I have been to this store a couple of times and every single time I've had a good experience. 4 different individuals approached me while I was in the store. They were all very polite and helpful (I was in the store for almost two hours, putting and looking around). Alex in particular was extremely helpful and polite and deserves a raise. First time I visited I purchased a putter, driver, and some accessories. Second time I returned a driver that I was not satisfied with and traded it in for a different driver. Terrible service. Went in to buy two wedges. So looking to drop almost $400. Got 6 wedges to try out on the mat. Was told they would "maybe" let me hit 2. Otherwise I had to get a club fitting. Didn't need or want one. Just wanted to spend 5 minutes hitting a couple different clubs. I walked out. Have spent $1000s at this place over the years. Will never spend another dime with the company. At this point I've gone to this Golf Galaxy for many years, spent a lot of money, and become a Gold member. I've traded in clubs for store credit numerous times. Yesterday I walked in to trade in some irons for store credit so I could buy a new rangefinder, and the manager told me they only take trade ins for immediate purchases of the same clubs. So since I was trading in an iron set I could only buy an iron set. I told the manager this didn't make sense because I'd gotten store credit before and he said "That's the policy here, go to Roger Dunne instead." I called their corporate line where they assured me this isn't the policy and that they would call this store to reeducate them on store policies. I did end up going to Roger Dunne, their biggest competitor, and sold my clubs there as well as buying a new rangefinder as well. I won't stop going to Golf Galaxy generally, but I do hope this store manager enjoys his reeducation. Sending loyal longtime customers to your biggest competitor is a hell of a business strategy. read more

This past time that I visited this shop I was not at all pleased. There was someone at the cash register who greeted me when I arrived. He wasn't really paying all that much attention. He didn't seem to care whether I or anyone else was coming or going. He didn't ask if there was anything that we were looking for in particular. He was watching TV. He was watching one of the more recent major tournaments that was being televised. I understand that golf is interesting and what not but I think that you should pay attention to the guests that you have coming into the store. For all you know, your lack of enthusiasm or lack of eye contact even might mean a huge sale for you and/or your store! He didn't give a single F! I wasn't pleased with that (lack of) interaction from the very beginning. My lil one came in with us. She was interested in the putting area. She and her Dad putted a bit on the practice area. He saw here there and didn't care either. He didn't ask if we needed help or anything. My hubby went over to the wall where there were a number of sets of clubs on display. He picked through some of them, giving each of them a baby test swing, to get an idea for the grip, weight, etc. Still, no help. We went to look through some of the golf attire and some of the golf shoes. We looked around the store for anyone that might work there. Still, no help. I told my hubby I was over it and that I wanted to go. He seemed OK with that too. He had questions but couldn't find anyone who cared at all. When we left there was a girl at the register. She was on her cell phone laying across the counter and just barely said bye. I mean, I kine it must have been close to closing time but my goodness. She was literally lookin' like a kiddo in her boring math class trying to stay awake. She had her body strewn across the counter, laying on her arm, on her phone and only gave a smirk and a mediocre, "ok!" I don't need to come back here for anything but in the event that I come back because the hubby needs to pick something up, I hope they are much better at delivering SOME kind of customer service. read more

