Georgino Stone and Tile has done a masterful job restoring and improving our home after an unfortunate slab leak destroyed much of the drywall, a bath vanity and the hardwood flooring in our home. George and his associates have gone above and beyond and we have thoroughly enjoyed having them here. They've replaced all of the floors and baseboards with a combination of tile planks and talavera tiles. All rooms have been painted with new doors and trim. Several doors that were never installed correctly were re-installed and repainted. Walls and backsplashes were tiled with incredible artistry. New ceiling lights were installed and old lights were trouble-shooted. Genuine, honest and trustworthy, George and his crew have been truly courteous and friendly workers to have in our home. We are repeat customers. Many years ago Georgino Stone & Tile fabricated soapstone and granite countertops for us when we remodeled our kitchen and baths. I remembered George and didn't hesitate to bring him back 7-8 years later after our recent slab leak. We hired George to tear out and replace a small corner shower in our guest bathroom. Almost immediately he identified the source of the leak ("whoever installed this shower used the wrong drain"), something 2 other plumbers who came out did not identify. From the beginning it was clear George is very experienced in his craft. After tearing out the shower George identified multiple problems with the prior shower and documented them w/o being asked. Once the walls were open he also informed us we had a major termite problem and we needed to bring in specialists bc it was bad. This brought our HOA into the picture and this is where we were especially glad to have George on our team. The management company repeatedly hired nonprofessionals, who either did things wrong, or didn't know how to solve problems. George fixed the problems created by these other contractors and told them how to proceed where they were stumped. In the end, George demoed our entire bathroom, ripping out the shower, toilet, sink, floor and subfloor. Moved the shower drain to align with the new shower pan drain location, added structural support to the floor bc the prior owners' contractor cut structural joists, re-plumbed the toilet drain (other contractor cut it out for no reason) and, water proofed the entire bathroom shower and floor, poured the concrete floor, installed 3 new water lines (2 sink, 1 toilet), installed new shower pan and new shower doors, new toilet, 10x13 hex tile floor, 6x16 subway tile with offset pattern, a large custom niche with a split. In the end, the work is all great, but the reason I really enjoyed working with George is because he was an excellent communicator through out the entire process (project close to 3 months from start to finish bc of HOA dragging their feet, not at all bc of George), and he is an honest guy. I'm my experience ppl are always trying to bait and switch you, but George was consistently honest and trustworthy from day 1 to project end. In fact, I already paid him in full, and he wants to come back and install the shower door sweep (piece was missing from the shower door set) when it arrives bc he said he would feel better if he did it. I would definitely recommend George. He isn't the cheapest, but I don't think you'll find anyone quality for less. Atleast, that is my feeling. Amazing value. read more

We interviewed many tile workers and decided on Georgino for his fair price and his excellent creative cost saving solutions. We were impressed when he showed up on time with his assistant and finished the job in a timely manner and cleaned up after he was finished. After allowing the caulking to cure, he was available to fill in some tiny pinholes and again showed up at the agreed upon time and an excellent finished job. For months I had been struggling to find someone to fix my leaking shower. Several plumbers and other remodel contractors had come by to look at the shower and either said they could not repair or replace the shower valve without me providing the required parts (how would I know what parts are required?!) or that the tile would have to be cut and removed to access the shower valve and reinstalled at a cost of several thousand dollars - at a minimum. I finally found George who gave me sound advice and a couple of options that could be explored before having to cut the tile. George came over as scheduled and was able to take the cartridge out of the shower valve and run it to a few plumbing stores to figure out the brand (Danze; no longer made) and get the required replacement parts. George reinstalled the cartridge and the leaking stopped! George came up with a great game plan that ended up saving me thousands of dollars - at a minimum. George has earned my trust & confidence and I will certainly have him back for future plumbing and other repair jobs at the house. Thank you George for your honesty and timely assistance! read more
