Craving KBBQ and this place did not disappoint. Our server was very attentive and helpful with the menu. Not just our server, but others came to assist as needed also which they showed good teamwork. The quality of the meats were good which most were marinated well. The accommodation of the sauces also added a good touch to the flavors of the meats. Sides such as corn cheese, egg soufflé, and seafood tofu soup were also good. The restaurant was very clean and spacious which they are able to accommodate many large parties. Great place to go if you're craving KBBQ.

Rating: 4.5 stars The AYCE had a very good variety of meats to choose from They also had tasty banchans and appetizers I enjoyed all the meats they had to offer as they were all tasty and fresh I also enjoyed the cilantro sauce they have to eat w your proteins it was really good I would visit this place again!!

AYCE Korean BBQ for lunch. Nice ambiance, great customer service, delicious food! My favorite is beef brisket, corn cheese, and pork belly. We also got pork steak, bulgogi, soybean paste soup egg soufflé. The side items, banchans dishes are good especially kimchi, salads, and macaroni salad. The 4 dipping sauces options is great too. I like the booth seatings with higher back giving some privacy in between tables. Service was fast during lunch rush hour! Definitely will be back again!

My go-to place for KBBQ! The price ($29.99 AYCE dinner) is worthwhile for the range of options and the quality of the food items. The bonchon is great, and I appreciate how the add-ons like rice and cheese corn are also endless after your first order. Always love coming here!

The back wall for the others

I'm torn. The food was excellent. Like most kbbq places, their service is all for one and one for all. It also seemed like all non-koreans were sat on the back wall with the dirty grill plates. Good food, terrible ambiance, great service. Good food wins tho. Would return.

    $25 lunch AYCE

Came by for the $25 lunch AYCE on a Monday. Extremely fast service, attentive staff (3-4 people checking up on us constantly). We'd put in an order, and someone would swing by to check if we needed anything else. Grills were changed multiple times during our visit. Wasn't too busy (maybe 4-5 other parties?). Thinly sliced pork belly and brisket were our faves - also got the pork belly, bulgogi, among other meats. Banchan was fine (variety of pickled veg, mac salad, kimchi), as well as slices of pickled radish perfect to wrap protein in. Ask for sesame oil in the salt for dipping. We were surprised by the individual portions of steamed egg, cheese corn, etc. Might be a ploy to fill you up on non-meat items, but doesn't hurt to specify. No upcharge for the steamed egg, which was nice (something I've been seeing at other spots). Can't beat a $25 AYCE !! Ate so much it doubled as dinner too.

Food was good, service was one of the worst restaurants I've been to. We went during lunch hours and the restaurant was fairly empty. There were few waiters and waitresses walking around, but they only checked up on us 3-4 times during our stay, essentially when we had to order our meats. Also, wasn't sure if we were supposed to cook ourselves or not? They would cook and disappear, so at one point we had to take over because the briskets started to burn. The meats were tasty though. It's a all you can order setup, so we tried few hours of the brisket and prime rib. The array of ban chan or side dishes were good. Their kimchi is fresh, so it's got a good kick to it, not the fermented kinds. I recommend the brisket because it's pretty tender and cooking it to make it slightly crispy and dipping it in the sauces given really adds good flavor. I think it's a sweet deal for $29.99 lunch special, but tip is included. Honestly though makes me wonder if because tip was included, service was mediocre because performance really doesn't matter. Probably will be back because the food was good, just going to hope for better service.

I love this KBBQ place. This one you get the most bang for your buck. The sides are really good and the meat is good quality. I don't mind that they include gratuity, the staff was very attentive and very fast. E.M bop has made it into my KBBQ rotation. Heads up: I asked for hot sauce and they gave me one of the hottest sauces I've ever had. Almost ruined my meal of how hot it was (I have a very high tolerance). I personally think they should give a warning. I was expecting something like Tabasco, Texas Pete. The pure capsaicin sauce was overkill.

E.M Bop is definitely one of my fav kbbq spots! The variety of what you can order with the all you can eat is great. Some of my favorites are the pork belly and short ribs. The sides taste good as well. The service has been good the times I have visited. The servers have been very attentive and help if they get a chance to see you need the assistance. Friendly as well! My only thing would be to offer more seats in the waiting area because it can get very crowded when busy. Other than that, I love the ambiance and cleanliness inside.

    Combo B - beef combo

This KBBQ restaurant in Duluth used to be good, now it's more catered to those that like AYCE. We got there around 6:30 pm on a Friday night and waited about 30 minutes for a table. Service overall was pretty good, but the meat quality has gone down. We ordered combo B and enjoyed the service more than the meat... There were plenty of side dishes and they were alright. Ice cold beer and soju made our dinner a bit better.

Just a heads up so others don't get confused like I did. The place was pretty busy, which made it feel like a popular spot. The atmosphere was nice and everything looked clean and well kept. Even though it was crowded, our server was very friendly and attentive. They cooked the meat right at the table, which made the experience better. The fried rice (볶음밤) they made on the grill at the end, especially with the pork belly, was honestly the best part. Overall, really enjoyed it and would definitely come back.

My partner and I came in around roughly 9:50-10pm. When we arrived we're were initially informed that we had to order soon because they were closing in 30 minutes and were understandings of that. Shortly after we were seated, (literally 1-2 minutes) about 3 employees came to our table letting us know we needed to order within the next few minutes. It was like 10:05. I tried asking one of the employee what the meat options were and was just interrupted by him being persistent in us ordering and did not really answer our questions, mainly because I noticed some of the meat options were pork and I do not consume pork for personal reasons. My partner and I felt overwhelmed and just ordered something we thought would not include pork. After submitting our order another employee came by with the check already without us asking insisting for us to pay before our food even came out. Mind you the restaurant closed within 20 minutes at this point. When our food did come out, it did contain PORK!!! We just left shortly afterwards and left the food on the table.

This time, I brought my friend who has never had Korean bbq before for her to try. We went right when it opened so it was quiet. I told the server it was her first time and he was eager to explain everything to her. I don't think she was prepared at all what was about to grace our table He brought out a cart full of side dishes and start to explain what each one is along with the flavor profile. When he got to the scallion salad, she was just not loving it, but he told her to at least try and see what she thinks (don't knock it til you try it!) Then he said they're still getting the charcoal ready so it'll be a few more minutes and my friend's eyes just (like what?) So we start with trying a bite of all the sides. She enjoyed everything except the sliced onion salad. Surprisingly, she loved everything else, including the scallion salad! She's a texture eater, so I was weary of her trying the tofu, but she really enjoyed that too! So... the charcoal comes out, and she's just Then the server brings the grill with the cheesy corn, spicy bean sprout, and he poured in the eggs. Followed by the meats! Since she didn't really know what she likes, I made a few suggestions and the server suggests letting him bring us the most popular items first and we can work our way through the menu. What a great idea!! Started with brisket and ribeye and wow ... meats were fresh, paired with the sides, and the dipping sauces, it's just chef's kiss!! We then had bulgogi and pork belly and those were just bursting with flavor! The cheesy corn was good but burned too fast on the grill, the spicy bean sprouts are amazing, and the steam egg is my favorite . The only downside is that if you don't eat those sides that are cooking on the grill right away they'll turn dry and burned and it won't be as good. The cheesy corn also caused some splattering to our hands when we were cooking the meats. The server apologized for the oil splattering since he heard the squeal immediately soak up the oil from the cheesy corn so the splattering would stop. Overall, my friend gave it 10/10!!!
