I had nothing but problems with Jose and his team but hopefully my experience will serve as a…read morewarning for others. I had LVP floors installed and had my subfloor leveled. Jose had his team/family members do the work, and though they were hard workers, they were incredibly bad at their job. The leveling was completely inadequate and I had to get them back to redo two rooms. The transition pieces were all uneven and they broke one, getting glue everywhere. Jose loves to gaslight and says "my team wouldn't do that". Of course they did and the images prove it. Multiple walls had the flooring right up against the wall instead of leaving the 1/4 inch required gap for expansion. Jose himself was the worst communicator, not saying when his team would arrive till 30 minutes before, when they weren't coming everyday and a few times wouldn't show up due to random excuses. But the worst thing of all, was how uneven the subfloor is. They put so much self-leveling that I had to severely modified doors so that they could open. It was done so poorly, the subfloor varied by a half an inch from the door frame to the wall where the door opens. This was the case on three of the doors in my place. Closet openings were even worse, being 3/4 of an inch off from one side to the other causing lots of expense and a lot of work to find a solution to get a closet door to fit. Overall, the work done is what I would expect a first time floor layer to do. Jose himself was full of excuses and loved to gaslight. The price might seem competitive, but the quality of work makes you feel like you overpaid multiple times.

The result was standing water on the floor. The only way to deal with this problem was to squeegee and dry the entire shower every time it was used. Alex wasn't the cheapest one out there, but after reading his reviews I decided to give him a shot. It was the right decision. Alex removed the existing shower floor and re-tiled it for me. He is a General Contractor and can basically do anything you need done from large projects to small. Once he started our job, we were his sole focus and he came every day with his team of guys he has known and worked with for many years. I had a major flood in my house from a pipe leak in the bathroom which required a total gutting and remodeling of my bathroom, new luxury plank flooring throughout the entire house, installation of 2 new French doors and then painting of the entire house. My bathroom is amazing - I turned a tub into a walk in shower and picked some challenging tiles to work with - 3 D for the shower and mosaic for the shower floor. The bathroom is gorgeous! Then it was on to removing the water damaged old wood flooring in the entire house and replacing it with LVP floors which looks fantastic. Other contractors told us we would have to move all our furniture and ourselves out for about a month at a significant cost to do this work but David said he would move our furniture from room allowing us to stay in our house. This was a lot of work for David and crew who carefully moved our furniture and "stuff" from room to room and putting everything back where it was originally. One of the most important things about David is his desire to please the customer. If you are not absolutely happy with something, he will work to make it perfect. His job satisfaction comes from the customer's happiness with the project. I cannot recommend David Gonzales enough and his professional and courteous crew.

The guy Gil, he has been working at this place for a good 20 years. He was very nice at first when the sales went down, obviously because he's a sales guy. When it came to actually picking up the tile i ordered, i was deceived, tricked, bamboozled, or whatever you want to call it. Please see the pictures uploaded. This is a classic "what i wanted vs what i actually received". What was on display is COMPLETELY different than the item we received. Gil and all the other employees were no help when I complained. When i first noticed, i went back as soon as possible and Gil was not there that day. His own coworkers told me this was not the first time a customer has experienced something like this and came back complaining about Gil lying or tricking customers (seems like they were sick of cleaning up Gil's messes). By the way, Gil told me he was the owner the first day I was there (probably so he can try to sell me more), so i thought he can help make things right. However, he lied about that too!! Turns out he is only the manager who didnt have much authority to even help out. I very much had a right to be angry and when i said i wanted to return it, they said theres a 25% restocking fee and kept pushing me to take store credit even though i bought everything i needed the first day i came here. Why would i want store credit when my remodel was pretty much complete? I ended up keeping the tile because my time was of the essence and i couldnt waste time returning it and buying from somewhere else. ALSO NOTE, I pretty much had to force them to take down the deceitful display tile because I didnt want anyone else to fall victim to their scam like I did. I will warn anyone and everyone about this place because it really was such a frustrating experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. If i could give 0 stars, I would. Do not come here!

To be honest, I really didn't know what I was doing but I knew exactly what I wanted. When I met Jesse he explained to me at length the various phases of the project and what was required for the scope of work I was seeking. I admit I was a needy customer but by the time I had gathered all my data, Jesse was the guy I felt most confident in hiring. The quality of work, attention to detail, and just overall craftsmanship was exceptional and I couldn't be happier with the service and level of workmanship his team provided me.
