Had this ubered because Joy Pho was closed and honestly feel cheated. I was going to get the meatball and brisket pho but seeing as the meatball is my favorite I figured I'd order just the meatball and get extra to maximize my meatball to broth ratio. Ordered the meatball pho with two side orders of meatballs (10 in total on the side, an additional 10 dollars) when it arrived I had one quart container of broth and another containing noodles and veggies alongside the meatballs-- which was barely a third at the top of the quart container. I was so confused I called the restaurant to ask if they had forgotten my side orders and was told they had already placed them in the quart container and written it on the top.. insane. I dumped it out and counted 15 slices of meatballs. 15. If they already put my side order of 10 inside then that means the Meatball Pho comes with FIVE FUCKING SLICES OF MEATBALL. Fucking ridiculous considering I spent an extra 10 dollars for the extra meatballs and it looks like I was genuinely just given what I'm assuming would be the normal serving... The pork itself was very flavorful and tender, but the rest of the sandwich was missing those fresh crisp veggies. It had some thin cucumber and thick shredded carrots that were OK. Our go-to Pho joint in Bonney Lake. Eat there, pickup or Door Dash. Whenever it's cold and rainy or we are feeling down, we order a bowl of spicy pho and a Bahn Mi to dip it in. Hits the spot! Advice to those eating it at home, pour broth into a pot and turn the stove on just for a bit, then put the noodles in to get them softer. The proteins were lacking with the tendons pieces too thick and chewy, the flank slightly dry and chewy, and the steak tough. He actually doesn't remember any tripe in his dish... Ambience: 5/5 - very hipster feel and Americanized based on the art and decoration. The menu is a bit all over the place as it goes into Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese food all in one place along with their Americanized counter parts. WOW! We have not been here in six years, we moved to Texas, and are back in town for a cruise. It was like we never left. My wife had the steak pho, I had the chicken, and both were amazing!! The broth was rich in flavor and both bowls had lots of meat and noodles in them, we ordered the smalls, there was no way we could have finished the larges. The owner, even though we had not been here in six here, remembered us! She gave us free rolls, that were amazing as well. So glad we stopped by. The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. I really really wanted to like this place and support a local business. And while I know that I shouldn't expect the same flavors I experienced in Vietnam, I should at least see some semblance of it represented in the food. We ordered takeout twice, and both times got pho and the vermicelli bowl. The bean sprouts that came with our pho were brown brown brown. And the lime? Literally no juice because it was likely old. The nước chấm was not the correct ratio of ingredients. Thankfully I had fish sauce at home to correct it, but theirs is mostly water and sugar. And the Đồ Chua? Absolutely no daikon and not pickled at all (tasted like sugar soaked carrots). The pho broth was tasteless and the amount of meat that came with all the dishes did not reflect the nearly $20 per item I paid. So as much as I want to support this place, I will just suck it up and either make it myself or head outside of Bonney Lake for Vietnamese food. Doing decent business with dine in and takeout given the pandemic. Got a large size bowl of pho with a variety of beef parts. Was served pretty quickly. It was a solid bowl of pho, and portion was decent. The broth could have used more flavor. It was around $11 before tax and tip, so not expensive. We've been here a couple times. Today we got: Tofu teriyaki --very good. Server asked me my preferred spice level. Because I hadn't ordered it here before, I got a 3. I would definitely go for a 4, but a 5 might be unpleasant textuarally because they use red pepper flakes. They do not have brown rice available, but their salad--which is shredded coleslaw and dressing is basic, but very good. BBQ Pork Bhahn Mi --my partner really liked this. He described it a "very solid". But their combination Bahn Mi has the same amount of pork, with chicken added to it for a dollar more. Their veggies are chopped thicker than other places, so it makes it a little hard to handle but worth it. Tofu Veggie Pho --this is one of the kids standard go to. He normally gets a large but opted for a small today. It LOOKED like you get the same food portions in the small as you do the large...they just smush it all into a smaller bowl with just enough broth to make things a little slippery. As a broth enthusiast, I would pay the extra for a large and enjoy the correct ratios of ingredients. Kids Pho --this was ordered by the kid that only likes macaroni and cheese. She declared it decent and ate the most of the three kids. Kids Chicken Katsu --this was ordered by the kid that doesn't like anything but pizza. There was much complaining. But there was nothing wrong with it. It came with a scoop of rice and the same salad as I got with my teriyaki. Thai Iced Tea --came pre-mixed. Which I don't like. And it was a little watery. The issue I have is... it was just us and when our check came, there was a mandatory gratuity added onto our bill. I would not have minded this had there have been some sort of sign or notification to the customers letting us know this. I don't like being blindsided. I was going to tip regardless, but tacking that onto my bill without the slightest notification is annoying. So be aware.. it doesn't matter your party size, you'll be charged automatic gratuity and there is no sign or notification of this.. and your service can genuinely suck. read more

If I want basic Phó, this place will do but I'm finding myself more often than not, driving to other shops. I've tried the pho, bahn mi, teriyaki chicken and salad rolls. Out of everything, the only item I have repeatedly got are the salad rolls. They are fresh and if you ask, basil leaves and other veggies can be added. The peanut sauce is ok. I gave the fish sauce style dipping sauce and it wasn't flavourful and didn't really stick to the salad roll. Pho portions were small, the tofu bahn mi was dry and could have done better with a spread of Mayo to something. The chicken teriyaki plate was good, but you can get teriyaki chicken anywhere.
