I tried to purchase a house for my mother, but I was also in the process of refinancing my house. Somehow, the previous broker that I used messed it all up because the financing somehow got connected. I was desperate and I thought I would lose the house that I have built for my mom. Then my friend recommended me to George and Joanna. Within 24hr, they took over and started evaluating my paperwork. And 15 days later, I was able to close my mom's house. HORRIBLE company! They do not care when your purchase agreement expires and you do not hear from them until the day before you are suppose to close. The day of closing, they tell me they are working on it still. Another day goes by, then another, then 9 more days and the whole time we are not getting any answers. It would have been nice if the owner or manager reached out to us or if they actually did something so we do not lose the deal. Very frustrating when you do not hear when you can close. The buyer finally gave up and now I am out thousands of dollars. AFTER the buyer quit on us they now tell us we can close and now they want more money from us $1500 and another 1/2 % point. WHAT?! There are PLENTY of other lenders to choose from. Do yourself a favor and use a different lender. read more

My process started back in august and since then I keep getting the run around not only about her being short staffed but also her emails not working at times or not even getting a response back for days. I totally understand the situation with covid going on and a lot of stuff are backed up because of it, but I think a simple reply back would be helpful it's called having great costumer service. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with ML Mortgage. Background: I had to refinance after purchasing my home because my current mortgage company would not do a Recast on the current loan to help bring my mortgage payments down. (This is an option for some to put money down AFTER they close to allow lowering their payment and keeping their current interest rate.) I reached out to a loan officer I knew for some advice and he recommended Zain. It only took a phone call and we were connected and discussing refinancing options. We decided to let them help us in refinancing in May of 2018, they told us that our property taxes wouldn't change being that our house was in a trust when originally purchased. They told us they were going to work on it before our first payment came in but when we received our first statement it was $450 more then we were told it was going to be... Not only were we lied to but in my opinion they payed themselves more then they should have on the closing costs, my only fault was trusting the words of someone the outcome wasn't going to effect.
