You land on somebody that you think rises above the rest, only to be shuffled to someone else in their salon. So you'll never know nor get what you put in for. When I decided to book PMU with Mila, I was told that Mila, the salon owner, had no appointments for 3 1/2 months, well ok, because really good aestheticians should be busy. I was immediately pushed off to another aesthetician in the salon, Anastasia, saying that she was hired right away because she was that good, etc., etc. But she is not! My first appointment, as with everyone else's, they draw out your brow line for PMU and ask you to approve it. I told Anastasia that she literally lowered my brow arch by a third. Her answer was, "don't worry about it you'll have enough arch left." And just proceeded. Well, I didn't! And I was not happy. Here's where it gets really interesting, I reached out to Mila right after, after she asked me to give her a positive review on Google and Yelp, telling her that I can't do that because I wasn't happy. She rest assured me that she would make it right and laser could fix the PMU that affected my arch. And that she would personally make it right. That never happened, and here's why. I had my follow-up/touch-up appointment with Mila on a Saturday and I was really early so I was sitting in the parking lot having my lunch an hour or more before my appointment when I was contacted by her husband, their receptionist, telling me that she left so sick and had to cancel my appointment and they didn't know when they could rebook me because they didn't know how many days that she would be out. I never saw her leave. Little does she care either, that she posted herself working out in the gym at 6 o'clock the next morning on her social media I mean, come on?! It's not just my opinion, but she left the day of my appointment and canceled my appointment so she could do something before she left for a 15 day vacation in Mexico. Let's fast forward to trying to get rebooked with Mila. I sent a text to their main phone number, which is her cell, and was again told that they didn't know when I could reschedule with Mila so they put me back with Anastasia. Ugh!! Anastasia then drew the brow line "box" on my brows for the second time and created so-called, "wings." I literally got up this time and erased those lines myself and redirected her to where they actually needed to go to follow my natural brow line. Which is what I came in for in the first place. And, still not right. She kinda does what "she" wants. This is a $900 service with a $200 follow up/touchup service. It's really really really not worth it. Not that I can't afford it, but if you're gonna pay this kind of money, you should get what you pay for with who you want to pay to do it. Not just gets shuffled off to somebody else in the salon because you have a family and you want to take most of the Summer off. If you have a business, take on a business, run that business!! I don't know if the ink will ever stick, it didn't the first time around. Still waiting for the touchup to heal, but my hopes are not high! Cannot recommend this place at all! I have reached out to Mila's personal cell a few times since and she has yet to answer me, just crickets all day long! Just save yourself the time, the money and the aggravation! I don't think I'm the only one that is going to have to go to another salon to do a cleanup on this botched job! This is way less than one star treatment! These are people's faces, for petes sake! When somebody searches you out for "your" expertise and you agree to take on the job, personally take on the job! After all, we aren't letting just anybody touch them. That's why we do our research beforehand. Steering new clients to other aestheticians in your salon, claiming that they are just as good when they clearly are not! For what?!

