OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL!!!! Frank received my call of urgency regarding a broken tile on my kitchen countertop and I explained that I needed it repaired by the next day. Frank said no problem and came by the next day and repacked the broken. That kind of service is EXTREMELY difficult to find today from businesses, but Pinnacle Tile and Stone are TRUE OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONALS. I highly recommended them. Thank you. V/r Henry G

I wonder if these reviews are all legitimate. I left two messages requesting a quote and didn't even get a call back.

They worked their butts off pulling the old out, pulling out roots that had gotten under the old driveway, and putting in a bunch of rebar. They did a great job matching up to the older driveway sections (large circular driveway). I've been driving on it now for about a week and it looks great and came out really nice looking. Got ~ 3-4 quotes and they were reasonable on their quote after some discussion. Would recomend them. Getting additional quotes from them on other work since they're an all-around GC.

It took me one attempt to realize each stone was INDIVIDUALLY glued to the wall. Removal meant ripping off the textured drywall. I needed help and requested quotes with 5 companies. Gloria Construction requested additional details within their response, a method I preferred with the virus and all. When I supplied the info (with a great delay because of how I handle personal todos) I had a quote within a few hours and the ability to come the same week. I felt excited! I reached out to Oscar to confirm time and we had an appointment set. Prior to the job I even reached out via text with additional questions which he responded to quickly while I was still at Lowes! At the end of the job I asked for a quote to paint the rest of my living room/entry way and was told I would hear back on an available date soon. I'm excited and look forward to working with Gloria Construction again. They're quotes are very fair. The quality of work is great. I would highly recommend! I will definitely post photos when it's all done!

They decided the cause was a failing shower pan, replaced it, and assured us the problem was solved, but they never ran water through the drain to confirm the pipe itself wasn't leaking. Two weeks after our final payment, the leak came back in the exact same spot. When I raised it, the project manager's defense was that we'd only asked them to fix the pan, not the leak. We didn't. We asked them to fix the leak - they're the ones who decided the pan was the culprit, and they're trying to leave us on the hook. In April, we identified a leak coming from our shower. We've been in this house just shy of 3 years, the shower pan creaked as you stepped on it, so when a bubble appeared in the first floor ceiling below it, we were disappointed but maybe not surprised. We reached out to several companies for quotes, and ultimately moved forward with Lumina. The first picture shows that leak. We had a less expensive quote, but based on the questions they asked and the answers they gave, Lumina appeared to be more competent. They could also perform more of the work themselves, while other companies wanted us to address the various problems piecemeal. They agreed to perform all of the work except the shower enclosure replacement. This included demo, rebuilding the shower pan, retiling the shower, and replacing and repainting the damaged section of ceiling. Their quote was a little over $9k, plus a couple hundred for tile and about 2 thousand for the shower enclosure. We specifically requested an inspection. While Tal, our project manager, expressed confidence in their ability to do hot mops, we wanted to minimize the risk of future problems. He agreed and we paid our inspection fees. With the inspection fees, the project came in at just over $12k. Once the project started, Tal proved a poor and intemperate communicator: he balked when I asked what days workmen were coming, and turned hostile when I pushed to understand the next steps. His foreman, Eric, smoothed things over and kept me informed. I was surprised when they closed the ceiling before the new shower pan was validated. I'd expected that they'd want to see the pipes drain before closing it up, but I trusted their judgement. This was a mistake. To their credit, Eric was patient in explaining their findings. The previous owners had completed what can only be described as a ramshackle repair, stuffing a 2x4 in a hole rather than replacing plyboard. He showed me pictures of a hole, and I believed his assessment that they'd root-caused the leak. This seemed convincing to me, a homeowner with no plumbing experience. Inspections were underwhelming. I expected that an inspector would perform them. Instead, they performed them, and said they sent a text message to the inspectors. The test of the shower pan is to fill it with water, stop the plug, and wait 24 hours. In the morning of the first "inspection", the shower pan was empty - they said they'd incorrectly stopped the drain. I was pressured to accept this as a successful inspection, despite it completely failing. I pushed back, and they ran a second trial which passed. An actual city inspector came only after the shower glass was installed, and he did not validate anything with water. We made our last payment on June 2. On June 17, we found a new blister with evidence of moisture in the exact same place as the previous one - that's the last picture. A moisture meter read 30% moisture 10 hours after the latest shower, and 10% elsewhere. I texted Tal with a picture and details, asking for a call tomorrow. He instead called within a couple minutes, immediately defensive, claiming that I'd told him it was the shower pan and they'd fixed it, it'd passed inspections, there was no chance this was their fault or that they should address the problem. I asked him to sleep on it - my expectation was that in the morning, he'd acknowledge that this was at least something he should investigate before making an assessment. Maybe they'd take responsibility, or at least do the repair at cost. He remained defensive and adamant. I lost my temper that our $12k fix had barely made it 2 weeks, and I started writing this review. Tal has insisted that I asked them to fix the shower pan, not the leak. This is incorrect - they're the ones who determined the pan was at fault and fixed it. They had good reason to believe the pan was the problem, but they never validated that the drain pipe itself drained without leaking. And, $12k poorer, I still have a leak and a project manager who refuses to accept any responsibility. If you want a company that cuts corners, has it in tight with the city inspectors, and will leave you on the hook, then Lumina Builders is the company for you.

I'm the type of person who is very specific about what I want and I did my homework. I got four different bids for this project, and C2C was the clear winner. Their quote was completely itemized--which I appreciated--and ended up being well under every other retail bid I received. Two people really made the difference: Mary and Bolo. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. The house looks amazing (see the photos of the Blue Thunder Quartzite and the Jade tile!). They were fair, they were fast, and most importantly, they were responsive. Highly recommend if you want high-end results without the "luxury markup" of other firms.

This is the second water leak mitigation & restoration we've done with C2C and while the PM on the…read morerestoration portion was outstanding this time, overall, there were more issues with the mitigation than last. Specifically, they subbed out the demo portion to another company which incurred more costs and thus lead to rejection of payment by insurance company. Or rather, it was ruled as costs extending beyond ordinary expenses. Had it been included with the mitigation equipment, the insurance would've likely accepted it, as it did last time. The actual work performed by everyone was great in the end, just as it had been last time. Everything was remediated properly and more importantly, timely. Brandon the PM on mitigation along with David the PM on the restoration side were great, with David being the most responsive and communicative PM I've ever worked with. Meaning, updates everyday, as promised. That was the best part of the whole project for me as an anxious homeowner. I will say that my own insurance agent didn't help matters either in this case. He was super hard to work with and eventually C2C had trouble reaching him. This also soured the whole experience as everyone worked to track him down by phone and to prove that all expenses were legitimate. I'm on the fence as to whether to use C2C again for mitigation. Would not hesitate to use them for restoration though.

Based on that storyline, they're refusing to take responsibility for the flooring damage. The windows were installed without permits. All confirmed active water intrusion and pointed to the window installation as the likely source. Despite that, Forever Builders continues to deny, redirect, and avoid addressing the actual installation. The floors never had water intrusion before the remodel. The problem started after their work. Instead of owning it and fixing it, they've chosen to argue technicalities and wait for CSLB to force the issue.