Stopped in on a rainy day to test and hopefully buy a new hybrid. I spoke with one (not so) jolly gentleman (0 stars) and Rick, the PGA pro (nice guy- 5 star), to put together two hybrids. I was offered the bay by Rick (who left for lunch) and after 8 swings (given only one ball) before my back was even loosened up, the first guy started lecturing me that if I want to hit anymore I had to rent the bay, get a lesson, or purchase a formal club fitting (they only had one XS shaft in the entire fleet btw). He then rationalized by saying they have Trackman in the bay - which doesn't mean squat to me. I simply wanted to demo the club with intent to purchase. Had the expectations been clear and set from the start, that's fine. For Bad Santa to come in and drive me out of the store is an absolute disgrace. This Golf Galaxy needs to get their head out of their gopher hole and be amenable to golfers looking to buy clubs at basic retail store. Was shopping online for shoes and it had said this location had 1 pair left in my size. This was the nearest store, which was 1 hr away. I didn't want to drive all the way there and them not have my size available so I called and specifically explained that to them. The associate said he would check and put me on hold, he then verified they had the shoe in stock and would have the order ready. I then immediately placed the order and started heading out that way. Unfortunately 40 minutes into my drive I get a notification explaining my order had been cancelled because they didn't have my size. When I called to ask what the problem was they told me they didn't have my size and the inventory online was incorrect. When I called I made it very clear that online it said they had my size in stock but I wanted to call and double check they had my size before driving over there. The associate literally gave me the same information that was online instead of taking 5 min on his shift to check. A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME THAT COULD HAVE EASILY BEEN AVOIDED. How is this place still in business?? The customer service is non-existent here. Came in the Friday before Fathers Day thinking about picking up a new driver to treat myself and had my mind set on the TaylorMade SIM2. I was one of 3 customers in the whole store and there was a hitting bay empty and nobody else waiting. I asked them to demo the club and turn the tracking equipment on. The manager (older guy, didn't get his name) was not friendly and had an attitude about the whole thing - he told the sales associate to turn the simulator equipment on, but not to turn on the lights? And then he said I was only allowed to hit 6 balls to try out the driver. I'm expected to make a decision on a $500+ driver based on hitting 6 balls in the dark? He said any more than 6 and he would charge me for a fitting. They gave me a ball to hit, one at a time and stopped at 6. In a final act of pettiness, after each swing they quickly cleared the shot data on the simulator so I wasn't able to see how I was hitting it. Needless to say, I ended up not buying the club and unlikely I will ever step foot in one of their stores again. read more

Terrible customer service and their store is a big let down... Shop online and avoid this store by all means. I drove 45 mins to this store to return a pair of shoes and exchange a glove I ordered online. I got home and realized that the cashier had bagged the glove I returned leaving me with a glove that doesn't fit. Both the employee who made the error as well as the store manager told me there was absolutely nothing they could do for me and that the only solution was for me to drive another hour and half round trip to do another exchange. Pretty cool place to shop just don't leave your stuff here to fix. I had my shaft regripped and had a weird twist at the top but that's whatever. Biggest problem was I had a new adapter put in waited a week and when it came to finally pick up it wasnt cleaned still had glue coming out the top. After a few swings the adapter was lose and started to spin the head that's when I took it off and saw that they used glue than epoxy Mayb there's a difference I don't know just the glue wasn't settled properly and the adapter inside was looking brand new as if the glue didn't grab properly! Despite some bad reviews I have read. I went shopping for a putter with an open mind. I wanted to speak with a rep. That could help in the type of putter I Needed. I was real fortunate to be greeted at the entrance by John. John spent over an hour patiently fitting me with several putters and also giving me some good feedback that has helped on the greens. He sold me what I wanted (Ping Heppler Tyne 3) I also left the store a lil more educated on my arch, loft and speed of my putter. I couldn't have had a better experience. Furthermore, Golf Galaxy has a good selection of LEFT HANDED CLUBS ( left handed lives matter) Thanks John! read more

