MLBB Hot Pot is one of my favorite spots in Metro Atlanta. This is a terrific AYCE hot pot spot with an incredible selection of items. There even is a soda fountain if you're anything like me and live off Diet Coke. Service has always been on point during my family's visits to MLBB. Drinks get refilled quickly, additional broth is added almost before we ask, and dirty plates get whisked away very quickly. There's a lot of premium or "premium" type of ingredients like pig intestines that you don't really expect to find at that many hot pot spots. I love pig intestines, and I'm proud of it. Heh, but like really, don't knock it till you try it. I'll always recommend MLBB first for people looking for a hot pot spot in the Metro Atlanta area. read more

MLBB Hot Pot was one of the best Hot Pot places we have tried in a long while. They have good flavored broth, fresh quality ingredients, fast service, clean interiors, and the list goes on and on. They have skewers with bite sized meat wrapped around different veggies and mushrooms. I got the impression that they care about their customer's every bite. The veggies, fish balls, and other perishable ingredients were kept inside the refrigerator. The shaved meats, appetizers, and other dishes you can order through a QR code menu. The table was set up conveniently with mini trash bags that were out of your way (you can put the finished skewers), a small cart next to the table for you to put empty dishes or drink bottles and whatever else you wanted. They also bring out the meat and set them here. It gives you more room on the table for you to actually enjoy your meal. We got the two flavor broth today. The Malatang is actually spicy so when you order classic spicy, ask for medium spicy. The other broth we got was the mushroom broth. They were both good but the spicy soup for us was tongue numbing spicy that made my tea tastes like seltzer water. Haha I have learned my lesson for my next visit here. If you haven't tried this place already, put it on top of your hot pot or soupy restaurant list for a chilly or rainy day. Please let me know what you thought of it after your experience! Celebrated my mom's birthday here and this was our first time trying it. Great choice for a family experience. The vibe makes everyone part of the meal. You cook together, talk more, laugh more, and stay at the table longer. Food was solid across the board. The crab legs were a highlight. Fresh and worth loading up on. The noodle options gave everyone flexibility depending on how hungry they were. The fruit bar was a nice reset between rounds. Ice cream at the end sealed it. Broth was flavorful and did its job. Nothing too overpowering, which let the ingredients shine. The real fun was the sauce station. Everyone built their own mix and took ownership of their bowl. Lots of parking up front, although it's shared with other restaurants in the plaza and fills up fast. Very casual setting, good for group hangouts as everyone will be sharing from the broth in the center. Our servers were very friendly, checked up on us often, and always brought out the orders quickly. The food was unique in that a lot of it was skewers that were premade, and we got to pick what we wanted, ranging from pork, fish, chicken, and beef on skewers. Cool concept with the skewers and allowing customers to pick out what they want from the fridge. Feel that it creates too much waste and takes up too much space. The hot pot is good, and I really like the idea of keeping the ingredients refrigerated. However, the fridge was dripping water directly onto the ingredients from the inside top area, which didn't appear to be clean. The broth tastes great, but I wouldn't recommend boiling the skewers in it--the seasoning from the skewers can overpower and alter the flavor of the broth. Additionally, the water served to us in a jar had something floating in it, so I decided to order a bottled drink instead. On a positive note, the restroom was clean, which I appreciated, and the service was excellent. read more

Compared to other hot pot places we've tried, this one stands out as the best I have been to. This is an AYCE (all-you-can-eat) hot pot restaurant with a great selection of well-seasoned meats and plenty of fresh, healthy vegetables. The sauces were similar to what you'd find at most hot pot places. However, one surprising omission was hot tea--unlike many hot pot restaurants, they only offered cold drinks and hot water, which we found unusual. The service was decent but nothing exceptional. The restaurant itself is small and brightly lit. While the appetizers and desserts were limited, the overall experience was enjoyable. read more

