So I called in for a take out this past Friday. Upon entering I was greeted with the woman getting defensive & explaining why her items -seemed skimpy. It was quite Abrupt, as I was taken back. I didn't know why she was getting defensive Until I realized it was my review, of saying the soup & salad seemed small. After leaving the restaurant , I realized that was Not a way to have a return paying customer. I have tried 2x to give them benefit of the doubt, but They have failed as far as Customer Service. I worked in Customer Service for 15+ years, You don't respond to a review -by getting defensive . My review wasn't even negative.4-stars. I have had reviews with other places, & business owners sent message advising to please come back, we will try to improve , or her approach should have been Less defensive , * soo many others ways to go about it without offending customers. ** Well on that~ I will Not be returning. At best it was a notch up from regular sushi that you could purchase at Shoprite. The sushi was all rice and very little fish. There was no special sauces used and the flavor was very bland. This place is very average and there is nothing extraordinary about it. If you are a sushi connoisseur then this place isnt for you. This place was pretty delicious. Not the fanciest restaurant, but still nice. I went around 5 and it wasn't very busy. The staff seemed friendly and the service was fast. I ordered the miso soup (delicious) and three rolls (California, Spicy Tuna, and Rainbow). They have a large variety of rolls ranging in different prices. The prices are great, I believe I spent less than $20 for everything. I even brought the leftovers home to my husband 2 hours later and he said it was some of the best sushi he's had! Worst customer service EVER!!! After about 10yrs of going I can say we will not be back!!! Ordered some Pad Thai HORRIBLE, and the waitress actually said "well we Japanese restaurant not Thai". Well if you can't cook it right don't cook it at all. We asked can we swap it for something else worth the same amount "NO we don't do that". So $9.99 is worth loosing over 10yrs of loyal service. Charges will be disputed and they won't get payed anyways. And this is step 1 of many. EPIC FAIL read more

Not the worst sushi in the world but certainly not the best. With all the other excellent sushi restaurants in the area (Mikado, Megu, Sagami, Akira) I don't plan on rushing back. The Dinner box is good for a quick meal when you are too tired to cook, but minimal veggies especially if you get the Yaki Soba/Udon barely any meat too. It's more for convenience than anything. It's never consistent in quality :( read more

Miyabi wasn't very good. Overpriced, few vegetarian dishes, and terrible decor from a 70's seafood restaurant. The tempura was good, but the vegetable teriyaki was horrid. The green tea ice cream was my favorite part. Service was good. read more

Unfortunately we have gone to this restaurant for several years but it has gone downhill. Tonight we waited over an hour for our meal and when we questioned the waitress she was unapologetic and actually told us that we don't need to rush. I agree we don't need to rush but an hour of waiting for our food is too long. It seems to me they need to get more help in the kitchen and on the floor (waitresses) to accommodate the amount of people who are starting to come in. The food is good but it's not worth the wait and the rudeness of the staff. read more

This place is not bad and has good lunch deals which is why we ordered from here, but I wouldn't trust it with your credit card. We had our credit card number stolen by someone at the establishment and a list of items purchased from around the SAME area showed up in the bank statement. The card was not used for anything else. We love Miyabi! Although the atmosphere is plain, the service is great and the hostess is wonderful. We get takeout from here at least once a week. The $6 rolls are a true bargain and the Infinity Roll and Amazing Roll are really delicious. We have eaten sushi at Japonica in New York, Wasa in Newport Beach, CA, Fuji in Cinnaminson/Haddonfield and many other great places, but have also had awful sushi (like at the grocery). During the past few years, we always ordered from Akira 2 in Moorestown. We now order only from Miyabi, which is not only better, but much less expensive if you order the $6 rolls. The sushi here comes close in quality to some of the better places we have eaten. We have referred many of our friends here. I have not had the soups here, nor sashimi, so can't comment on that. read more

5 stars! Wonderful place for sushi at a wonderful price! Miyabi is awesome, glad we found it. The environment is always relaxing and the waitstaff friendly. I go 1-2x per month and they always recognize me! The variety of their $6 are great, and so many are delicious. We also like the 'Mount Laurel" roll when we like to spurge. Also agree that the Kani salad is very tasty. Everything here is always fresh and top notch. Miyabi might mean horrible food. We were so disappointed in the quality of the food. Steak fatty-chicken fatty (how can that be) shrimp ok but the sauces on the food were not up to the usual Japanese taste.