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY OR EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!! The staff is terrible, not helpful and try anything to get you to apply for credit you don't need. The club service department takes days for re-grip or any service. I had 2 full sets of clubs re-gripped in Feb. of 2020. Both sets were purely done. Grips on one set weren't aligned correctly and the other set, the under wrap was hanging out of the grips. Crappy job!! Decided to try again this past month after I purchased a new set of irons. (Re-grip and shafts cut) Took 2 1/2 days, after I picked them up and got home, noticed they didn't cut the shafts down to the length I requested and paid for. ROGER DUNN is now open in the area. Hey Golf Galaxy....Don't say you price match when you don't! Just say that you will come up with every single excuse not to price match. I was in there on Saturday morning, found a putter I liked, then looked online to see if there was a better price. I found the exact same putter online for $20.00 cheaper. I tell the girl at the register and she gets in her ear piece and talks to someone and she says they do t price match with this particular website. I found another site and it was even cheaper and she called the manager. He then told me they don't price match from that site either. Bottom line. what a bunch of bullshit. I asked the manager why it says you price match right in the front door. He told me to go online and look something up and by that time I was so over it I just left. It must be great to be able to turn business away. I bought it from the online retailer and walked out of my local store. What a shame. Came in to get my Driver and 5 wd regripped. They had a wide selection and were able to do the work on the spot. Only took about 10 minutes if even that. Their prices were better than anywhere online. $3 to regrip each. Service was excellent and workers were very friendly and helpful. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED I'd give 0 stars if it was possible. Our reason for visiting was very simple - it was regarding one of the special order golf sets for my little brother. We ordered 3 custom sets, but the one for my 9 year old brother ended up being too long/heavy, causing him to injure himself. I described the situation to an old gray-haired man who said he was the "manager". He was rude from the start, interrupting me to ask, "Does he know how to swing a golf club?" Seriously? My brother used one of the clubs and did a swing just to show him...fyi my little bro has been taking private golf lessons for 2+ years and we wouldn't be custom fitting a set if he was new to golf okay? Needless to say, his attitude revealed prejudice against my brother for his young age. Even his golf coach said the clubs were a misfit, but the old man replied saying they used his measurements. Look, we can go on an on about whether they were made to fit but the point is the old man was in no mood to listen to our needs and provide ANY after-sales service. At one point, I had to say "Excuse me, I'm not done speaking" because he kept on interrupting. I don't think I've ever had to say that to anyone's face. We weren't asking for returns, just so they could provide some sort of assistance for my brother. But the man said NO every time I tried to explain how my brother couldn't use clubs. He even dared suggest that my brother will be able to use them once he grew taller...which just goes to prove that they were misfit for him at the time. There was a younger guy who attempted to help after overhearing us speak, but was restrained by the old man. I saw him turn to give the younger guy a look and the guy walked away... I'm not sure about what the company policy is regarding providing assistance with special orders, but I doubt that they're told to just say no. Even if there was nothing they could do, it would be more acceptable if they were apologetic about it and expressed some empathy. He basically told us special orders cannot be returned/exchanged because they wouldn't be able to sell them to others, which we already knew? We wouldn't be there in the first place unless there was something that couldn't be ignored. So in his reasoning, they take no responsibility for special orders and customers are just stuck with whatever they get. After our experience, my family now has zero trust for such a store that has zero dedication to fulfilling customer needs. My little brother stood next to me the whole time and when we left the store, he asked, "why was that man so rude and mean?" Go anywhere but here if you need equipments. read more

This location has great customer service. Everyone is really friendly and knowledgeable. Kevin in the Tour Shop is a class act! I had come in with my own grips from a 3rd party and he immediately called to let me know I had purchased fakes. I was shocked/ embarrassed of the whole situation. He was so empathetic and took time to explain how the ones I had brought in were way off from the ones that had in stock. Im so grateful that he pointed this out early instead of letting me out on the course to have my clubs fall apart on me. Thanks for going above and beyond for me Kevin! I had a bad experience at another location but still interested in some items that are featured in the store. This stores staff was not friendly nor the least bit knowledgeable on return policies, exchanges & warranties. I was told one thing by employee and something entirely different from assistant manager. Which one is it? Not to mention it took at least 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge my presence in the store. However I noticed someone that came in after me who appeared to just be arriving from a golf course got helped right away. Coincidence? This place customer service is non existent. Especially for those like myself don't wear golf attire while shopping. I found out golf galaxy and Dicks Sporting Goods are "Sister" stores. I went to the store looking to buy a new bag and the service from Kevin was exceptional. He was very patient with my questions.

