My husband arrived home with the ultra bag with the two items I needed. I asked my husband did you go to the register ? NO you made it so easy for me to get what you needed by the pictures. I purchased the items before you called them. I called Ultra to let them know they can put the two items back for someone else. Jasmine answered the phone in the sweetest voice. I said hi, and I explained that my husband picked up a lip liner pencil in "cork"and a silky matte creamy lipstick in " Twig Twist #690 " and that I have the two exact products on hold at the register and I gave her my husbands name. Jasmine said " Oh Thank You for calling and letting us know." " We truly appreciate you letting us know." I said no " Thank you!" This is WHY I love Ultra and the employees here are all amazing.!!! Customer service is amazing, the employees and the manager are number 1 in my book. !!!! Large fully stocked store, assistants to help, polite, clean, very well organized, and maintained. If you should choose not to heed this warning and go to this salon anyways the stylist name is Jennifer do yourself and your pocket book a favor and pick someone else although I'm unable to verify if the other stylist there are more professional and it goes to reason that a place willing to staff a decidedly unprofessional acting "professional stylist" such as Jennifer that like company tends to congregate and their quality care is their quality care so proceed with caution, unless you have a thousand dollars your simply willing to burn for a horrible experience but to each their own I guess, here is what we received: Within the first week the extensions started falling out. One came out almost immediately, three before the second week and more followed. By the second week of February ,14 of the extensions sat in a ziplock bag and that was what was left of my gift to her before Valentine's Day. To date they kept coming and we've been left with we me trying to install them back myself and most of the ones that remain were put in by me someone with zero experience in the matter, This obviously shouldn't happen so soon after a professional installation however people have off days so we were willing to reach out to correct the problem , no harm no foul right?wrong , after reaching out to Jennifer and explaining the situation I got one response , "who is this?" Then after explaining AGAIN several times I've gotten nothing but ghosted, 800 dollars is no small expense for us and I saved up considerably just to get this done for her as we've come into hard financial times and she's been left without being able to get it done for several years now so the install was actually a pretty big deal and one she was incredibly excited about and what we've received is just something I never would have expected to have to live with from someone who calls themselves a professional. paying that much for a professional service , I don't think it's unreasonable to expect results that last longer than a single week Seeing Lauren so excited about getting her hair done again after such a long time made the disaster that was placed on her head that much more heartbreaking .Seeing them fall out like this has been upsetting and embarrassing for her. We reached out multiple times trying to resolve the issue and schedule a correction appointment, but unfortunately we haven't received a response. We would much rather have handled this directly and given the stylist Jennifer the opportunity to make it right. All we've been asking for is a proper correction appointment and a full check of the installation so the extensions are secure, which seems like a reasonable expectation for a service of this price. To be fair I have not spoken to the owner and it's still entirely possible that upon reading this that they are unaware they have a stylist in their mix giving their establishment a bad name. It's possible the others aren't like this and I want to be fair but also want people to be informed so what happened to us doesn't happen to them. I'm leaving this review because communication and accountability matter, especially when clients invest this kind of money and trust in a professional service. If the salon is willing to address the issue and correct the installation, we would absolutely update this review and would expect no less from any establishment masquerading around as a professional service , only time will tell I guess. I will further update this review as the situation progresses so as to inform future would be potential customers . Thank you

I said I wanted to cancel, and the staff member didn't even apologize for the delay or the wasted time. I wasted an entire hour between driving there, sitting in their waiting room, and driving back home. Totally unprofessional and disorganized. It did not melt down properly. It was grainy And had all the indications of being an inferior and old product. it should be noted that this product was sold to me as final sale. The owners did not provide a reason for final sale but now I know it's likely because the product is inferior and the owner is aware of this and is selling it anyways to recoup their cost I called this morning disgruntled and wanting some sort of accommodation. This wax flaked off my skin and irritated it so severely that bumps formed in minutes. When I called to express my distain, the owners took no responsibility and only offered an exchange which would require me to drive an hour round-trip. I asked the owner if there was anything they could do to further accommodate this incredible inconvenience as this was a product meant to be used Saturday evening, but due to it Unstable nature, I could not Sunday they are closed and Monday I worked during their open hours. The owner argued with me and laughed at my audacity to ask for additional compensation for this inconvenience. I asked if my business was not important to them and mentioned that they would be losing my business. They did not seem to care very much. I'm a huge purveyor of supporting small and local businesses, but not when it feels like my money and patronage are not being valued. As much as I hate Amazon, I would have never had to deal with such inconvenience and poor customer service and lack of accountability from that company so it seems the business I have given Mike a beauty for nine years will now be transferred over to Amazon or Bobo's beauty supply in Montclair, which has consistently offered top-tier customer service, Selection, quality, care, fair pricing and so much more.