I have finally found my go-to hot pot spot! The broth is excellent, service is surprisingly good (especially for an Asian joint!), and all the foods we got were the tastiest and most authentic for a hot pot joint that I've had since moving to Georgia. AYCE price is worth the value and their regular dishes are good too. Their meats are tender and everything is fairly clean. If I had to say something, I didn't see any shacha at the sauce bar and the tables/chairs are definitely made for smaller Asian people lol but nothing I'd cry about considering everything else was so good! read more

We did half and half broth of bone broth and the original spicy, but I looked around and saw someone get 4 different type of soup flavor. So im guessing you could get 1-4 different types of flavor! Most everything on the skewers are self serve except the actual hotpot protein (beef and lamb is what we got) which is also AYCE. Love the variety of the sauces you can use to make your delicious hotpot sauce!! The interior is also so cute , doesnt feel like im in Georgia! As competition ramps up in the world of the All You Can Eat hot pot, I'm glad that there are more offerings to enjoy from this very underdog Taiwanese powerhouse entree that seems to be gaining traction. So MLBB Hot Pot is the latest one that I've come across which is located next to the 9292 Gopchang place right near the Chilis from the Gwinnett Place Mall. The inside is well lit, seats roughly 80-90 people and offers a huge array of items that other places do not have. Let's talk about the most important thing here and that is the broth. If you want AUTHENTIC Szechuan then this is the place to get it. I had to get the spicy broth and opted for the Traditional style which uses beef tallow rather than vegetable oil as the base. There's a deep richness to it that heightens all of the flavors and with the amount of peppercorns and chilis, the spice takes on a sweet, flowery richness that coats the mouth in all the good ways. Yes it will be spicey as it should be. It's the only way for Szechuan broth to be, spicy and numby and MLBB traditional spicy broth gives you that! Then comes the meat choices. Lamb, beef, pork blood, fried pork and a slew of other all you can eat options. There is also a plethora of additional items you can grab that come in skewers. They have it all. Fish balls, tripe, pre-marinated chicken thighs, pepper beef cubes, spicy beef cubes, tofu skins, and even pork intestines. That and on top of some essential veggies like bok choy, watercress, and napa cabbage to add to your all you can eat experience. What's also pretty interesting is that if you order the all you can eat options, they give you their new boba service drink on the house. You get one boba drink of your choice. I opted for the brown sugar one which wasn't bad. Now with service... this is where I'm slightly concerned. Service was a bit difficult to obtain. Most of the servers aren't that attentive and they didn't really circulate around to me to have me order my meats. I only was able to pop off 2 rounds and that's not good enough for me to work with compared to other hot pot joints that in fact do go to their tables and continually ask what meats they need replenished. I didn't get that experience here. Between very minimal water refills, lack of attention to asking if customers need more meat, the service was lackluster at best. Plus this place is a bit expensive. The menu price started off at $34.99. But I ended up paying $54 plus tip which was wild to me. I guess ordering the traditional style Szechuan broth because of the tallow adds $10 I guess. So if you're gonna come, come when you get paid In terms of flavors, this place is authentic!!! In terms of service, they could do better. In terms of price, double check the menu and really know what you're paying for. All in all, a great spot for families or parties to enjoy hot pot. read more

Based on other reviews, I was worried on having to wait for a long time to get a table but we didnt have this issue. Maybe because it was a holiday weekend and everyone is on a trip... One thing to note though, you have to have everyone in your party to be seated. Makes sense since your 90 minutes limit for AYCE starts then. Once seated, you can order items from the menu (some items have additional cost) and go pick out your skewers. There's also a sauce station and cold bar with fruits, appetizers, and crab legs. Though I'm thinking crab legs are specific to dinner pricing. For our broth we went with the classic and mushroom broth. Glad we didn't go with spicier broth since both still had a good heat and had amazing flavor! Some of my favorites were fried rice (no additional charge), beef from the menu (no additional charge), noodles, napa, and the shrimp balls! While hotpot craze is wild in Atlanta right now, I feel like this spot is one of the few that offers shrimp balls, which are my fav when it comes to hotpot protein. Needless to say, we got our $$ worth and we feasted. From flavor, value, to service, this is my new favorite Chinese hotpot chain! P.S. Like the reviews, the floors are super slippery but they do have staff constantly wiping the floor and just make sure to be extra careful while walking around. Excited to finally have an AYCE skewer hotpot place in the area. Came on a weekday night and there was a slight wait. They run a weekday special at $34.99 but otherwise it is $39.99. You get a choice of several broths, few of which were chargeable. We chose to get two of the complimentary options which were served in one pot. The sauce bar had most of the normal options, but there were some sort of crisps there. The fridges had the skewers and a lot of the hot pot options. Enjoyed the shirataki noodles. Sliced meat had to be ordered with the waiters who were pretty friendly despite the chaotic environment. read more

