So happy to have a location closer to home! You can select a variety of broths and house sauces in addition to the sauce bar! Great options for the AYCE the whole family can enjoy.

Seafood, Beef and Fish Cake set! Fresh! Fresh!! Fresh!!! Vegetables are fresh too! It tastes best and fresh!!!

Delicious! Fresh!! Healthy!!! Tasty!!!! These're Gom Shabu Shabu in Duluth to me! Every vegetable is very fresh-- It's very good! Basic soup itself tastes good without any other sauce like my mom's soup. I can trust foods in Gom Shabu Shabu in Duluth! Also the sauce tastes very special! It has five different types. I prefer mild one. It's perfect for me. Using sauce bar, I can make my own sauce as well. Anyway It's best place if you want to try healthy, tasty and special food! :)

I like this place because they make the broth with purple cabbage. The variety isn't too big but it's quite nice for a cold day! I get either the premium beef, fresh seafood and I also tried the lamb which I enjoy. They make the sauce for you which has a peanut sauce base to it. The workers can make you the best combination of various spiciness for your sauce. If you have a peanut allergy just let them know and they won't mix it in! The premium beef is cuts of sirloin! So it's definitely worth the $1-$2 extra! The cut is also a little thicker! The price is about $14-$18 for each type of hotpot. You can also add in extra things for few more dollars each. Always get the porridge at the end! They also give you as much bean sprouts as you want! They mix in a bowl of rice with the left over soup with an egg! It's so good if you get the seafood one! It tastes just like abalone porridge. The service is a little bizarre. The lady workers make hot pot porridge the best but sometimes the owner will come and help you out if you're struggling. The younger workers are overworked and confused so it can be a little slow. Just be patient.

This place is perfect for a cold and rainy day. The hot pot is nice and hot with plenty of vegetables and meat.

The meat at Gom Shabu Shabu is really fresh, excellent, and expensive (because of the small portions). I'm a fan of the dipping sauce, which the server makes for you. Also, the host looks like he just walked out of a K-pop music video. I wish all men would wear slim cut suits like him. Note: Shabu shabu is basically the same as Chinese hot pot. Expect to spend at least $15 per person.

This place was great! The experience was awesome! They have individual pots for everyone. The sides that comes with the order is enough to fill you. Great service as well. They came and made sure we had enough water in our cups and pot. The food served was very fresh!

I usually go to Mini Hot Pot but today I felt like trying something new. Gom Shabu Shabu is located on Satellite Blvd. pretty spacious inside compare from the look on the outside. I ordered the shrimp and beef ($1 extra for the premium beef). There were like 5 or 6 pieces of shrimp, plate of veggies (1 mushroom, korean cabbage, Bok Choy, corn, sausage, imitation crab stick, rice cake, clear noodle, and pumpkin slice. I ordered dumplings $1.99 for 3pcs) as a side and porridge. There is a bar for you to make sauces but if it's your first time, you can ask the server to make it for you. I chose mild sauce. Sauce includes lot of green onions, garlic and their special sauce. I added extra sirracha because it was too mild for me. I feel that broth is bit blend but as you cook the broth more, it becomes more flavorful. Best part of the hot pot is the porridge. Server will come and make a porridge with your left over broth. It was delicious!!! Service is good, there is a bell for you to ring for service.

    Look at that meat!

Yumee Katsu is a modern-style katsu spot, and overall, the food is tasty even though I've definitely enjoyed some dishes more than others. My go-to order is the Assorted Katsu meal, and it's a winner for variety, flavor, and portion size. You get a couple of pieces of shrimp tempura, fish katsu, and pork & cheese katsu, plus the option to add a small side of udon or soba noodles. The fish katsu is light and flavorful, and the pork with cheese is a full-on cheese pull party. I also really enjoy their salad dressing and the dipping sauces that come with the donkatsu and fish katsu- they add a lot to the meal. The ambiance has a nice, modern vibe, and the service has always been friendly and welcoming. A small but thoughtful touch: they offer Asian candies for guests, which is a fun little refresher after your meal. Overall, Yumee Katsu is a great spot in Suwanee if you're in the mood for well-executed katsu in a cool, comfortable setting. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

