar is nondescript and tiny. Getting grilled meat is not an experience for introverts. There's a grill master who will carve things for you in front of you, but you have to tell them what you want. They'll let you know what's available, but it does require some dialogue and discussion to find out and get what you'd like. Quality wise though, they're great. Brazilian steak is amazing and Beef Grill is no exception. But this is not a fancy place and they're really only open for Lunch. The meat variety is more than impressive enough. The sides are pretty great as well, ranging form cheese bread to lasagna, beef stew, fried shrimp, plantains, etcs. This place fills up quick so come early or be prepared to wait. It's definitely worth trying if you're craving steak. If you're wanting Chama or Fogo, don't come here to save money. They're nowhere near the same price point and you won't get the same thing. Think of this as a cheap steakhouse & don't have too high of expectations & you'll really enjoy yourself. Highlight: Hole in the wall Brazillian steak house- similar to Fogo de Chao minus the ambiance, bougie, and beer- but for all the carnivores out there who just want a good meat fest. Superb beef tenderloin, chicken, pineapple, lamb, chicken heart paired with a salad cold cuts bar and a dessert bar featuring South American sweets. 15$ for all you can eat is really not bad at all for a buffet that features Brazilian steak. Meats: You have a guy manning the meats that are skewered and slowly roasted and kept soft over a charcoal area and he shaves off amounts for you to use a tong to pick up onto your plate. The chicken is tender and not at all hard and brittle that breast meat becomes when left on a flame too long. The tenderloin is what you're really here for- it has the look and texture of good roast beef- still bed inside but cooked throughout- getting rid of the sanguine taste that usually rare beef may come with. They cover the outside of the meat with salt, but I recommend shaking a bit more onto the meat itself as you eat it. Enough oil and meat s nicely marbled- no need to add gravy in my opinion Sides:Salad bar looked a little slow moving for me so I didn't want to risk any food poisoning on some of the mayonnaise doused salads. However, pairing some lettuce with this isn't a bad idea if you're ok with salad that looks like it has a slower turnover rate. I saw romaine lettuce, blanched broccoli, and other cold cuts. The frijoles (black beans) with pork are excellent and the arroz blanco (white rice) are a huge hit. I was meh about the fries b/c they were slow moving so therefore a little stale. They have fried yucca, waffle fries, cheese balls, and normal fries. They also had fried plantains. There were also mozzarella sticks. Desserts: You came here for the flan, rice pudding, and pinapple upside down custard. For those who frequent indian places, the rice pudding is like kheer but minus the cardamom and nuts and heavy coconut tasting- very bland then last min you taste the coconut. I liked my kheer better but that's preference. The flan was good too- not too heavy that some places tend to overdo but not too holy and egg heavy to where it loses that custard texture that makes flan so decadent and indulgent. Service: You need to remind them of water refills constantly if you're a big water slugger. The black beans and rice is amazing and then you get a sampling of my go-to's of beef tenderloin, lamb, sirloin steak and bacon wrapped chicken all on the Brazilian spit fire grill. The amount of food you get for the price is amazing considering the quality, which is important since I have a son that can eat you out of house and home. The staff there are always really friendly and accommodating and the speed of service is excellent. The interior is very basic but does not at all reflect the quality and price of the food.