You get to pick a broth, options for spicy or non spicy, single or double favors. We got the classic spicy and bone broth combo. The menu has options for added on A La Carte for additional price. The Cripsy pork from the menu was amazing!! (Included in the price). The sliced meat has to be ordered with the staff. All the food is located in the fridge in the general area with signs in English and Chinese ready for grabs. The sauce bar (like the typical hotpot) is in the middle with side dishes like edamame, oranges, and other fruits. We were really surprised when we were warned that our 2hr time limit was reached. We arrived at 1pm and they close at 3pm for a break (reopens at 4:30pm) we will be more mindful next time. Nevertheless, the staff were friendly, food was great. read more

Overall a 8.5/10 in my book. Small restaurant but very well decorated, vibrant and used their space very efficiently. This restaurant is a must visit if you're looking for something different than a regular hotpot experience. The skewers made it fun to eat and you could also order some other stuff on the menu also. Big big selection on food and good amount of vegetables. The sauce line was pretty standard and they do have ice cream here also. I've been to a lot of hotpot places but this place broth was one of the best for me. Flavorful, well seasoned, contained a lot of healthy ingredients. The restaurant is VERY bright and has a fridges along the side and a sauce bar and side items section in the middle. We got a split pot with Pork bone broth and Tomato broth. The pork broth was rich and delicious. I have tried other tomato broths, and I think this one was pretty good! Among one of the best tomato broths I've had. This spot is a skewer hot pot spot, so most items were self serve. If you want just plain meat rolls, you can order with the waiters. We got the beef rolls, and the picture I added is one order, so we did end up ordering more. Unfortunately, they did not have much pork on the menu. There were no pork rolls, and the only menu order items were the beef rolls, lam rolls, fried crispy pork, brown sugar rice cakes, white rice, or fried rice. The sauce bar was solid, and they had ice cream for dessert along with jellies and fruits. The reason for my rating is that most of the skewers were some variation of beef or lamb, and as a person that doesn't eat lamb, I was looking forward to pork. Even though they have a lot of items, I felt that they didn't have a lot of the items I usually find at hot pot. Another reason, is the value. This comes to $40 a person on Weekend nights. Growing interest in chinese style hot pot. This is so far the winner in duluth. You can get a pot with two soups to try or.. up to four soups.. They have a Tom Yum flavor, a hot oil numbing taste kind of flavor, fish maw chicken, mushroom and some others. Those are what iv'e tried so far. This is all you can eat buffet style hot pot. You have a 90 minute time limit. They bring out the meats and appetizers you order. On the buffet there's various noodles, sauces, veggies, tofus, tofu skin, fish tofu, taro, lotus root, enoki beef skewer, crab legs, potato noodle, mung bean noodle, ramen, udon etc. They also have ice cream cups included in the buffet.. if you can still eat after all this.. If you like tom yum and spice that is a good one. It has a good flavor. The spicier soups could be alot for someone sensitive to spice but if you love it they do have a good taste. The chicken fish maw and the mushroom soup base are my personal favs. If you order the two soup option those also taste good together. This is a current favorite of me and the bestie. Great new hotpot place in Duluth! Wait time was long but we signed up first online and then just waited in the car. Once we got inside though, the service was fast. The waitress explained the menu to us and we ordered the meat slices that we wanted and some side dishes. Then you can get whatever sauce you want from the sauce bar and AYCE skewers too. We sat there for 10 minutes completely ignored while staff walked past us multiple times. It felt like we were invisible. Eventually, we just got up and left.