Turns out my daughters boss had her brows done so of course I asked her where she went. MM Permanent cosmetics she said, go see Tami she's amazing. This clearly was a sign. My daughter and I talked about it and wanting to get it done. As a surprise for Christmas my daughter bought me eyebrows! It was the best gift EVER. So we booked an appointment online to go on the same day. The place is gorgeous and Tami (Tamara) is absolutely amazing. Right off the start she was like talking to a best friend so it really set the tone. She explained everything and all the different options. There are quite a few so don't be afraid to ask her what is best for you. Tami took pictures, measured where my brows should start, where my arch should be and the proper length for my face. I guess I really didn't realize how little to no brow I actually had left. Tami instantly started drawing my brows out by hand with this magic pencil of hers. I couldn't even believe how real the hair strokes looked with just her drawing them on! Starting to really get excited now! Tami made sure everything was to my liking before we got started. I decided to go with the nano brows as they looked the most natural. Now here comes the unpleasant but not unbearable part....She makes several channels in your brows that feel like you are being scratched. It's not painful but the noise was a bit unsettling to me. Almost sounded like paper being ripped. All this is done by hand. She applies custom colors to match your natural hair. Then you get numbing cream because it's going to absorb better. It definitely helps but the noise is still gross LOL. So you can bring headphones if you want but I really enjoyed talking to Tami. The entire process maybe took about 45 minutes. Let me tell you it was SO worth every penny! When she showed me my finished brows I couldn't believe it! I'm still in shock waking up with actual eyebrows! They look like REAL hair. Tami went over all care procedures. Gave us soap to wash our brows with and special lotion so they heal properly. She also gave us her phone number and told us we could message her with any questions we may have along the way. When I got home my husband even said my brows looked great. It's SO nice waking up and actually having eyebrows. I also enjoy not having to worry about penciling anything on or worrying that I've wiped half of my brow off. Plus it saves so much time. The following day Tami messaged us to make sure everything was okay. I though that was a super nice touch. She also sent me and my daughter the before and after photos. Please see the photos below they speak volumes themselves. I have little to no brows and my daughters were thicker but sparse in areas. You have NO idea how important eyebrows are to your face. If you are on the fence about going here's what I'm going to say.....Just go see Tami at MM Permanent Cosmetics you will be so happy you did! Scheduling my appointment online was quick and easy, and I appreciated being able to select my nail technician in advance. Based on the many positive reviews I had read, I chose Katie, and those reviews were absolutely accurate. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted promptly by the friendly staff and immediately felt welcomed. Since it was my birthday, I decided to splurge on the Royal Deluxe Pedicure, and it was worth every penny. Rather than being seated in the main salon area, I was taken to a private enclosed room where soft music played in the background. The quieter setting created a relaxing, one-on-one experience that allowed me to truly unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the main salon. Katie was wonderful. She was personable, attentive, and genuinely interested in getting to know her clients. We spent the appointment sharing stories and chatting at a comfortable pace, which made the experience feel even more special. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly personality made my birthday treat memorable. As an added bonus, Katie mentioned that I was planning to have pho after my appointment and recommended the restaurant next door, Let's Get Pho, which is owned by the same owner as MJ Nail Spa. Review for MJ Nails & Lashes, Henderson, NV I recently moved to Nevada from Florida and am on the hunt for a reliable nail salon close by. I had previously visited MJ Nails for a gel set that was pricey and didn't even last two weeks, but on short notice, I returned for a simple color change as my usual tech was out of town. I needed to look presentable as I am attending a funeral and heading to Virginia soon. When I arrived, I signed in and waited without being told the wait time or if they could squeeze me in. After checking in with the front desk, I was finally seated, and things seemed fine during my pedicure. My feet were painted, which cost $35, but the front desk did honor a discount they had texted to me. However, when I went to the nail station for my color change, the tech removed the polish and then informed me it would be another $35! I questioned why, as it was only a color change, and was told it was because they "had to reshape" my nails. I never asked for reshaping and even said I wanted to keep the shape as-is. Despite this, they insisted on the $35 price, which was never discussed with me beforehand. I declined the service and left, as it felt like they were upcharging for unnecessary work. This experience was disappointing, especially since I now have to get my nails redone once I arrive in Virginia. If you're looking for clear communication, fair pricing, and respect for your preferences, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Had an appointment today monday and they called me to ask if I can come in earlier. I was only about 10 mins early. I dread going to nail salons because I feel like im sitting there and wasting time. This place is busy for a monday! Their clientele base is very diverse as their technicians. Place has a spacious and upbeat vibe. Cleanliness is 8/10 Space is 10/10 I wanted to get XS almond nails gel X And got exactly what I wanted. Maybe I'll go a bit more shorter next time! MJ on St. Rose is THE BEST nail salon in Vegas, no question. I've been coming here for three years and have seen almost every artist, and