Came in to have the shafts of my irons cut down to standard length. Price seemed reasonable so I handed my clubs over and was told to come back in a fews days. I picked up the clubs and didnt inspect them closely while i was at their location, which was a mistake. This is my second draft of my review, the first was approachiny an ungoldly length so i'll keep this relatively short. The issues: 1. Metal shavings and a ridiculous amout of brown/black dust within the bag holding my clubs. How hard is it to just dust off the clubs and hand them over to me clean? 2. Shockingly poor workmanship. All the shafts had been cut at an angle. I could have done a better job with my eyes closed using a hand saw with MY FEET. 3. The cutting tool they used left a razor sharp bevel that they didnt remove. A quick spin against a coarse buffing wheel is all it would have taken to fix that. 4. One of my shafts had nearly an inch of plating removed just below the cutline and was jaggedly peeled back. (Wish i had snapped photos) 5. Lastly, they didnt even bother to remove the grip tape so a significant amount of metal shavings and sharp artifacts had adhereded to the tape. While the workmanship was poor they addressed the issue to my satisfaction. I called the store, spoke to the manager she not only refunded the total amount, went a step further and gave me a hat, and a selection of a dozen golf balls. So i give the service a zero star, and the managers reaponse a 4 star. THUS the overall three star review. read more

I'm never shopping here again. I've spent thousands of dollars in this store. In the last year I've bought a pair of footjoys and a ping cart bag. Both had defects. In both cases the store would refuse to take any exchanges after 3 months. My brother had the same problem with the ping bags - there's a defect on the strap. Roger Dunn took an exchange with no problem. Why would I return here? For one brand new bag with a broken strap Golf Galaxy lost a lifetime customer. Hope it was worth it! read more

I purchased an expensive Bushnell rangefinder at this store. I did not keep the receipt. The rangefinder fell apart. I took it back to the store and asked them to look up my purchase since I'm always required to provide a phone number/email address. I was told that had no record of purchases more than 90 days old. I was also told they could not help and that I should just contact Bushnell. I spoke to the assistant manager and manager. I was treated rudely. I have spent thousands of dollars at that store.; Never again will I buy anything from Golf Galaxy. My opinion is that everyone should do the same. read more

Started playing golf again and realized all of my equipment was 15 years old. Time sure does fly. Even my balls had dust on them. So started shopping and found myself at Golfsmith(now Golf Galaxy) Zero expectations, just window shopping for new clubs. In fact, I didn't want to speak to anyone. Let's add being voted "least approachable" in high school to the mix and you get the picture. In 2021, I have been to this location 6 times. One time to shop for a new wedge, followed by a hitting Mat and practice balls. Each time, I was greeted and told if I needed anything to let them know. I always ignore that line! When I did search for that wedge (, I probably left on #17 in 2009), I did ask for help. Didn't get his name but the club salesperson updated me on what the "A" means on a set. Apparently, approach and Pitching wedges are standard, and not 3 irons! Good to know! Salesman was courteous and with this 100+ golfer. Took my antique set to get new grips and realized after that my grips were worth more that my set. When checking out, the manager started chatting to me about Father's Day and we spoke out our kids. He asked if I had an account, I said no but after getting my email, he found my old account. I had some points to redeem and save some money. It sure pays off to be a member of big Dicks sporting goods. I found the staff to be friendly but then I hate people anyway. I ended picking up a new Titleist set online because the store didn't have any in stock. I recommend visiting Golf Galaxy for the equipment you know you need. Need balls...boom. Tees...bang. Alignment sticks....pow! Need a fitting, hitting stalls, launch monitor...Roger Dunns is more for ya. But for the everyday type of stuff, Golf Galaxy is never never far away. read more

Terrible policy regarding access to hitting bays. They're just hitting bays guys not sure why you treat them with such restrictions and fees. Get over it... guys like to tinker and experiment. You don't need a PhD to see if you like a clubs feel and shit shape better. First off, Matt helped me out and was very helpful in selecting a hybrid to bridge my gap between driver and irons. He showed me a few options which completely differed from what I had in mind coming in. I was hitting a few different hybrids as Matt worked with other individuals, and another employee came by to tell me my time was up. When I asked the name of the gentleman who was helping me was (MATT), this other employee was very rude and basically told me "idk but he forgot about you". This guy was completely trash and has no business working at a golf store. Completely drives people away from an already difficult sport. On the other hand, big ups to MATT for being very helpful through the process. read more
