For the past year, I've had their original South Beach location bookmarked and it looked very promising from Yelp pics that I've seen. But, South Beach is not close enough so I rarely make my way over there. Recently, I found out that Miu's Tea opened a new location in the neighboring area of Sunset Mall and so I had to try it out as I was nearby. I tried both the Honey Lemon Tea and the Strawberry Green Tea (50% sugar), both with tiny boba. The tiny boba were excellent. They tasted soft, chewy, and fresh. Both tea flavors were solid even though I forgot to order my Honey Lemon with 50% sugar. Still tasted great and I wanted more. One in my company ordered the Thai Tea which I didn't get to taste. I was, however, more interested in the other flavors from their menu. Miu's has an extensive menu of teas that will keep me coming back to try them all. They have intriguing flavors including ones with Sea Salt Crema, which I imagine has the creamy foam on top that I love. Also, they actually have Taro flavor although it's disguised as Eddo which is basically the same thing. I googled it. I just can't wait to come back and try all the teas from Miu's Tea. read more

Some of the best boba I have had outside of CA! Really happy I found this gem. I decided to stick to something traditional- honey milk tea with boba. It was perfectly sweetened with honey and had a great black tea taste. The boba had the perfect chewy texture and I was impressed to see bags of tea leaves behind the counter. Attempting to meet my match(a), I wanted to sample it because if I liked it then I would have got it over the Miu's milk tea (my go-to) . But nope no samples. So I decided to take the risk and order it. For some reason, I knew it wasn't gonna meet my match. Took a few more sips and 95% of the drink was still left. I did not like it. It just tasted really watered down and not so matcha like. So I asked if I could swap it out for another drink. Nope, no exchanges. It kinda sucks because samples are so easy to give and we were the only customers at that time, so it wouldn't have been a hassle. We were only going to ask for 1-2 samples at most too. It sucks because even though it's their policy, they should do something to fix customers dissatisfaction. So just a tip, order right the first time or you won't get money back or another drink. Pro Tip: Place your order online, and skip the wait in store. I absolutely LOVE this place and the fact that you can pre-order your drink online. I've used the service 3 times already, and it's always done by the time I finish my shopping. I absolutely love the honey milk tea with classic boba (as recommended to me by the young woman working the cash register), and the lavender lemonade with popping lychee boba. I always ask for my drink with less sugar. Yes! You can ask for the sweetness level to be at 0%, 25%, 50%,or 100%. For instance, I know the boba already are sweetened, so I opt for less sweetness in my drink. So I asked for the lavender lemonade at 0% knowing the popping lychee boba would sweeten the drink for me. My only issue is that the place is so good it's always packed and everyone waits inside. And the place is small, so everyone is on top of everyone else. It's not safe for customers or employees. That's the only reason I took off one star. Everything else, from access to parking, to customer service, to product quality is absolutely great. To limit my exposure to others, I order online, and pop in to pick up my order. But I wish they would have people that completed their orders wait outside, and then the employees could take the finished drink out to them to make it more Covid-safe. I finally stopped by today for a boba and I was not disappointed. It's a small store with gorgeous yet simple decorations. There is one bench inside, no seating area. It's got lots of natural lighting and quirky signs. The employees were kind and helpful but the menu was not. There was no description and since there are a lot of options, it can become confusing. After some thought, I ordered the sea salt matcha crema with boba and it was delicious. I was craving matcha and this satisficiese my craving. The only thing I will note that I did not like was the sea salt crema on top, but I just didn't drink that part. My friend got the Thai tea with ice cream and boba and he loved it. The menu offers many add ins, including boba, and you can also customize your level of sweetness. It's really cool and I enjoyed my experience. First of probably need to get someone else with better customer service to take the orders. I am giving this place three stars based off of the poor customer service and the lack of assistance the person who took my order had. I almost decided to not order anything and leave, but I was grabbing something for a friend to drink. I asked her what was the most popular drinks or if she could make any suggestions and she said the menu is right over there. What? What type of service