they are all incredible. If you love nail art or want truly flawless designs, this is the place. That said... Kelly is my girl. She is a true artist, talented, creative, and down for any design I throw at her. I have been to MJ twice in the last month and have a great experience both times. The first time I did wait a little for my pedicure to begin, but it was busy and I was not in a hurry. The receptionist checked in on me while I waited and apologized for the wait. My pedicure was great. The tech took her time and did a wonderful job. I got the hybrid gel nails and I LOVE them. They did not chip or lift, which always happens. The design turned out awesome. The salon is clean and the staff are all hard working. Everyone was so kind. Such a great environment. My wife love this salon...Oh man, let me tell you about MJ Salon! My wife went there last week, and she's been on cloud nine ever since. She came home looking like a movie star, I kid you not. The staff treated her like royalty from the moment she walked in. She won't stop talking about how amazing her stylist was - apparently, they just "got" what she wanted without her even having to explain much. This shop seems to have a hard time keeping American employees.. not sure what the deal is but I've gotten service here several times.. and every time I'm appointed to a new American tech, when I ask about the others they say "they don't work here anymore" something seems fishy about that.. first of all why do I keep getting appointments to only the American tech. I have never had a bad experience with them and I have tried every service they offer. Kim is my nail tech and she never disappoints. I booked my appointment online for four of us! Mani/Pedis we checked in and washed our hands super sanitary especially with Covid times! It's their first day open but you wouldn't be able to tell they had my pick my colors and got sat in the most upgraded massage chairs I've sat in for a pedicure! Very modern and beautiful!! I recently visited MJ Nails for the first time and opted for a simple regular manicure (without polish) and pedicure. My technician, Han, hurried through the process, aggressively filed down my natural nails, and was careless with the polish removal--leaving residue all over my fingers and hands until I pointed it out. I have been going to Brian for about two in a half years now at MJ Nails for my manicures and pedicures. I have not gone anywhere else in Vegas since I tried this place out. Brian has always been consistent with the best services since day one! My nails last and I never had a problem with my nails chipping every time I go out of town. They are all very professional here. My guy was nice. My friends guy Dong was nice. I'm pleased with my toes. I've had better paint jobs, but my guy (didn't get his name) was gentle and kind. The number one important thing to ME is cleanliness. The salon was clean, and most importantly they open the tool packaging right in front of you. This was the MOST important thing to me. Unfortunately, my experience changed after I simply asked for clarification on pricing. I was charged $70 for a full set, then $82 when I returned for a fill. I wasn't arguing about the cost or saying anyone's work wasn't worth the price. I simply asked what the base price was for my services so I would know what to expect going forward. Instead of receiving a straightforward answer, the owner became extremely defensive and hostile, repeatedly talking about what her work was worth. That was never the issue. The issue was consistency and transparency. What made the situation even more disappointing was that I had recently referred her business to a group of approximately 150 people because I believe in supporting and promoting local businesses. I would never expect special treatment because of that, but I do expect to be spoken to respectfully when asking a reasonable question about what I'm being charged. During my visits, I also witnessed the owner speaking very rudely to employees in front of customers, which made me uncomfortable. Afterward, I saw a reel posted joking about clients questioning inconsistent totals at checkout, including a scenario where a customer says they were charged a different amount the previous time. Considering what had just happened, I found that incredibly unprofessional. I have no problem paying for quality work. I do have a problem when pricing seems to change without clear explanation and a simple question about the price results in hostility. Customers should be able to ask what a service costs without being made to feel uncomfortable for asking. Unfortunately, after this experience, I can no longer comfortably refer people here.

A regular gel manicure is $50, and nail art typically starts around $5 per nail, depending on the design. Chrome and cat-eye effects are an additional $25. A little tip for anyone with a similar situation: I had the ingrown nails on both of my big toes removed by a podiatrist, so my natural nails are much narrower now. My nail technicians simply use Gel-X or acrylic to widen and reshape my big toenails, and the results look so natural that you'd never know it isn't my real nail shape. I also want to give a shout-out to the front desk staff. The receptionists are always warm and welcoming when you arrive, and they'll check in throughout your appointment to see if you'd like any refreshments. They offer complimentary mocktails, coffee, water, soda, juice, and even some alcoholic beverages. Whenever I need a last-minute appointment, I just give them a quick call, and they're usually able to fit me in. The owners are also incredibly kind and generous. They frequently host giveaways and special events to show appreciation for their customers, which makes the experience feel even more special. I always leave feeling relaxed and well taken care of. One thing that has always stood out to me is how genuinely caring the staff is. If I have an appointment that runs late into the evening, they make sure I get to my car safely before locking up for the night. The shopping center has never made me feel unsafe, but you can never be too careful. That extra level of thoughtfulness and care is just one more reason why I've continued coming here for years.
