Fun story - I got the recommendation to try this place out by a gal I met at the Apple Store! Came in last weekend while it was snowing because we were craving something warm and savory. We started out by sharing the Japanese Fried Rice. This was the BEST fried rice I've had in the area! For our main dishes, I ordered the Chicken Katsu Shoyu Ramen and my husband ordered the Hakata Ramen. Both were delicious! The chicken katsu was crispy and I appreciate that it was on a separate plate so it didn't lose its crunch in the soup. The fried rice and soup were great - flavorful without tasting too salty. There was plenty left over to take home and it still tasted great later! Check this place out! We will be back! read more

I went Friday...and there was a huge crowd. It took them 20 minutes before anyone addressed the crowd waiting asking if people were there for pick up or to dine in. I ignorantly figured the crowd indicated great food, so myself and my girlfriend waited. We were sat and someone did immediately take our food order, but that waitress never came back to take our drink order someone just dropped off the ramen. I had the 27 dollar steak ramen, and while the steak was delicious albeit in thicker cuts than I would have imagined...the broth, and ramen noodles, veggies, and bamboo shoots left so much to be desired. The actual noodles in the ramen, were so blatantly obvious spaghetti pasta noodles and not at all actual ramen noodles or anything similar to a ramen noodle. I feel like the entire staff was in the weeds, and rather than address their issue they took advantage of the income and proceeded to stretch out of their means. We were promptly given an extremely large check considering the incredibly poor quality of food. This isn't worth it. Don't do it, there are far better places. read more

Checked this place out during the week after stopping at Camden Aquarium. The shop was pretty empty and we were seated right away. The workers were very nice and had great customer service. The food came out fairly quickly and appearance was very good. The food wasn't bad but also isn't on my top ramen shop places. The gyoza was a little soggy and I felt like it wasn't fried through. We did see ppl getting fried rice and it looked so big and tasty so we will give it a try next time we make a trip back over there. read more

This is by far my favorite ramen spot in south Jersey. I typically order the fried shumai, but the real star of the show is the ribeye steak ramen. The steak is cooked to perfection!!! 10/10 bowl and I'll order it every single time. Its never really a long wait to sit down and the food comes out pretty quick. read more

We found Rai Rai Ramen shortly after moving to the area. Honestly, I think it was a recommendation from someone in passing. But we were also in the market for a new go-to ramen spot. We had a few other ramen places that we frequented in the past, but were unhappy with how the food suffered along with everything else in the world. Totally not the case with Rai Rai Ramen. We've been going here for a few months and the food is as spectacular as it was the first time. The chashu is melt-in-your-mouth. The consistency (along with the top notch service) is why we keep coming back. My only complaint, if it can be seen as one, is that when we started going, with any ramen what came with an egg, you got a whole egg. Now, as things in the world continue to deteriorate, you get only half an egg. If you want a whole one, it's extra. That's understandable-- along with the slight increase in prices. But, everything is going up, so it's a small price to pay. And, they have wasabi shumai. I'm getting myself hungry writing this review.....It's usually pretty packed on a weekend. And, another plus, pay cash and you get a little bit of a discount. Totally recommend. read more

So I went to this restaurant last night and I must say as soon as you open the doors, this beautiful smell is intoxicating to every senses. I mean it goes in your nose and you feel it in your fingertips. I myself got the Akamaru Ramen. I wish I had a little more spice, but the broth was magnificent. My lady got the seafood Ramen and I think that broth was 1000 times better. The muscles were huge. The fish cakes were beautifully placed, but back to my Ama Ramen. If you could taste this pork, it felt like it came straight off of a hot hole and it gave the broth such a smoky rich flavor so damn good. Looking at the next table, we decided to order the wasabi sumi and also the fried rice which came like a damn mountain so flavorful fresh ginger the wasabi sumi had its spicy flavor, but also the inside was stuffed with flavorful pork and shrimp. I like the noodles are thin but not overcooked/overly soft. The side toppings are a bit plain- just bamboo shoots, scallions and spinach (raw). Wish it comes with one or even half ramen egg. The shrimp shumai was tasty and wasn't greasy at all. The sauce it came with paired well with it . This is our "go to" place for Ramen. My wife adores the "Spicy Seafood Ramen - double the vegetables, and hold the noodles," for a low carb delicacy. I love the the "Rib Eye Ramen with an extra egg." Various members of the family have tried most of the menu and there are no weak spots. read more

Food was decent enough, the ribeye had a nice little char to it but the broth should've been a little more rich personally. The noodles were on the thicker side. The service was OK. They did everything as they should. They sat me, took my drink order, took my food order, food was out in 10 minutes less. Not very good and I am surprised because I went here based off their reviews. Got two of the shabu shabu beef ramen to go, and asked for spicy sauce on the side. Not only was it not in the bag, but they also gave us one ramen broth that was spicy and mistakenly gave us a different non-spicy broth for the other ramen bowl (despite them both being shabu beef). Instead is cramped with hurried and careless service. They forgot to include chopsticks, and when I finally got someone's attention, the worker basically trampled me to grab my food bag and SHAKE it to see whether there were chopsticks or not in there. Not coming back, and not recommending. The shabu beef itself was gross and smelled bad, was fatty and kind of inedible. Just two shabu bowls costed almost $36. read more
