This review is long overdue! I had best kitchen and bath come out and redo my entire 2400 square-foot three story home. They redid three bathrooms and my entire kitchen. They also did flooring and all of my bathrooms, my kitchen, rooms and on all of my stairs. (Total of 4 stair cases), four bathrooms and four bedrooms. They did my counters, cabinets, backsplashes, fixtures and sinks in all my kitchen and bathrooms. All of the work has held up so nicely! They even did tile in all the bathrooms and you can not tell the difference between the tile and the wood. I chose Best Kitchen and Bath after my neighbor referred them. I called and spoke with Serena and she scheduled an appointment for the next day. Serena arrived on time and was very friendly. She listened to what we wanted and gave us ideas and options as we have a very small kitchen. We liked her ideas and she had a quote and computer scetch drawings for us later that day. We had A local Home improvement store (HD) come out and give us a quote for cabinet refinishing and counters. They were almost double what Serena had quoted. Oh and P.S. Serena was putting in all new cabinets, counters and floor. So we liked our designs and signed the contract. Serena was available almost immediatelly everytime we had a question, idea, change or concern. She definatelly made us feel comfortable with the job. About a week later her installeres arrived early Monday morning. The installers were very friendly, placed down drop clothes and were respectful of my house. I was initally told the job would take 5 days. But these guys worked hard. They got everything done and completed in 4 days. My wife and I were amazed. I just finished my condo kitchen remodel. After talking to a few companies, I decided to go with Best Home Kitchen. I had gotten an estimate from Serena and found them to be the best value for the budget I had. A bonus was that a very good friend of mine also worked with the company and Serena too. Best Home Kitchen and Bath came out to remodel our kitchen. First off, quality. The job quality is insane. It's so good! I'm excited every time I walk into the kitchen. It feels like it keeps getting better. The tile beautifully laid, the counter tops were cut and beveled custom, everything is solid and firm, no cracks or weird artifacts left behind. I couldn't ask for more. Didn't expect incredibly fast work, they were in and out, took care of protecting everything, ripped out the old kitchen, fixed up some issues we had lingering, then went right to work, and before we knew it everything was up, solid, sturdy, evenly installed, balanced, and secured. If only I had a experienced contractor like them for everything. They gave options for all facets of the job, had considerations we never knew existed, and helped select the best ideas and layout for everything when we needed a little help with design. My husband and I had been "shopping" around for a company that could replace the kitchen cabinets and kitchen countertops in our small townhouse kitchen for $10-15K in a short time (1-2 weeks). Best Home Kitchen & Bath was the only company that checked all our boxes. Not only was Serena the fastest, most efficient person we worked with during the Quoting/Consultation, but she's an expert at what she does. She mentioned in our meeting at their showroom that they do 1000+ kitchens a year. The best part was that they could start ASAP and didn't have any issues with materials. Other kitchen companies were providing start days in May 2022. On the first day, Serena came to make sure everything started out okay. OUTSTANDING REMODEL 1960 KITCHEN TO MODERN EUROPEAN CABINETS Our 1960s style kitchen got a huge modernization from BEST HOME KITCHEN & BATH. I am a repeat customer had my two bathrooms remodeled by this outstanding independent business. Take a look at the pictures, European cabinets are definitely the way to go with minimal look full length cabinet pulls and the shiny finish for easy cleanup. No wood gaps between each opening to maximize storage. The best feature are the LARGE DRAWERS with SOLID STEEL SIDES AND FULL EXTENSION TRACKS below the counters. So much easier pulling open a drawer to access all the cooking pots; no need to dig inside on your knees as in the older shelves. Food pantry as well; anything below counter level now are full drawer pullouts for ease access all the pasta and snacks. Only under the sink and sides got cabinet doors so the blind corners can be utilized; great for the heavier crock pot, pressure cooker and all the ziplock containers on the opposite side. There is a Lazy Susan option for the blind corners; however to maximize storage especially for all the Tupperware went with full sized shelves for the blind corner cubbyholes Our kitchen had plastic laminate countertops and did not want Quartz which has a similiar appearance. We decided on huge Granite counters with rounded edges and wow does it pop! The granite counter cut perfect to avoid water buildup by covering up the top sides of large Italian Ruvati sink ordered from Wayfair. Under the increased depth sink actually saves room due to just one drain at the right. Heavy duty black PVC drain pipe are installed with ease removal connections for use of unclog snake if needed years later. A wall outlet added under the sink and the garbage disposal has a plug style power cord installed. The same precision cutout of the granite counter to accommodate the 5 burner Kitchen Aid counter top stove; a very snug perfect fit clearing the large cooking pot drawers underneath. For flooring; options ceramic tile, wood