is that. Anyway, the place is pretty clean on the inside and the store front area is really pretty. We ended up ordering a pineapple black tea, a strawberry tea with lemonade, and a lavender tea with lemonade. They were all pretty good no complaints. I felt like they made it with the right amount of sweetener and it wasn't too sweet. I won't punish the establishment for one person's poor customer service. I'll be back to visit but if I have another bad experience in customer service I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Rating: 4.5 06/06/2020 I love boba! There's been quite a boom on boba joints down south. I still consider Lan as the one of the original boba joints in the South Dade area. But now, more are popping up in the Kendall aread. So when Miu's Tea popped up on my instagram, I knew I had to check it out. Located right off US1 on 72 St, I missed it a few times because it's super tiny! Parking is scarce during normal circumstances so it will cost you so either pay or come with a friend. Either way, it's worth it! Restaurant: The building itself is very tiny. As their product is tea, their theme is very reminiscent of a greenhouse. Very minimal, the white counter makes for a clean and sleek look. The white walls and glass ceilings allows the space to look bright and spacious. There are greeneries everywhere. And the piece de resistance are the round, rose gold, boba-like light fixtures floating on the glass ceilings with gives the room such a nice pop of color. It's really very nice and almost zen-like. Because of the pandemic, the some of the seating furnitures were removed. But that did not stop people from coming in. Service: Service staff are nice and quiet, they are very efficient. There are usually three people there taking orders, on the counter or via phone, and making the teas at the same time. They work fast and we've been here twice during the pandemic and we waited less thatn 10 minutes each time. I love their packaging, nice, sleek cups that you can easily grip as opposed to the wide tubs they have by the one in Dadeland South (those don't fit in your car cup holders neither!) Food: Initially, I avoided this place because they did not have the usual selections you would find in other boba places like my favorite taro flavor. And the fact that I am avoiding sugar did not help. But after being cooped up for three months, I think we deserved some sugar. I was happy to learn that Miu's allowed for you to control your own level of sweetness. This definitely helped me enjoy the drinks without feeling super guilty about the sugar. I was also thrilled to learn that they a selection of boba flavors, jello and popping bobas and that you can add as little or as much as you like! I ordered the Miu's milk tea as they recommended that it does not require additional sugar, and I added some tiny boba and rainbow jelly! We got another with ice cream in it and a strawberry lemonade with fresh strawberries! Honestly, I'm not a huge milk tea fan but this blew my mind! I am hooked. I can't have enough of it! It's the right amount of sweetness that does not drown that creamy, coffee flavor. And bobas and jelly are perfectly cooked and I just can't stop drinking! I immediately regreted not getting a large cup. The strawberry green tea was so refreshing, I do have to say that 50% sugar was a wee bit too sweet so probably best to always go less for what you usually go for. Overall, this first visit was memorable! I've been back twice since, pandemic or not. It's just too bad its a long ways from me and that parking can be a problem in this area. Love tea and this tiny place has a lot to offer. It's a distance away from me, but never an issue to drive over for their yummy milky teas. Parking is super easy and since your entire visit wont take more than 10 mins, you shouldnt pay for the parking. I was really excited to try the boba from Miu's after hearing great things. The shop is very tiny with no place to sit (you can stand on floating tables). The cashier let us know that they were unfortunately out of a lot of their staples (strawberry, mango, etc). I opted for the Kiwi boba which unfortunately tasted nothing like kiwi. Okay! I was very pleased this time here at Miu's Tea in terms of both customer service and the quality of the products. My husband and I were greeted by a very polite and professional young girl with red hair (sorry I didn't catch her name) who nicely suggested us what were her favorite teas and also answered some of my questions in regards to crema and the infusions they offer! I cannot speak about the other girls that work there who at the time of my visit were very busy in the back making teas and organizing the orders, but this time customer service was on point! I did stick with my favorite milk tea which is the honey milk tea with boba and my husband decided to go with the white peach oolong tea with crema (highly recommended) with boba and lychee pops!