I was a huge fan of this place when it was strictly Japanese...and was quite bummed when I heard…read morethey changed this restaurant from Japanese to Asian fusion. In any case, I finally decided to check out the place for dinner. Well, right away, I saw that they added more tables. Even with more tables, the restaurant still seemed pretty spacious. I've always loved the spaciousness of this place...but I find the layout a bit awkward. Unless you come with a group of 4, you'll most likely be seated in the open area...where there's just this utter lack of privacy. So yeah, as nice as this place is, there's a certain lack of comfort and coziness? I also noticed that their menu/menus looked quite different. Initially I was handed just this Korean-Chinese menu...and when I asked if they had Bento Boxes, they handed me the Japanese menu, but I didn't see any sushi rolls on the menu (??). I should have asked, but I just let that go. In retrospect, I really regret not asking. But then again, I wonder why they didn't hand out ALL the menus right off the bat? Who knows...Maybe they had a third menu with a list of sushi rolls?? ANYWAY, I ended up ordering their Bulgogi Bento, which turned out to be quite substantial in portion, and well presented. The thing I didn't like was the bland, undercooked Bulgogi, with excessive fat. I've been getting served a lot of Bulgogi like this lately around town..and it has somewhat turned me off to Bulgogi in general. I personally prefer a much better cooked Bulgogi, with less fat. I enjoyed the Japchae, as well as the fried sides, but frankly, all the foods were all lacking in full Korean flavor. Some of the sides in the bento just seemed off...like these lackluster Avocado Sushi Rolls and a generic Salad (??). I felt that for the 32-dollar pricing, the sides should have been much better. This bento also came with Egg Drop Soup...but again, too bland. Guess I should have poured some soy sauce. As usual, the service was really good though. They even added this complimentary post-meal drink...this might have been the best part of my entire meal? I still think this is a really nice restaurant, with a lot to offer. I just didn't like how it got rid of many of its stellar Japanese menu items. Also, unfortunately, I just didn't like what I ordered. Again, the Bulgogi was too mild and too fatty...and all the foods in the Bento tasted a bit too bland. If I was to return, I would definitely not repeat the Bulgogi Bento. If they really don't have any sushi rolls, guess I'd order something Chinese?

Outstanding ramen, incredible fresh noodles, and excellent service from Aaliyah…read more Okiboru Ramen Takumen in Duluth was absolutely worth the visit, and honestly, I'm just mad at myself for not trying it sooner. I started with the Okiboru buns (chicken and pork) the crispy gyoza, and the garlic nori fries. All three were a great start to the meal. The buns were soft and fluffy, and the pork bun worked really well with the garlic aioli, soy glaze, and pickled cucumber. The chicken one was good too but the pork one beats it on flavor. The gyoza had a nice crisp to them and came with a shoyu dipping sauce that tied everything together well. The garlic nori fries were also really good, crispy and well seasoned, and a fun side to snack on between everything else along with the garlic sauce to dip your fries in. For my main dish, I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, which comes with rich pork broth, pork chashu, half a soft boiled egg, scallions, and thin Hakata noodles. I also added the thick noodle refill on the side, and I'm glad I did because both noodles were excellent in different ways. The biggest standout here was the noodle quality. You can tell immediately that these are fresh noodles because the texture is just on another level. The thin noodles were fantastic and worked perfectly with the tonkotsu broth, but the thick noodles were incredible too. It's one of those meals where after the first bite you immediately understand why people talk about fresh noodles the way they do. The broth itself was rich, flavorful, and comforting without feeling overly heavy, and the pork in the ramen was very good too. Service was also a big part of why this visit stood out. Aaliyah was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she did a great job making the whole experience feel comfortable from the start. Good food is one thing, but good service is a huge part of what makes people want to come back, and she absolutely deserves a shoutout. The restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I was dining solo, so I sat at a smaller table, but they also have booths and larger middle tables that look like they'd work well for bigger groups. Food came out pretty quickly, and parking was easy since it's in a shopping center. And of course, everything got washed down with a Coke Zero. Not fountain, just canned, but it still hit the spot. This was an excellent meal from start to finish. Great appetizers, outstanding ramen, truly impressive noodles, and service that made the whole visit even better. I'll definitely be back.

For my entree, I ordered the tonkotsu ramen. Unfortunately, it was a bit lackluster. I'm not sure I'd return specifically for the ramen. My boyfriend ordered the truffle shoyu ramen and also found it to be underwhelming. The ambiance has also changed since my last visit. They've replaced the middle bar area with more tables and painted over the previously drawn-on walls. The space feels noticeably darker now and lacks some of the character it once had. That said, the service was great. Our server, JJ, was attentive, friendly and took good care of us.
