my favorite sushi place in the area. really fresh sushi for a good price, especially on sunday and monday with the 30% discount. the service is attentive and the restaurant itself is really cute.

First time here and it was great! Nice big space and very fast service. The food was excellent. We got hibachi NY strip and the filet. The meal came with veggies, soup, fried rice, the meat, and noodles. All for a very good price. The fried rice was amazing very talented chef prepared right in front of us and the mix of sauces and the egg just go together so well. The filet was very buttery and delicious and was cooked perfectly. Definitely liked it over the NY strip, but thats just because its a nicer cut of meat. The whole place was very clean and in a really nice area. Overall a great experience. Would definitely go again!

My family and I have visited this restaurant and ordered out for years - safe to say this is our go-to sushi place. The food has always been consistently great quality and a decent price. Service has always been efficient and helpful. I highly recommend eating in - there are many seating options and the indoors is perfectly cozy. Can't wait to try more dishes!

Once again a fabulous meal. Fresh, tasty sushi. Ordered the Japanese wonton soup for the first time and was very happy with it. Unfortunately service was much slower and after we finished eating felt like the server forget we were even there. It got to the point that half of the party was standing up at the table to get someone's attention to pay the bill

Came here for a Birthday Party and it's great that they are BYOB. We came for the great Hibachi Experience and order some Sushi as Appetizer. Sushi was very fresh and was made to order. We had a blast with the Hibachi Chef and had so much fun . We will definitely be back with the families and kids.

The service is nice but we have been waiting 45 minutes so far. There have been other table who have sat down been served and finished eating before we are served. I am truly contemplating leaving right now. The food smells good wish I could try it.

Megu is easily one of the BEST sushi/hibachi restaurants in town. Let me explain: If you have ever spent anytime in the Cherry Hill/Marlton/Voorhees area, you have no doubt heard SOMEONE mention Megu. I grew up in Cherry Hill and my family came to Megu probably once a month (as a family) and countless other times with friends. I've never had to wait for a table, and I'm always greeted by the owner, Brenda, who is very welcoming and takes amazing care of her customers! I have never had a bad experience at Megu. Even the time that I sat at the hibachi table next to a group of 20+ 8 year old girls celebrating a birthday (that was rough, but their noise was the only issue) Every time I return home (currently reside in NYC) I make sure to plan a night at Megu, where I run into somebody from town that I know EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Love it here, definitely try them out if you're considering sushi or hibachi tonight!

Hibachi is open! Great time and starting to feel like normal being able to eat out at places. Their covid precautions are great. The hibachi was fantastic very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The chef was great and talented and had a lot of fun tricks. Awesomeness.

Megu is a nice Asian restaurant in an unassuming strip mall in Cherry Hill. Cripes, is EVERYTHING in New Jersey in a strip mall?! Don't answer that :) Hottie Esq and I came here for a late lunch on a Saturday. I think they were nearing closing time for their own lunch break, but they sat us and served us with a smile. We ordered several rolls off of the express lunch menu (good variety here). Lunch menu items come with the standard miso soup and ginger-dressed salad. We enhanced it with an order of edamame (lightly salted and perfectly steamed). I hate when you order the sushi roll and pieces combo and they give you that limp-ass butterflied shrimp that's as thin as a piece of paper, or that nasty hard-as-nails fluke. I was thrilled that my pieces were tuna, salmon, and yellowtail only. It's like they knew what I like best...they KNEW! Their sushi rolls were well-sized and the fish was the right temperature. The rice was seasoned nicely. Esq was very pleased, and his happiness is paramount to me. Thank you, Megu! The interior was swanky without being "cold". The outside really doesn't do it any justice. Parking is located in both the front and the back. Solid choice for an express lunch. I look forward to returning for dinner!

At first glance we weren't impressed. However, the food was very good & affordable. The chefs are personable.

The time from getting seated to actually getting food on the cooktop was about an hour long. Our…read moreserver seemed inexperienced and messed up our order. The chef tried to make up for it but ultimately was confused and we did not get the proper courses. As far as the 'show' part of the hibachi experience, it was not very entertaining. I think it was a busy night as we overheard other guests complaining about wait time. The bathroom floor was slippery and I notified the staff who didn't address it. We made the best of it, but I would try a different option for Hibachi as there are others in the area.

This is a disappointment and a toughie …read more.. We came for my birthday due to a generous $50 birthday reward from the company themselves (easy sign up with an interesting app name). My, my, my, how this spot has changed over a ten plus year period! Service was warm, albeit slow. We had reservations and were promptly seated with another couple, then a single man. Beverages came out quickly, but then we waited and waited for soup and salad... I was so hungry and was truly puzzled, as it wasn't crowded at an early 5 pm. time. We thought our server was Armando, who took our orders, but then Rob came over and introduced himself? He was cordial, funny, and a great cook. All enjoyed our conversation as well. Yummy soup; not good ginger salad though; my only food "ding." No more fun fanfare of the "onion train" and tricks, as expected, and what Benihana is known for... Rob did a few fun things but it just wasn't the same :( Our chicken fried rice, my scallops and filet were amazingly delicious and served perfectly (rare for moi). I also loved the seasoned zucchini and white rice! The Yummy sauce truly lived up to its name!!! I used my whole small plate all over my dish! Although they knew and wished me a happy birthday, no singing like at another table earlier, or complimentary ice-cream. I don't care for being in the spotlight, but felt cheated. Props to the sweet hostesses, Courtney and Tina. Sherrett, the manager was nice too. I think he listened to my ginger salad comment. Id go back with a coupon, knowing what to (and not to) expect.