flooring or vinyl. Since wood flooring not water resistant and tile has grout dirt buildup issue, went with no gap vinyl tile with redwood appearance. Very durable and very easy to clean. All walls from floor to ceiling have beautiful shiny convex wave style wall tile from TILE FORCE located few doors down from BEST HOME. The window also tile treatment; no more condensation buildup from older plaster window sill. European shelves are adjustable with steel pins. This really a great feature, the adjustable shelves in every cabinet allows for different size pots and small appliance storage. Speaking of small appliances a nice bonus having a large counter allows for additional cabinets all the way across under the breakfast bar side. This perfect for all the small appliances to keep the counters open for cooking. A modern style two gang outlet installed at the edge of the counter. This works out great for infrequent use small appliances pulled from the cabinet such as can opener or popcorn; no need to plug into the wall at the opposite end of the counter. I can watch the popcorn popping while sitting at the bar. 30 WALL OUTLETS no kidding! This easily accomplished adding six way adapter boxes to traditional style two gang new wall outlets spaced evenly around the kitchen counter. No more power strips; everything from microwave to toaster to the multiple coffee machines at the coffee bar all plugged in. The coffee bar cabinet above has FULL opening double hinges for a very easy access of coffee and the opened door not covering up the coffee machines below. No stooping to pull out the baked turkey roast. As in our older oven, the new Kitchen Aid convect wall oven mounted at slightly above counter top level. Basting the turkey or multiple trays of cookies a pleasure when not having to crouch down. The cabinet above the fridge got a custom rear box doubling its prefabricated capacity. An ideal storage for party chafing servers, ice bucket and Faberware food warmer. Above the wall mounted stove another tall cabinet for the rotisserie oven and liquor bar filled with wine rum and all the booze. A very nice bonus! Cabinets are prefabbed resulting in filler panels to accommodate gaps. On the oven side the installer moved the bank of cabinets to the edge of the kitchen entry which allowed increased the left side gap to six inches wide. This does not seem like much but at 24 inches depth and the entire height of the wall a perfect broom closet! A shelf added for dustpan and garbage bag storage inside. The CUSTOM full height door panel matched to the adjacent cabinets. The broom closet inconspicuous hidden by the tall narrow door panel that appears as side trim. read more

The previous owners of our home, to be brutally honest, were the dumbest people on the planet. They did a kitchen remodel that was sheer garbage. Garbage design, garbage parts and just straight up embarrassing jenky install work. There's this ad in the local mailer and it always says, "Get kitchen remodel for $5995!" Of course that should peek anyone's interest with a ton of skepticism. But, let's get real. That's for 10 linear feet with a small selection of yesteryear granite. Here's the kicker. Custom contractor for same job? $11000. Home Depot contractor? $9800. So I took the plunge after doing some Google reviews and taking a look right here. The result? Holy Kitchen Batman! This was pretty cool. Serena was our project manager. Simple, straight forward and all business. That may sound cold, but it's not. It's highly effective. I sent her pictures, she emailed me a 3D CAD, my eyes popped out and we were off to the races. Deposit, scheduled target date and done. Two weeks gone by... A crew shows up at 8:00a on a Saturday. The kitchen was done by 6:00p same day!!! She projected 3-5 days on our project. Um. Nope. 3 mild mannered Chinese guys and Serena in tow. Directions, plan of action, tear down start, tear down cleanup, cut, install, plumb, repair, patch, install clean up, out. It was some damn surgical type shizzle if I've ever seen any. Now, what did it ACTUALLY COST? We did do a lot of other touches and upgrades. When we priced those out before hiring Serena, we had quotes of up to $22000. Yes, they were building some highly customizable parts and cabinets with some fancy backsplash. We went straight forward off the rack with a very customized sink and quartz countertop. $12000. I did a complete kitchen remodel and it turned out beautiful. We selected a nice antique white cabinet and a beautiful quartz countertop, plus our own personal finishes such as the back splash materials and the cabinet pulls/knobs, and all of it was installed professionally. Incredibly the work was completed in just 6 days, including installation of a huge center island that is now the centerpiece of our kitchen. Their prices are absolutely reasonable, especially considering the quality of the cabinets, the workmanship, and the installation time. As a bonus all the drawers came with the soft close and we even got pull-outs for our pantry cabinets as part of the package. Jimmy (the owner) was very responsive and paid attention to all our requests, no matter how minor. We changed and added things along the way and he accommodated all our requests, only adding nominal surcharges for our new additions. We now have a $30K kitchen and paid a fraction of that price. If I could give them zero stars I would. Do NOT give this company your business. I will make a very very long story shorter. They told me they cut the quartz on site so it might be dusty. Ok... as they were cutting, the did not use water or