Price...... $35 for adult pedicure and $25 for a 5 year old. We had a party of 4 and they didn't have 4 seats together, so we had to wait 15 minutes after our appointment time for seats to open up. Usually, I love coming here but I recently got a pedicure done and had to come back the following day because both of my big toes had bubbles under the polish. Now im sitting here on vacation, realizing that I have yet another bubble under the polish on my big toe. First time ever coming here, made a reservation online with Lan for a regular pedicure. When I checked in I told the girl this was my first time here and all she said was "ok you're checked in, have a seat" then a lady came and grabbed me, didn't introduce herself but figured it was Lan. She asked me which color I wanted and since I wasn't told where to even look at colors, I just told her I'd choose white. I'm 7 months pregnant and just wanted a nice relaxing time but instead got an extremely rushed job, the "massage" was just lotion slathered all over for not even 2 mins. I ended up with a beige color, not white, and it was probably one of the worst nail polish applying I've had, half the corners didn't even have top coat so you could see the overlap. When I went to check out the girl had her nose in her phone while I stood there then finally looked up and said "you check out on the other side" upon walking to the other side is when I finally saw the wall of nail polish I wish I would have been told about. Guess I should have been more assertive and asked but I'm also not a complainer so I still tipped 20% and went elsewhere to get my pedicure redone. Either way, I was extremely disappointed in this place, especially after reading all the great reviews. You maybe either have to be a regular to be getting better service or Lan isn't good at pedicures. Either way I will not be back. read more

I have been going here for over a year until around March of this year in between fills I saw a green spot on my nail and asked the technician what it could be. She said it was normal and people get it all the time and continued to fill my nails. Next time I came in there were green spots all over my nails. I decided to just get all my nails taken off because I knew this was not "normal." My nails got worse and worse and I decided to go to the doctor. The doctor told me this was fungus and I got it from my nail spa. He said this nail spa definitely isn't cleaning their tools and because of that probably ruined my nails forever. DO NOT GO HERE. I will have to spend hundreds of dollars now in anti fungal medication to hopefully try and get rid of this. It is also the same all over my toes. This place is disgusting. Do not risk it. read more

I want to start off by saying I love going to this place because it is close by. Unfortunately today was another story i called to get a pedicure with my bestfriend and ended up waiting 20 minutes with my feet in the water until it got cold. Then a lady came up and started to file my toes and continued to do it crooked. This place is cool, I got a short acrylic nails with gel polish, along with cuticle clean up/soak ($65+ $5) and basic pedicure with gel $35+ $20) for gel prices. I love the final results, Brian was my nail tech, he also did my pedicure. He did a awesome job! Very meticulous to detail. But this is why they didn't receive 5 stars: -negotiating prices: If you had me fill out a form that displays your prices why are you asking me what I'm getting? That defeats the purpose of me filling out the form an I refused to fill out out twice so I verbally told them what I was getting. Then once I got to my nail tech an told him what I was getting he tried to up charge me? For short acrylic nails! I literally had to throw their own prices from their website/ the form I filled out in their face, shouldn't have to do that I don't play price negotiation games. We eventually got on the same page. -Pretty side of salons for pedicures were closed off: So in the pictures you may see a all white area where you can receive pedicures and it looks super glamorous what's up with that for you because on the opposite side they have older with the chairs that are not as glam, I felt insulted in a way, we pay good money to utilize those and all the amenities. -Saying they have alcohol an they don't: why don't y'all have any? What a great experience! The couple that owns the salon are really sweet. They went above and beyond to make sure my first time in their place was the best. They do not rush you emails or the others so you will likely wait but they are dedicated to quality so it is hard to fault them for that. Definitely on the pricier side, however, they clean constantly, use quality items and give a great experience so you get what you pay for. I'll be returning for some lash work. They do lash lifts and tints as well as lash extensions. Also they serve beer and wine. I love my nails when I go but I don't love how the employees talk about you when they think you don't understand. They are quite hateful, judgemental and nasty. IF you have a thick skin and this doesn't bother you, then it will be fine. Clients in the shop always seem happy with what they get but when you do ask for a correction, the techs can be snarky about it with their conversations, body language and then they get rougher in handeling your hands/nails. read more

