Upon arriving I was greeted by a young gentleman, which I didn't get his name, he seemed like a nice guy. Then came Stephon, we talked business first, took my info down and gave me the receipt with an assurance he was going to pinpoint the problem to my cassette deck and fix it. Then he gave me his philosophical ideas about how we listen to music, and how a lot of it has been made wrong , then proceeded to hand me a mixtape cd, all bangers by the way. There was a bit of a wait to get a call back about my cassette deck repairs, like a solid 2 weeks if not a bit more couple days passed. At first I was bit concerned but I remained to stay positive and trusted the process Anyways it's been a couple weeks I got my Nakamichi back and it works great and I couldn't be more happier. Stephon you and your team are a master of the craft of repair. Thank you again.

Check-in process was efficient with names on a tablet and a list on a sheet. There are a few bars set up inside because I was wandering around with three wooden drink chips. There is a DJ playing with a huge are for dancing while I waited for one of the pinball machines. They set up a little room with things of the 80's era. It was like walking through memory lane while in search of these keys. It was one of the games for attendees to turn in for schwag. In the back room there is a half court basketball station set up for a bit of shooting around. All while we were waiting for a customized baseball cap. You can select any of the patches on the cap that they offered. Plenty of people playing different hotel roles like a few maids, bellboys, front desk clerks. It was fun and Jack Daniels promoted with suggestions to take an Uber home for the night with $10 coupons. Drink responsibly and designate a driver.

Central to LA. 24 hour access is crucial for late night gigs. Jay, the manager, is a chill guy. He'll get on your ass if you disrespect the place like leave garbage in the lobby or break the rules, but he looks out for everyone and has always been reasonable. The spot is great to store your gear, have meetings, rehearse your music, record and produce music during quite hours, and make connections. It gets hot in the summer, but the rooms have AC. Overall this place is a gem. It has allowed me to grow my music, my business and my brand.

Their engineer helped me used all the tools I wanted and gave me guidance on how to use them (mostly synths). I was in the "B room" and was really blown away at the sound quality. This is definitely a great spot to jam, work on your mixes, and polish your tracks. I got a lot done and had a blast. The engineer was also really generous and showed me the A Room and explained to me things like Dolby Atmos, the analog console and a lot of the amazing gear. Can't recommend this place enough. Their hardware is out of this world and the people are super helpful and knowledgeable. No-brainer choice for all your music production needs!!

But over the course of the past year or so (beginning around roughly mid-2025 and onward), the company inexplicably took a nosedive with its prior reputation and is quickly sending it to the dumpster, given that it mysteriously no longer responds to communications and is increasingly failing to fulfill and/or ship its existing orders. I am not certain what suddenly changed - perhaps the ownership was transfered and/or bought out, or maybe their next-of-kin inherited the business - but regardless of the reasons, I CAN tell you with certainty by this point in time is that this is no longer the Pro Audio LA which we audio professionals so fondly remember, most sadly to say. Because all of its communications and ordering processes have just about broken down within the past months, even as it continues to accept your online orders and take your money! For the record: I have $300-worth of audio interconnect cables ordered from this past springtime of 2026, and it is now mid-July as of the time of my writing of this review, yet STILL I have heard nothing further of my order. Even after multiple communication attempts. Nothing but dead silence on the other end, even though ... again ... the online order form remains open, functional, and happily charges your credit card without batting an eyelash. Clearly, something has gone terribly, heinously amiss while SOMEONE on the other end continues to take your money. And that's just about where the paper trail ends, because your online order stays in perpetual "processing" with nothing further done. That's where it sits, even as of today. So, please, heed my warning and do NOT give Pro Audio LA a single cent of your business from this point, onward. At least not until some kind of definitive light is shed on whatever has transpired within the establishment, regarding its suddenly-tanking business model. Because this doesn't smell right at all, and I am not the only recent buyer who has been raising awareness about the recent 180° turn for the worse by this company.