the shop vac they brought. My entire yard was caked in dust and they did NOTHING to clean it up. As they were installing, they dropped one of the sections on the piece they just installed and tried to cover it up. Luckily my security cameras caught them. Otherwise, they would have likely blamed me for the damage. They sent the same guy who couldn't cover it up the first time to try and fix it. It only made it worse, so then they sent a second guy who had much better skills, but couldn't repair it. I was patient and I finally was offered a replacement slab... waited another three weeks before the replacement slab was installed. Yep you guessed it, the same installer who dropped the first piece. Per their contract, the only warranty they provide is for their installation for 12 months and not any manufacturer warranty. When asked for the manufacturer warranty (to know to clean and maintain) I was told the slab yard didn't have one. Very unusual. The workers only speak Chinese and when I asked the translator/coordinator to have the worker clean something, she talked to him and then he left. I had to use google translate to tell one of the guys to remove the dirt stains he left trying to fix the seams. Acid products like vinegar and acetone are not recommended for quartz. Yet, during the re-install they had a gallon bottle of it sitting on the counter. Hmm, might be why a manufacturer warranty isn't provided. I would have been better off doing it myself. After researching countless fabricators to complete my kitchen countertops and backsplash replacement, I landed on best home construction and I couldn't be happier with my decisions, I really appreciate that: -worked with my budget -answered all my emailed questions -provided advice but let me make decisions without pressure -continue to work on the weekend so I didn't have to wait extra two days without kitchen - was highly responsive to pop- up issues during the work execution -I need to point out that the cabinet and countertops was done by BHC was outstanding; they attention to detail, experience, and craftsmanship was fantastic and I could not be any more happy.. I am so glad I decided to the work to someone with 15 years experience. The demolition and installation was done by jimmy and crew was excellent; they were so friendly and helpful in addressing all of my questions and concerns. I am not used to review on the yelp, but those guys from Best Home Construction company did a great job that I wished I could give them 10 stars!!! My new house is about 2700 square feet, they have remodel a kitchen, three bathrooms, replaced all carpet with wood floor and a lots detailed fixations in 15 days!! Can you image to remodel the almost whole house with an amazing work in 15 days? All my friends felt unbelievable until they saw my house, which is extremely great! This review is long overdue. Decided to have my kitchen remodel back in early 2016. Back then they were called Best Granite Kitchen and Bath. I asked for an estimate and they promptly arranged and sent someone out to my house. They emailed the quote as well as a "blue print " of what my kitchen would look like. Unfortunately, they couldn't do the corner cabinets that I wanted because the space was restricted; unless they move my stove out of center and have a dead space on the other side of it. I believe it's because their cabinets are prefabricated already? I ended up getting only the granite and plumbing work with them. I decided to have my kitchen cabinets custom made in Tijuana as recommended by another contractor that worked for me several times. It was cheap, but you pay cash(or check). But what a nightmare! They kept on delaying the schedule, they won't answer most of my phone calls (I bombarded them with voice messages), and the worst part is I have no idea where their shop is exactly. All my fault since I didn't do my due diligence. It all worked out, the design and quality of the cabinets are very good but the finish was disappointing. Had to restain them a bit. That's a different story altogether. A couple of times I had to make changes and they sent out people to take the new measurements without any fuss. I had chosen a pattern that was out of price range for what I was quoted on. But they were kind enough to give me the upgrade at no extra charge. Also, the stainless steel sink was also free and you can choose from 3 styles (from what I remember). The workers were supposed to come at 0930 but they showed up at 0830, which was good for me. There were two of them and they immediately started working. They made sure that that the patterns looked seamless as they put the pieces together. When they did the plumbing they realized that there was a missing piece (I used my existing faucet) so I went out and bought a new one hoping that it would have it but it was the same problem. Fortunately, they were able to work it out using some spare parts that they had. All in all it took them 10 hours to finish, they took several breaks. I felt bad because I didn't even offer them food or drinks. They thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. Also, have to mention that the owner dropped by to check on the progress and the men were very courteous. The next day I realized that a pipe was leaking so I called immediately, and the owner came by in the afternoon to get it fixed, as well as fill in and re/seal the countertops. Don't know if it's under the same management , but i had pleasant transaction with company. And I do know that the kitchen was the main thing that sold my townhouse, so I'm glad I did it. read more