(I've tried for years to explain to MANY techs how I like my nails. Like Gwen Stephani's nails. For some reason it's so hard to accomplish- pics to follow) I recognize it's hard to try and match shape on nails that another tech put on (2 weeks ago) and I know she tried hard which is why I gave this visit 4 stars. I was very pleased with the service and results of my pedicure. I did the camomile foot spa with gel nails and the pampering was superb! If I have any negative to say it would be in regard to the conversation going on in a different language between my artist and my daughter-in-law's. Whenever that happens (no matter where I go), it always feels like they are discussing us...even though they may not be. The only other thing was I requested a tip to be applied to one of my nails as it tends to relieve the pain I get in that toe and my technician said she wanted to do something else...she built out the nail with acrylic. Worst service I have ever received. When I sat down I told the lady I would like a manicure + dip. She didn't understand and was prepping my nails for dip only. I asked again if she was going to do the manicure. She did my manicure and left skin all over my fingers. When I asked her if she could clean up around my nails she was no longer comfortable providing service for me. She asked the receptionist to switch employees. I ended up leaving a tip and walking out - no one even asked how to make the situation better... I've never felt so uncomfortable in a nail salon in my life. The only time I left happy was when the female owner did my nails - every time I request her for a manicure I'm told she doesn't take appointments. New location near the Executive Airport in Henderson. After my usual salon went up in price and my nails were not looking as great anymore I decided to change salons. I was pleasantly surprised to walk into MJ Nails and see the beautiful brand new decor, chandelier, and the extreme cleanliness. I checked in and started my gel manicure and pedicure shortly after. Everything was very sanitary and the staff were very friendly. You can even order champagne and beers while you get your services done. My gel manicure lasted a whole month. The only reason I had to get it re done was only because my nails grow fast, no chipping! This is my new go to place and I highly recommend it. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I attached a picture of the $145 nails I was given VS. the design I wanted. If a nail tech can't attempt a design, that should be communicated instead of leaving the client sitting for 3 hours while the tech struggles and has NO idea what they are doing. Throughout the whole appointment I was constantly having to point out imperfections and details for him to fix. After 3 hours, I was left with a complete MESS on my nails. My nails didn't even look close to the inspo I showed him. I was promised I could come in the next day for them to be redone. I wanted the nails to be cut off because I didn't feel comfortable paying for a $145 set that was done so terribly. They offered me a 30% discount if I would pay that day and come back in the next day. I took the discount and charged my card only to come in the very next day and they SWITCHED UP on me. I was told they could only fix "the flower part" of my nails when that was NOT what was promised to me the day before. All 10 nails were disgusting and looked so sloppy I had to stand up for myself and DEMAND that they honor what I was promised the previous day and fix the WHOLE SET. How frustrating to not have a manager in store and leave it up to the receptionist to go back and forth through text over the phone. It made it seem as if I'm angry at the employees when really I just want what I PAID for and for it to be QUALITY work. $145 nails is a luxury price point and my nails were giving chop shop! At this point, I don't even want the design that seems to be so difficult to execute. I asked for a different more simple design only to be told they won't honor the 30% discount I was given the day before and they would only offer a design worth $55 instead of $75. Why offer me a discount for the inconvenience just to not honor it the next day? Such terrible customer service and I was a loyal client before this experience, so it's really disappointing. Beyond all of this, I also received a pedicure at the same time and my tech did NOT know how to do a deep french tip. Seems like some of these technicians need to be more skilled and trained. I will NEVER return after this experience. read more

Update: I contracted some type of fungus on my toenail from this salon. I had been going to another salon for almost 10 years and never had any issues, went to MJ Nails once and end up with a nail fungus that caused part of my toenail to fall off. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! I will NOT be returning and will be telling everyone I know to go elsewhere. Worst manicure & pedicure I've ever had . Decided to have a "me" day and was excited for a mani/pedi based off the Yelp reviews!! I either had the 2 slowest/worst technicians working on me or they knew I was a newbie and just didn't care. So beyond disappointed and feel like I wasted my time and money by driving out of my way for a horrible experience. What should've taken 1 or 1.5hrs took TWO hours and the outcome wasn't great at all!! The top coat is already coming off of two nails and everything else seems to have been sloppily done. read more

I needed fills and 1 nail fix that broke off from another nail tech that worked on my nails from a different nail salon 2 weeks previously. I showed John my outfit that I would be wearing to see Odesza live in concert and this was the design he came up with and let me tell you how ecstatic I am when he was done.
